LPU Admission Office BCom Eligibility & Highlights 2026

At the undergraduate level, the University also offers BCom and BCom (Hons) courses for a duration of three years. LPU BCom admission is based on candidates' marks in their last qualifying examination (Class 12). BCom programme is offered in two different specialisations as mentioned in the table below with respect to their minimum eligibility requirement:

I'm satisfied with the good placements and co-curricular activities in the university.

Placements: Placements in the college were good for us. Almost 80% of the students were placed. The highest salary offered was Rs. 9,000, per month and the lowest was Rs. 2,000 per month. The roles and positions offered to students were related to recruiting, associate, etc. Companies that visited the university for placements were Justdial, Pinclick, StarFing, Convergys, and Eduvirtucation, etc.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our university is good, and the sports facilities are excellent. Medical facilities are available 24 hours. The labs are not up to date as sometimes there is no internet connection when we do our CA online. Most of the PCs do not work. Quality of food in the canteen is fine.

Faculty: The lecturers are also very helpful. Presentations are used for teaching which is really very helpful for us. Activities are done in the tutorial, and videos are shown for more clarity on the concept. Live projects are given to students. Teaching quality is good. But some faculty members just give lectures on the theory parts of a topic and won't teach the practical implications which creates problems while doing assignments.

Other: They provide good scholarships to students.

My college name is viral because of Punjab songs, but the quality of study or sports is very good.

Placements: In my course, 30% of students are placed. In my college, the highest 9 Lacs, average 2-5 lacs & the lowest package is Rs 1 lacs. Companies such as CPIT, Hartron, etc., visited for placements.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi and labs are available. The classrooms or new buildings also take place and a library is also in college. The hostel quality is good but not perfect. The food quality is good and medical and sports facilities are excellent.

Faculty: Teachers are well qualified, highly knowledgeable and the teachers are available but some of them are very rude not perfect. Yes, this course is curriculum relevant. All the students are ready for industrial ready, teachers have well knowledge about the economy or industrial level.

Lovely Professional University provides scholarships for every program offered by the university on the basis of LPUNEST. The amount of scholarship is decided according to the score obtained in LPUNEST. The candidates who score above the cut-off in LPUNEST qualify for the given scholarships:

Group 1: Maximum 60% of the course fee
Group 2: Up to 50% of Programme Fee
Group 3: Maximum 40% of the course fee
Group 4: Maximum of 25% of Programme Fee
