It gave me the best memories in my life.
Placements: Only 40-50% of students get placement in the campus drive. Packages start from 2.2 LPA to 4 LPA, varying from company to company. TCS and Tootsi are some of the companies that participate in the campus placement drive at this college. There are rarely any internship opportunities offered throughout the course.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is adequate with lift facilities, a library, and classes in average condition. There are surfing computers available in the library. Gymkhana is available with indoor sports like carrom and table tennis. The canteen is available weak.
Faculty: The faculty is great with highly educated teachers. They teach us thoroughly and make sure that each concept is understood by all. The curriculum was okay and it gives basic job-oriented skills. The exams were moderate with the passing marks allocated by Mumbai University.
Other: The crowd of campus is okay with watchmen patrolling the area. It never gets too crowded. There are some events that are organized in college each year, like sports festivals and a very big event that happens annually.

Maharashtra College as it is.
Placements: Only 40-50% of students get placements in the campus drive. Packages start from 2.2 LPA to 4 LPA, varying from company to company. TCS and Tootsi are some of the companies that participate in the campus placement drive at this college. There are rarely any internship opportunities offered throughout the course.
Infrastructure: The faculty is average; it can't be said it's one of the best but it's manageable. Classrooms are compact with a shortage of seats for students. All labs and classrooms are air-conditioned (only in the IT&CS Department building). The canteen is the worst aspect of the college with little to no room for students as it should be compared to the entire college.
Faculty: The teachers are well qualified for their respective roles and classes. The course itself doesn't make students industry-ready as the syllabus provided by the university isn't at an industry level. The semester exams are above average; they are not very difficult, but one can fail if not taken seriously.

College with a passion for studies.
Placements: The courses are superb and the recruiting companies are small but offer good salaries. The average package offered by the companies is about 5 to 6 LPA. A minimum of 55 to 60% of students got internships in different companies like chartered accountants or banks.
Infrastructure: The library is quite good with glass shelves, and they created the classroom with noise breakers. It doesn't matter what's happening outside, we cannot hear anything inside the library. The space in the library and canteen is also good, with different types of food.
Faculty: Teachers quite good with extra knowledge, but they are strict. As we know, teachers are quite strict, they always tell us about the identity card. In the exam hall, there are always 2 to 3 teachers for students to watch or clear doubts. Students are always prepared for the future.

Review of Maharashtra College
Placements: 89% of students received placements in companies such as TCS, Wipro, Toothsi, and Skinsi. The roles were junior web developer and quality analyst; some were marketing jobs as well. I went through a bachelor's in IT, so I mostly looked for technical roles. Overall, it was a good placement drive conducted by our college.
Infrastructure: There were many such facilities in the college, such as WiFi access that was available. We had classrooms in all the classes, and the labs were well-managed and organized with good-quality chairs. There were all kinds of devices and PCs for us to operate on. We could get hands-on experience. We live in a hostel because I live in my house.
Faculty: To be honest, from the IT faculty, the teachers were not so good and guided the students well, especially the HOD of our IT department, who was not at all helpful with our project submissions. Also, the exams were easy regarding the syllabus; it was good for us to be industry-ready, but it did build foundation courses for us.
Other: I chose a BSc in information and technology because getting into a technical field and backend technology services would increase the syllabus relevance to the modern and updated technology world. Foundation building is necessary, but we need to be updated with modern technologies as well. We had Parvaaz Fest because it had everything from the technical department to the elective department as well.

Faculty and staff are great, everything other than that is adequate.
Placements: There was internship camp set in the college, which included some banks and technical companies. The banking sector was the highest recruiting company for us. Around 50-65 students got the internships. The students can pursue higher education like CA and MBA after the course. Some companies recruit B.Com holders as well so there is adequate opportunities for course pursuers.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is adequate with lift facilities, library, and classes are in average condition. There are surfing computers available in library. Book bank facility is also available for students with weak financial background. Canteen is available with foods and beverages. Gymkhana is available with indoor sports like carrom and table tennis.
Faculty: The Faculty is great with highly educated teachers. They teach us thoroughly and make sure that each concept is understood by all. The curriculum was okay and it gives basic job oriented skills. The exams were moderate with the passing marks as allocated by Mumbai University.
Other: The course of B.Com is pursued by students who want to go high in their field. The crowd of campus is okay with Watchmen patrolling the area it never gets too crowded. There are some events that are organized in college each year, like sports festivals, and a very big event that happens annually.

Quality education and good opportunities.
Placements: I'm studying B.Sc., but the placement opportunities depend on the specialisation chosen (e.g., the college offers IT, Computer Science, and Chemistry). Approximately 40-50% of students are placed in relevant industries. The highest package of B.Sc. graduates ranges around 3-4 LPA, and the lowest is 2-2.5 LPA, with the average being approximately 3 LPA. Companies like Sun Pharmaceutical Ind., Divi's Lab, and other IT firms recruit frequently. Internships are available for around 10-20% of students with roles like lab assistant, etc.
Infrastructure: For this question, I would rate 4.5 out of 5 as our college has well-maintained labs such as Chemistry, Physics, Zoology, Biology, and Maths labs. The classrooms are spacious with basic amenities like projectors, etc. We have a library with a wide range of books and e-resources, and Wi-Fi is available across the campus but could be more consistent. Our college canteen serves hygienic and affordable food, and we also have medical facilities and sports amenities.
Faculty: The faculty of our department is experienced and approachable and also gives us guidance even beyond academics. The curriculum is practical-oriented and updated regularly to meet academic and industry standards. The semester exams are moderately challenging but are fair, with most students passing. Our teachers ensure that we are well-prepared through lectures, assignments, and internal assessments.
Other: I chose B.Sc. because I have to build a strong foundation in Chemistry, and our college provides hands-on lab work. Faculty members are supportive, but the infrastructure could improve with more modern lab equipment and dedicated study space.
