Review of Loyola Academy Degree and PG College.
Placements: About 60-70% of the students got placed, and some of them go for higher studies. The highest salary package offered, as I heard, is about 15 LPA. Top companies are Asian Paints, Deloitte, MRF Tyres, Amazon, Dr. Reddy's Labs, Hetero Pharmaceutical Industries and Wipro. The top role offered was as a manager.
Infrastructure: In the canteen, prices are quite high, but the sports facilities are good. Hostel facilities are the best. Still, you have to compromise with food, and milk and some other vegetables come from farms. Our college has its own farms, and for milk, they had cattle. They always go through organic food only.
Faculty: Teachers are well-experienced, friendly and movable. Teachers are very helpful in the time of exams. They try to explain more, and they also say about future plans and studies. Our course consists of CBCS, i.e., choice-based credit system. It consists of a total curriculum for the preparation of industry.
Other: Resonance is the only intra-college fest which is the biggest fest, and departmental fests are common in 2018 and 2019. Due to covid 19, there is nothing like events and fests.

No support for innovation or intelligence. Faculty is quite orthodox and is not open to any changes.
Placements: About 30% of students were placed in my course including me. I was offered the highest package of 3.8 LPA and the lowest was around 1.8 LPA. The top recruiting companies included ITC, MRF, Asian paints and Dr. Reddy's. The best role that was offered was of quality control officer in ITC paper and paperboards, Bhadrachalam.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college was quite average and labs were of ancient times. The hostel was the worst part of the college with really bad and poorly maintained infrastructure and pathetic food. College canteen serves the worst food possible ever.
Faculty: The curriculum included irrelevant subjects and the faculty was below average with half of them not having good knowledge of the subject and half of them not knowing how to teach those subjects. Only 40% of the curriculum made any sense in terms of making a student industry ready.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in chemistry. The only good thing about the course is that its fee is comparatively cheap as it is a government-aided course. Apart from that neither the curriculum nor the faculty is up to the standards.
