Good to learn the way of life, but not great for placements when compared to past 2–4 years.
Placements: Well, we got average placements. Only known companies like Pennant and Infosys (for women) were seen for placements. I would say only 50 percent of students were placed (on-campus and off-campus). I don’t know about the highest and lowest packages of the college. The average package is around 4.5 LPA (CTC).
Faculty: Faculty is supportive irrespective of the subject they teach. They help you learn what you want to learn and what you want to do in your career, and I find it soothing. Academics is something I didn’t worry about because I understood that skills, a good academic CGPA (around 8.4), and proper hands-on experience with different technologies are what we need. I am really happy that I got that.
Other: There is a club I know, MVGR SLC (I think now it is in the IT department). Whoever is interested in doing projects and learning the way of life in a work atmosphere. It should be a starting point. The course was okayish. I wish there were more practical learning courses where we do hands-on work for everything we learn. It would be much better. We ended up mostly learning theory alone (not for all courses, but for a few courses like Data Analytics, etc.).

Pace sounds like the rain at MVGR.
Placements: I get placed in a startup with a really good package as a software developer. It starts with an internship and is converted to a full-time role. Even at this phase, software jobs are seeing a decline. The highest package is 20 LPA for the academic year 2025–2026.
Infrastructure: The college has very good amenities and a central library. The hostel I live in is hygienic and has 2-sharing rooms with common washrooms on each floor. It has a gym, projector rooms, labs, and a beautiful garden where evening walks feel pleasant after having snacks.
Faculty: I find the best teachers in the college, who are helpful and motivating. Almost all of my course curriculum is relevant to what I am targeting. Regulations and syllabus keep changing regularly to keep up with emerging technology. Semester exams are easy enough to attempt.

Bad placements, good faculty. Join at your own risk.
Placements: Placements are worse. Out of 200 students in my branch, only 50–60 get placed on campus, and not all of them get placed in good companies. The only company that hires in bulk is Infosys, and it mainly hires women. I personally got an internship opportunity at Juspay for my 4-1 semester. They asked for college management permission. However, the placement officer is not supportive at all and does not grant permission. It causes me to miss the opportunity to attend the interview at Juspay.
Infrastructure: Labs are well-maintained. I am not from the hostel, but many of my friends find the hostel neat and properly maintained. However, the food is not very hygienic, but it can be managed. The permissions are too strict, which makes the campus safe for everyone. Mobile network is an issue within the campus.
Faculty: Faculty members are highly qualified and supportive. The curriculum is good for basic knowledge. Not all faculty members are good at teaching, but many experienced, knowledgeable faculty members help and guide students with projects. Semester exams are conducted properly.
Other: As a recent graduate, I suggest choosing a better university if it is affordable. Do not join here expecting good placement opportunities.

Good placements in 2026, along with nice infrastructure and campus culture.
Placements: About 70% of eligible students get placed in my CSE branch. The highest package is 20 LPA, the lowest package is 3.4 LPA, and the average package is 3.6 LPA. I think Infosys hires more students, mostly girls. Companies like NDMatrix, TCS, and others also hire many students. Almost all eligible students do internships during their third year.
Infrastructure: In my branch (CSE), the infrastructure is good, with labs, placements, and friendly faculty members. Our branch has separate classrooms, labs, and a seminar hall. During the first and second years, we have sports periods and library periods. After that, we attend T&P classes.
Faculty: Teachers are very friendly and help us understand everything. They also guide us regarding our plans. Some courses or subjects, such as Biology, seem irrelevant to us. However, every core subject includes practical labs and detailed explanations. I think the semester exams are of moderate difficulty. The pass percentage is around 90%.

Highly satisfied, and a special mention to the faculty.
Placements: They train students well during placement time, i.e., at the end of 3-2 sem. Also, they train us through CRT classes even from the beginning of the first year. The highest package offered is 8 LPA. Our college offers company-wise training sessions for students to perform well.
Infrastructure: College is neatly maintained with clean classrooms and well-structured and highly efficient labs. The library at MVGR is very helpful with a lot of collections of books for students. It is the best library you can find compared to any other college. Faculty often encourages students to participate in sports. Every year, they conduct inter-department matches of cricket and kabaddi.
Faculty: Teachers here are highly skilled. They not only teach subjects but also mentor us in every possible way. We can approach them very easily for any issues. They often maintain friendly behaviour. Especially, they not only teach subjects knowledge but give moral support to build a good path. We are very lucky to have an excellent faculty that not only teaches but also plays games with us.
Other: Fests and annual days are conducted every year in March. The main key point is the college atmosphere and infrastructure. It is very well maintained and provides a homely feel.

Pleasant campus vibe, friendly faculty, and good library infrastructure.
Placements: My journey at the college has been a whole roller coaster ride. Our professors have constantly supported me to understand and clear my fundamentals. They also supported me in understanding the competitive preparations, which led to my successful selection in the on-campus drive. I have secured an 8 LPA package with the assistance of the college and placement cell. The training classes and mock tests helped a lot in improving myself to meet the industrial standards. The training boosted my confidence and helped me know my weaknesses and overcome them, and to turn them into my strengths.
Infrastructure: The canteen food is good. The library is useful for all the competitive exams. The facilities are good enough to pursue the course effectively. The campus has a sports complex. The yearly sports meet happens during the time of the annual day. Sports are equally encouraged along with the curriculum.
Faculty: Professors are friendly and are always available to clear the queries. My Professors supported me to understand and clearing my fundamentals. Exams are conducted under CCTV surveillance.
