Maharaj Vijayaram Gajapathi Raj College of Engineering (MVGRCE)
Placements: They offer good CTC-based placements, and we also got new companies, startups, and MNC companies. The placements are average, and the percentage of last year’s placements is 78% overall. The students got many internships through the college and outside. The top roles are software development intern.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure was very good, and they used to maintain labs neatly with a very strict policy to not allow outside use. The facilities are very good, and there are clubs also available in college. Medical facilities are there to take care of students who feel ill.
Faculty: Faculty members are from top institutions and are very approachable. They also guide us in the right way. The course offers a relevant curriculum based on what the industry needs, and according to the students, they designed this course. The semester exams are not hard; they are hard sometimes.

Placements: The percentage of students placed in this course is 78 percent this year, and the highest package offered by Cisco and the lowest package offered by TCS is 3 LPA. 80 percent of students have done their internships in different companies through the 3rd year of college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is very good, and they also provide labs. The campus is neat and also provides so many facilities to students to learn. They also provide a library for studying. The infrastructure of the library is top-notch, and the maintenance of the infrastructure is also good. They also provide central AC in the library.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. They are teaching according to the industry purpose, and the curriculum is very relevant to this industry. Also, the semester exams are not that difficult, and they are very easy to score.

Comprehensive learning experience with excellent support.
Placements: In my batch 75 percent students successfully secured placements in various reputed companies. The highest salary package offered is 15 LPA while the average package generally falls in the range of 4 to 5 LPA. Leading recruiters include well known companies such as Wipro, TCS, Microsoft and HCL Technologies. Besides placements 40 percent students also received internship opportunities in reputed organizations during their course which helped them gain valuable real world experience. The placement cell actively supports students by organizing training sessions workshops and mock interviews to improve employability skills and prepare for the recruitment process effectively.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure at our college is impressive. The labs are equipped with computers and software necessary for programming and artificial intelligence. Classrooms are spacious and furnished with modern teaching aids like smart boards. The library is well stocked with a wide range of books and digital resources that support both theoretical and practical learning. Regarding hostel facilities the college provides decent accommodation with clean rooms and proper maintenance. The quality of food served in the mess and canteen is good with hygiene standards being satisfactorily maintained. The campus includes medical facilities and sports facilities such as playgrounds and indoor games.
Faculty: The faculty members are highly qualified and experienced. They are very helpful and make sure to clarify our doubts patiently. The teaching quality is good, with a focus on both theoretical and practical applications. The curriculum is regularly updated to keep pace with the latest industry trends, making the course relevant and helpful for students to become job ready. It strikes a good balance between core computer Science topics and emerging areas like AI and machine learning. Semester exams are moderately difficult. The pass percentage is generally around 70 to 90%, which reflects the effective teaching methodologies and support from faculty.
Other: I chose this course because of its good reputation in engineering education and consistent placement records. The course provided a strong foundation which helped me understand core concepts clearly. The college organizes events like tech fests and workshops that help in overall personality development. The campus has good connectivity and a supportive environment. Scholarships and extracurricular activities such as sports and debating societies are available to encourage holistic growth. One area that could improve is increasing collaboration with more product based companies for placements and internships. Also, more hands on project work from the early semesters would make students more industry ready.
