Manipal Center for European Studies Highlights 2024
Positioned within the Faculty of Humanities, Liberal Arts and Social Sciences, the Manipal Centre for European Studies (MCES) is a distinct centre that provides a multidisciplinary platform for knowledge through its innovative study programmes, research activities and outreach programmes aimed at fostering intellectual connect between India and Europe. Funded by the Delegation of the European Union to India, the centre was established in 2009 with the vision of fostering an India-EU educational connection.
MCES offers MA in European Studies - a flagship post-graduate program tailored to provide a comprehensive understanding of Europe and its various institutions from a multidisciplinary perspective. Students study a part of the program at Manipal and at European partner universities. Since 2013, all Master's students at MCES have been selected for full/ partial scholarships to pursue their second year of studies in Europe.
