    Q:   What is the admission process at MSIT?
    A: 

    MSIT admissions 2024 are based on the candidate's scores in the respective entrance exams. In order to get admission, candidates must fulfill the minimum eligibility criteria & clear the respective selection rounds. Below is the step-wise MSIT admission process: 

    Step 1: The MSIT application process is conducted in online as well as offline modes. Candidates must apply through the counseling bodies' websites of respective courses using basic details such as personal and educational qualifications. Along with that, they have to pay an application fee for the respective course.

    Step 2: After filling out the application form, candidates have to appear for the respective entrance exam for MSIT course admissions. The shortlisted candidates must appear for further counseling rounds for the respective courses. The institute might conduct a PI round for a few courses.

    Step 3: After the completion of all the selection rounds, shortlisted candidates as per the merit lists will get admission to the respective courses. Students who get their names on the merit list are then requested to visit the institute for reporting, upload documents, and pay the admission fee to confirm their seats.

    MBA department of Meghnad Saha Institute of Technology.
    Placements: Overall good. Authorities conduct many placement drives for the students, though many of them are pool Campusing. But intelligent students can grab the opportunities too easily. As the college under Techno India Group, the brand group organise many Campusing for students from all techno colleges.
    Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good. Classrooms of MBA department are air conditioned. Besides this classrooms are consists of projector along with the smart board and also a whiteboard. Rooms are also spacious. Library and computer lab room are also very good.
    Faculty: As the college is under west Bengal technical board, that is MAKAUT, the courses are also followed by the mentioned syllabus by the board. Though every B.Tech departments have own permanent faculty, but in MBA department some faculty members are invited for taking special classes as guests.
    Other: The whole college campus is free Wi-Fi zone. MBA department campus is in saltlake Sec V area which is also very good location. Campus buildings are like corporate office.

    Other: MSIT is located just by the HIT College and is at a convenient location of Kolkata. The faculty members of this college are very helpful and hardworking. Campus life is awesome, and the infrastructure is very good. Fees structure is moderate but it provides a quality education to all its students. Moreover MSIT is also one of the best colleges of Bengal in terms of placement.

    Other: MSIT is best known to be the second best college of TI group and they had to earn it . With the number of high quality students passing out every year it has made a huge name in the area of placements .The only thing lacking is the administration and the faculty . Administration is as poor as it could be and faculty is only present for people who are in their good books which is only a very few .Get into msit if you want to be part of the IT giants like TCS,Infosys .If you have other dreams work hard for your JEE exams.

The college has excellent placement records, it falls under techno group. The college has seven departments, most of the faculty are PhD, and some are highly educated. They also have field experience. The college provides excellent canteen facility.

    Other: This college is good for few streams only. If you're looking for infrastructures and facilities, you should look somewhere else. The library is good though. The faculty members are helpful. Placements are good for few streams. The roads to the college are not good at all and you need to get on motor vans to reach the college. Everything else is fine.

    With 82.57 percentile and Delhi home quota, CSE in MAIT/MSIT is almost impossible. For general quota CSE, MAIT closing rank is around 47–48k and MSIT home state around 109k. Spot round chances are super slim at this rank.
