Disappointing experience, average curriculum, subpar infrastructure, faculty with limited expertise.
Placements: My experience with the programme was disappointing. While the internship was provided by manipal hospital there was no support from faculty and no placements offered after completion. To make matters worse, Diploma holders perform the same tasks as us and are paid a similar amount which undermines the value of this programme. The lack of guidance throughout the process made it frustrating and productive experience. I expected much more from such reputed institution.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is extremely disappointing One classroom is provided for all students, both undergraduate and postgraduate, leading to overcrowded and a lack of proper facilities. There is no Wi-Fi available The only saving race is the main library which deserves the 4 stars for its excellent facilities and resources.
Faculty: The faculty was not of much help and severely understaffed with hardly 4 staff members to handle all the undergraduate students, including the postgraduate, while not many lack knowledge, most of them were not as knowledgeable as expected, the teaching quality could have been significantly improved. The curriculum was average and could have been designed better on the bright side the exams were fairly easy to pass. Overall, the academic experience was underwhelming and left much to be desired.
