Review of Maharaja Surajmal Institute of Technology.

Faculty: Teachers here are helpful, knowledgeable, qualified, and nice, except for a few teachers. Semester exams are easily scorable and never too difficult (33% passing criteria). The course curriculum is relevant, and the subjects do help you in your advanced career choices.

An average college with good academics but boring campus life.

Faculty: The best part of MSIT is its academics. Teachers are knowledgeable and supportive. The teaching quality is good for almost all teachers, but some have limited knowledge. They are not able to explain it to students. Lab assistants are also helpful. Mid-term is easy, and we can easily score in it. End-semester exam is also not too hard because of the options, but questions are of a good level. The main problem is that they are still teaching DSA in C, so it is somehow difficult to handle C for col...

It is a good college in Delhi-NCR with good placement records and a decent college life.

Faculty: Faculty members are good and knowledgeable. The college is affiliated with GGSIPU, so the curriculum is also good. Exams are usually just mid-semester (twice) and the semester exams. The course is relevant to the needs which are required by the recruiters. We can gain good skills from our college itself.

Review of MSIT of 2019 pass out of the ECE stream.

Faculty: Teachers are some okay, some very bad. Curriculum based on IP University. Exam checking is loose; long paragraphs mean more marks. Hard checking pressures the student for deeper study so that students will understand things more clearly because of the fear of passing.

If you have a choice other than this, don't come to MSIT.

Faculty: The curriculum is similar to most colleges and follows the IPU syllabus, which is not very industry-oriented. It focuses more on theory than practical, job-ready skills. The teachers are decent overall; some are supportive and helpful, while others are average. Semester exams are manageable and not very difficult, with a passing requirement of around 40 percent.

Dissatisfied because of the poor infrastructure, no co curricular activities, and poor placements.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, they are qualified and have deep knowledge about their subjects. The teaching quality is great. The course curriculum is totally irrelevant and does not make the students industry-ready. The semester exams are very easy, and the passing percentage is 40.

Campus size is too small, but placements and college are decent.

Faculty: Teachers teach well and no classes get cancelled. Teachers do their job sincerely and come on time to class. The course curriculum is relevant and makes students ready for the industry, and opportunities are there. Overall, it is average, and most students pass.

Infra needs to get better. Rest college is good.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful and qualified, but not that knowledgeable. Teaching quality is okay, the course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students industry-ready. Passing the exam is very easy, checking marks are very easy, and you can easily score well just by learning the night before.

Decent college, just dissatisfied with the infrastructure.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful and qualified, but not that knowledgeable, and some of them hold grudges with students for no reason. Overall, teaching is average, not that good. The course is relevant to the curriculum. Semester exams are not difficult and can be easily passed by studying even the night before.

Decent and value-for-money college.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful. They help you and genuinely understand your concerns. The curriculum is up to date and better than most universities, and it is very relevant. The semester exams are not very hard, and they are curriculum-relevant and easy to pass, as only 40 out of 100 marks are required to pass.

MIST is simply the NIT of GSSIPU.

Faculty: The faculty varies a lot depending on your batch. I unfortunately have a very soul-crushing set of teachers. A few of them are good, but you can count them on two fingers. The syllabus is easy for the most part. You can easily cover your entire syllabus by yourself.

The infrastructure is of a school type.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful and PhD holders. They have theoretical knowledge, but practical or industrial knowledge might be lacking. The CSE course curriculum is slightly similar, but we have to develop skills by ourselves because it is more theoretical. It is helpful if we are preparing for GATE CSE or ISRO CSE. Semester exams are easy if we start studying 20 days before. The Pass percentage is more than 95 percent. In internal marks, out of 40, we can get more than 32 marks easily.

Good academics and placement, strong connectivity, and campus life.

Faculty: Teachers of MSITs are helpful, well-qualified, and knowledgeable in their subjects. Most faculty members support students through doubt, sessions, mentoring, and practical guidance. The teaching qualities are good with a balanced mix of theory and hands-on learning. The curriculum is mostly relevant and covers fundamentals and advanced topics helping students build a strong technical base. Extra self-practice is needed to be industry-ready. Semester exams are moderately difficult and follow the ...

Experience of a freshman.

Faculty: Faculty is qualified on paper, but not so good at actually teaching. We're taught a few subjects in the first year that would be useless in our field. Course curricula are outdated and need some changes. Exams aren't very difficult and are quite easy to pass.

Moreover, both institutes accept valid scores from JEE Mains/IPU CET for admission to BTech courses.
