MSIT has concluded the placement drive for 2024. The highest and lowest packages offered stood at INR 50 LPA and INR 2.5 LPA to the graduating batch of MSIT in placements 2024. The second highest package was provided by Flipkart which stood at INR 2.52.5 LPA. A total of 541 students secured placements during MSIT placements for the batch of 2024. Review of Maharaja Surajmal Institute of Technology.

Placements: In our college, students are mandated to average their CGPA above 8.0 because students are not eligible to sit for the placement drive if their CGPA is less than 8.0. Microsoft, ION, TCS, etc. All companies visit our college for the placement drive.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is not bad but is good because the college building is like a horror thriller since the building is very old. The interior is well maintained in our college. Overall reviews for infrastructure are the best. No Wi-Fi is provided in classes except in labs. The library is available.

Faculty: The faculty is very friendly with students and always there for any type of help. They help in getting placements. The third year is normally complex because it is all based on technical study related to software and hardware, including coding, machine learning, and all that.

Bad infrastructure, average placements (non dependable)

Placements: Not very nice placements. Cannot be depended upon. Better work yourself for placement and jobs, as the placements shown by the college on their site are not real. One must work on their own for better jobs. Work and get placed off campus. As per 2025.

Infrastructure: Bad infrastructure. The building itself looks weird. No AC in classrooms. You get absolutely cooked in summers, and for hostel students it's even worse. Light cuts off at night for several hours in peak summer. Washrooms are not good.

Faculty: The teachers are generally nice. Not much problem with the faculty. If you attend regularly, you might actually understand the subject; else study online. The semester exams are okay. Boards kind of checking and you can score in theory. Internals are still in the hands of your teacher.

A concise view of our college.

Placements: I am in my second year right now, and I have concerns. I have realized that placements are just average here, as are many of the students. Around 70 percent goes with mass recruiters at a package of 3.75 LPA. Although the packages are typically lower, as I have heard about the recession of 2021 (which crashed the job markets), our college is doing well.

Infrastructure: This college is not as good as the main campus. Although there are many labs, they are not optimal, as the computers here are really very slow, and the interior is not too good either. And to make everything worse, the classes aren't air-conditioned either, which sometimes makes it so difficult.

Faculty: The teachers here are really very kind and supportive, with good teaching skills. They cover the syllabus very finely, but talk about the skills. Everyone should do it on their own because colleges don't give you skills. You will learn to manage time here as you will frequently face the exams here, i.e., in a sem (6 months), around (1.5 -2 months is off), in the remaining 4 months you will cover practical files, assignments, mid sem 1, mid sem 2, internal practical, external practical, and end sem.

Other: It is a fine college, as the crowd here is really good. Unlike many colleges, here the students are studious and calm.

As a student, I am satisfied with my college.

Placements: The college is average in the placements. Currently, the placement is kind of average, not good. At last, if you are good at studies, and you maintain a 9 CGPA approximately, definitely you can grab the placement with a minimum package of 5-6 Lacs CTC.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is not good, but well-maintained. The campus area is small but enough for you to enjoy after taking admission. The hostel is very small, the whole capacity for student stay is very low, only 200-250 students can stay in the hostel.

Faculty: Many of the teachers is good. The behaviour of teachers to the student is good and faculty members is very helpful. The exam curriculum is also good like a semester is to be 4 months, in every semester they takes two times mid semester exams per semester.

Other: It is one of the BEAT colleges of IP University, and also one of the best in Delhi. Campus life is normal, not too good campus area is small, there is no AC in the classroom, and there is no Wi-Fi on campus. There is congestion due to a large crowd.

MSIT: Great ROI and placement.

Placements: Placements are the strongest point of MSIT and the main reason why most students join here, because of placements and location. For the 2025 batch, placements are around 70-80 percent. The highest package is around 36 LPA. But most students also get an off-campus offer. Like for the current 2026 batch, 1 student got placed in Zomato off-campus. The average package is around 7 LPA-8 LPA, which is better than most of the other private colleges. The majority of positions offered are for Java developers and the MERN stack. Some companies like ION and TCS visit every year, they get quality students.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is a mixed bag. The official campus is about 8 acres, but it doesn't feel like it. Classrooms are decent but lack the AC, which makes it tough to attend classes on the top floor in the summer. Every classroom has a projector and charging ports. Labs are fully AC-enabled and have very good working systems with proper internet connectivity. A great number of books are available, a system for students with high-speed internet, and the Book Bank, which issues books for the whole semester. So, no need to visit the library again and again. Canteen food is just okay.

Faculty: Faculty members are good. Some Professors are genuinely knowledgeable and helpful if you approach them. College management is strict for 75 percent attendance, but unofficially, there is no problem if attendance is above 60 percent. The curriculum is affiliated with GGSIPU, so it is a bit outdated. However, they offer minor specialisation in AILM if you choose in the 3rd year. You have to make efforts to be industry-ready. Semester exams are not very difficult. You easily score above 7.5 SGPA by studying form notes and PYQs. So the passing rate is very high.

Other: Campus life is simple. Students mostly focus on skills and academics. But we also have societies like M.Sc. Geek Room, IEEE (technical), Octave (music ), and others. The best thing is to get plenty of time for skills improvement. Avensis (tech fest), Enve (cultural fest), and Anugoonj (main fest in the university are conducted. Most of the students are from Delhi, but it's a top college in ipu. So students are SMART and competitive. MSIT has great connectivity from both bus and metro. B.Tech fees is around 7 lacs, plus 4 for hostels. Total 11 kacs for 4 years. Great ROI.

A good college, as it provides good placements, and the faculty is also good.

Placements: Almost 80% of students are placed in CSE department, and the highest package is 20 LPA offered by SaaS Labs, the lowest package is 3.6 LPA, and average package is around 7 LPA. The top companies are ZS Associate, Veersa Technology, Infosys, etc. For internship, it is not directly provided by college, it depends on the company whether they want to give full-time role along with internship or not. The top roles offered were SDE, Data analytics, BTSA, DAA, etc.

Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure are average, like labs are okay, which means Wi-Fi is available, but printers are not up to the mark. Library is good, you will get all the books you want. The classroom is not up to the Surajmal standard. Talking about the hostel, I am not a hosteller, so I can't say much about that, but as far as I know, it is average like other hostels. Canteen is good in Surajmal. I personally liked it, but sports facilities are below par.

Faculty: Almost all the teachers are helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is great as they use a projector to explain different types of topics. Talking about the course curriculum, it is not totally irrelevant, it's great, especially the subjects of 5th semester, which are directly helpful for the placements and the semester exams in college are pretty easy, I guess. Just go through the pyqs. The passing percentage in semester exam is pretty good, almost more than 95% pass the exam easily.
