MIST is simply the NIT of GSSIPU.

Faculty: The faculty varies a lot depending on your batch. I unfortunately have a very soul-crushing set of teachers. A few of them are good, but you can count them on two fingers. The syllabus is easy for the most part. You can easily cover your entire syllabus by yourself.

The infrastructure is of a school type.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful and PhD holders. They have theoretical knowledge, but practical or industrial knowledge might be lacking. The CSE course curriculum is slightly similar, but we have to develop skills by ourselves because it is more theoretical. It is helpful if we are preparing for GATE CSE or ISRO CSE. Semester exams are easy if we start studying 20 days before. The Pass percentage is more than 95 percent. In internal marks, out of 40, we can get more than 32 marks easily.

Maharaja Surajmal Institute of Technology is a good college.

Faculty: The teachers are dedicated to teaching and teach well. The exams are usually up to mark, and study material is provided through book banks. The college definitely makes sure to teach you well.

Experience of a freshman.

Faculty: Faculty is qualified on paper, but not so good at actually teaching. We're taught a few subjects in the first year that would be useless in our field. Course curricula are outdated and need some changes. Exams aren't very difficult and are quite easy to pass.

Review of Maharaja Surajmal Institute of Technology.

Faculty: The faculty is very friendly with students and always there for any type of help. They help in getting placements. The third year is normally complex because it is all based on technical study related to software and hardware, including coding, machine learning, and all that.

Bad infrastructure, average placements (non dependable)

Faculty: The teachers are generally nice. Not much problem with the faculty. If you attend regularly, you might actually understand the subject; else study online. The semester exams are okay. Boards kind of checking and you can score in theory. Internals are still in the hands of your teacher.

A concise view of our college.

Faculty: The teachers here are really very kind and supportive, with good teaching skills. They cover the syllabus very finely, but talk about the skills. Everyone should do it on their own because colleges don't give you skills. You will learn to manage time here as you will frequently face the exams here, i.e., in a sem (6 months), around (1.5 -2 months is off), in the remaining 4 months you will cover practical files, assignments, mid sem 1, mid sem 2, internal practical, external practical, and end s...

As a student, I am satisfied with my college.

Faculty: Many of the teachers is good. The behaviour of teachers to the student is good and faculty members is very helpful. The exam curriculum is also good like a semester is to be 4 months, in every semester they takes two times mid semester exams per semester.

MSIT: Great ROI and placement.

Faculty: Faculty members are good. Some Professors are genuinely knowledgeable and helpful if you approach them. College management is strict for 75 percent attendance, but unofficially, there is no problem if attendance is above 60 percent. The curriculum is affiliated with GGSIPU, so it is a bit outdated. However, they offer minor specialisation in AILM if you choose in the 3rd year. You have to make efforts to be industry-ready. Semester exams are not very difficult. You easily score above 7.5 SGPA by...

A good college, as it provides good placements, and the faculty is also good.

Faculty: Almost all the teachers are helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is great as they use a projector to explain different types of topics. Talking about the course curriculum, it is not totally irrelevant, it's great, especially the subjects of 5th semester, which are directly helpful for the placements and the semester exams in college are pretty easy, I guess. Just go through the pyqs. The passing percentage in semester exam is pretty good, almost more than 95% pass the exam eas...

Adequate education with significant infrastructure challenges.

Faculty: The teachers are very helpful, they are qualified and have deep knowledge about their subjects. The teaching quality is great. The course curriculum is totally irrelevant and doesn't make the students industry-ready. The semester exams are very easy, and the passing percentage is 40 percent.

The college is good, with decent placements & infrastructure. College life depends entirely on you.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and knowledgeable. The course is mostly relevant but slightly outdated. However, it does make students industry-ready. The semester exams are moderately difficult. So if you study the notes properly and start two weeks before the exams, you can score full marks.

Good crowd, good faculty members, average placements, bad infrastructure.

Faculty: The faculty here is experienced and supportive. You can get the feel of school teachers from them sometimes, but they are very good in providing lectures, notes, pyqs and other supportive material. The curriculum is well structured, it's not like a burden.

Moreover, both institutes accept valid scores from JEE Mains/IPU CET for admission to BTech courses.
