NO, the admissions in MSAP are entrance-based. In some courses, the college offers direct admission based on the last qualifying exam. In courses, such as BArch, BDes students must take give entrance test to get shortlisted in both courses. The college offers direct admission for BDes lateral entry in both streams. They are also offered direct admission in MDes, M.Arch and MA courses.

To get admission to Manipal School of Architecture and Planning, Applicants can apply through the official website of the Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE). The college offers both merit and entrance based admission depending on the course selection criteria. Some courses accept scores of different entrance exams.
