B.E. in Electronics and Communication Engineering - Batch of 2025
3.8

Good infrastructure, and I am satisfied with my chosen course.
Placements: In my batch of Electronics and Communication Engineering, around 70–75% of students were placed. The highest package offered was 8 LPA, the lowest was around 3 LPA, and the average package stood at 4.5 LPA. The top recruiting companies for our course included Salcomp, Foxconn, TVS Transenergy, and Schneider Electric. Around 50% of students got internships, with opportunities in Flipkart and Schneider Electric for one month. The top roles offered were in embedded systems, testing, networking, and production engineering.
Infrastructure: The college provides well-maintained infrastructure with Wi-Fi access up to the classroom level, well-equipped laboratories, spacious classrooms, and a resourceful library. Hostel facilities are decent, with adequate rooms and basic amenities. The food in the mess is average, though the canteen facilities are better. The campus also has medical facilities, indoor and outdoor sports, and a decent environment for academics and extracurriculars. Overall, the infrastructure is supportive for both learning and living.
Faculty: Faculty members are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable, ensuring that the core concepts of the course are explained well. The curriculum was relevant and industry-oriented, making students prepared for diverse roles in electronics and IT sectors. Semester exams were of moderate difficulty, testing both practical and theoretical understanding. The pass percentage was average to good, with most students able to clear the exams with consistent preparation.
Other: I chose Electronics and Communication Engineering because of its diverse career opportunities in the future. The best part about the course is its versatility and industry scope. The campus has a friendly crowd, extracurricular clubs, and technical events that add vibrancy to college life. Annual fests, sports activities, and cultural programs give students exposure beyond academics. The campus surroundings are peaceful, and scholarship support is available for eligible students. However, improvement in canteen food and hostel facilities would make it better.

The curriculum is somewhat relevant and did a decent job good teaching quality.
Placements: My college offers various internship opportunities with companies that provide a stipend. These internships cover a range of roles depending on the company and the student's field of study. For instance, students have interned at companies like XYZ Teach in roles such as software development, data analysis, or marketing. Projects typically involve tasks like developing a mobile app, conducting market research, or optimizing business processes. Outcomes often include gaining hands-on experience, building a professional network, and enhancing skills relevant to the industry. Overall, these internships help students apply theoretical knowledge in a practical setting and boost their career prospects.
Infrastructure: Nightlife in and around my college campus is pretty chill. After classes, students usually unwind by changing out in the cafeterias, which are open till around 8-9 PM. The gym is open till 10 PM for those who wanna get a late-night workout in. The library closes by 8 PM, so after that, public areas like the campus lawns or student hangout spots become popular. In hostels, students often have movie nights or gaming sessions till late. Famous hangouts inside campus include the food court and the student activity center.
Faculty: Teachers in this course were generally helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable, contributing to a good teaching quality. The course curriculum is somewhat relevant and does a decent job of making students industry-ready, though there's room for improvement in terms of incorporating the latest industry trends. The semester exams in this college are moderately difficult, and the pass percentage is fairly decent given the level of difficulty and student preparation.

Dissatisfaction because of sanitation. No arrangement made for industrial visit.
Placements: I am not very sure about the placement scenario. We have had a few sessions about interviews and a self-development class taught by a guest faculty.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is below average, and the food provided is the worst I have ever had. The hostel needs to be maintained properly, and staff needs to be appointed for cleaning and sanitation. The drinking water is unhygienic, and proper guidance should be provided for hostel maintenance.
Faculty: The department staff are good and provide friendly guidance. The teaching is good, but so far there has been no industrial visit. The staff is qualified, but they need to appoint staff for cleaning and sanitation. The drinking water is unhygienic, and they should provide proper guidance for hostel maintenance.
Other: I am a student at this college, but I don't know anything about the placement scenario. So far, we have had a few sessions about interviews and a self-development class taught by a guest faculty. The courses are only taught through theoretical lectures, and no lab classes are provided. I need more hands-on computer knowledge.

My college offers good infrastructure and supportive faculty.
Placements: In my batch, around 70- 75% of students got placed successfully. The highest package is 6 LPA, the average is 4 LPA, and the lowest is 2.5 LPA. Nearly 60% of students got internships in companies with roles such as software engineer, data analyst, business analyst, and graduate engineer trainee, being the most offered.
Infrastructure: Our department has well-equipped classrooms, computer labs with Wi-Fi, and access to a central library with digital resources. The hostel facilities are decent with spacious rooms, 24/7 water and electricity, and medical support. The mess food is average but hygienic, and the canteen offers a good variety. There are also sports grounds, indoor games, and a gym to support extracurricular activities.
Faculty: Faculty members are qualified, approachable, and supportive, though teaching quality varies across subjects. The curriculum is updated and moderately industry-oriented, with practical exposure through labs and projects. Semester exams are of medium difficulty, testing conceptual clarity more than rote learning, and the overall pass percentage remains above 85- 90% in most courses.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in the subject and its career opportunities. The best part of the course is the balanced mix of theory and practical learning, along with supportive faculty. However, more industry tie-ups and advanced labs would improve exposure. Campus life is lively with annual fests, cultural events, and active student clubs. The crowd is diverse and friendly, and the campus is well-connected with safe surroundings. Scholarships and extracurricular activities further enrich student life, making the overall experience memorable.

My college offers good academics, supportive faculty, placements, and vibrant campus life.
Placements: I am from the 2021-2025 ECE batch. About 80% got placed, with the highest package of 6 LPA and the lowest 3 LPA. Top recruiters were HCL, Salcomp, Foxconn, Range, TVS Transenergy, and QSpiders. Nearly 90% secured internships in reputed firms with roles in core and IT fields.
Infrastructure: The department has well-equipped labs, Wi-Fi-enabled classrooms, and a resourceful library. Hostel facilities are decent with clean rooms, though the food in the mess and canteen could improve. Medical care is available on campus, and sports facilities are good for overall student development.
Faculty: Teachers in our course are generally helpful, well-qualified, and knowledgeable, with many holding advanced degrees and industry experience, which makes the teaching quality quite effective. The curriculum is regularly updated, blending theory with practical applications, and includes projects, labs, and internships that help students become industry-ready.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in electronics and the opportunities it provides to build a strong foundation for my career. The best things about the course are the practical learning through labs, industry exposure via internships, supportive faculty, and good placement opportunities. However, I feel there is still scope for improvement in areas like a more updated curriculum, advanced lab equipment, and increased industry tie-ups to make students even more future-ready.

Average satisfaction, not really a great experience.
Placements: There are no proper placement drives provided by the management. Internships provided by the management for the students are not at all appropriate and relevant to the management students. There are no placement interviews for the management students and during the admission process they didn't mention the placements.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure at this college is average, and the food is also average. The food in the canteen and mess is not at all good. The maintenance is very bad, and the sanitary conditions are poor. The classrooms are not well equipped, and there are no lifts in the college.
Faculty: Teaching methods and related activities are good but not on a regular basis. Staffs and other faculties are in very bad condition. There is no regular coordination among faculties in the conduct of teaching patterns. Staffs are not on the right track to keep up with the students.
Other: Average conduct of activities.
