I'm satisfied with college because of faculty members, good infrastructure, and facilities.

Placements: College offered good placements to students. They provide about 75% of placement for students. They assisted in student's internship and placement programs. College had tie up with many companies. About 60% of students secured internships from our college.

Infrastructure: College campus is very big and beautiful. It's fully Wi-Fi enabled. Classrooms are well-maintained and neat. They providing labs for every subjects like computer lab, physics lab, chemistry lab, etc. There is a canteen also inside the college.

Faculty: Faculty members in our college are very friendly to students. They are very helpful in exams. Faculty members teach according to the course curriculum. Faculty members teaching quality is good and easily understandable. Semester exams are much more difficult because of Calicut University.

Absolutely satisfied college life, good faculties, and overall really good experience.

Placements: In our college, they didn't support placements. We are the recent pass-out batch from our college. They provided an opportunity for placement, which was a job fair. But most of the companies joined for promotional purposes. In the end, only a very few number of students got jobs with at least a salary package. I think they didn't promote more genuine placement offers. Most of the students joined internships after college in a private internship company. The IT companies offer various job roles like full stack developer, DevOps engineer, software engineer, etc., for B.Sc. Computer Science or BCA students.

Infrastructure: If I talk about facilities, our college provides advanced IT computer labs, smart classrooms, and also promotes communities, programs, etc. They provide WiFi support too. I think they are providing the best facilities to students and are improving their entire infrastructure day by day. Now, our college is autonomous.

Faculty: If I mention the faculty, they are excellent at teaching students. However, some of the faculty are limited in knowledge and aren't skillful enough to prepare students for the present industry. Anyway, they are trying hard to make improvements. The course curriculum is less relevant because it follows an old syllabus that isn't updated with the new era or new technologies. The exams are not too difficult to pass if we study well, but the pass percentage is only 12% and 18% in respective subjects.

Other: The course provides maximum job opportunities in the present IT industry, but the industry is more competitive now. Anyway, B.Sc. Computer Science is best to achieve basic to advanced IT knowledge. I wish to improve or update the syllabus to include more relevant topics so that students can achieve at least basic IT jobs. I'm completely satisfied with college life, including events, fests, programs, the college crowd, friends, connections, campus surroundings, ambiance, scholarships, extracurricular activities, and communities too.

Review of Majlis Arts and Science College (Autonomous).

Placements: Many companies and institutions approach the college for placements and internships. Many students get placed through campus placements. The college also provides placement assistance. Around 30 percent of students get placements and internships through the college.

Infrastructure: Majlis Arts and Science College has smart classrooms with individual smart TVs, projectors, and internet connections in every class. The college has a good canteen and vending machines. Computer labs and other laboratories are fully equipped. The library is well maintained. Gym facilities are also available.

Faculty: All teachers are experienced and well educated. They are friendly and supportive towards students. Semester exams are moderate and not very difficult. The teaching quality is good. Teachers use projectors while teaching.

Other: Majlis Arts and Science College is an autonomous college under University of Calicut. It is considered one of the best self-financing colleges under the university. The college offers 17 UG programs and 8 PG programs. Many programs and events like College Day, Union Day, Farewell Day, arts, sports, and cultural programs are conducted regularly. Several clubs such as NSS, IEDC, YRC, and Nature Club are active in the college.
