MBA department of Meghnad Saha Institute of Technology.

Placements: Overall good. Authorities conduct many placement drives for the students, though many of them are pool Campusing. But intelligent students can grab the opportunities too easily. As the college under Techno India Group, the brand group organise many Campusing for students from all techno colleges.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good. Classrooms of MBA department are air conditioned. Besides this classrooms are consists of projector along with the smart board and also a whiteboard. Rooms are also spacious. Library and computer lab room are also very good.

Faculty: As the college is under west Bengal technical board, that is MAKAUT, the courses are also followed by the mentioned syllabus by the board. Though every B.Tech departments have own permanent faculty, but in MBA department some faculty members are invited for taking special classes as guests.

Other: The whole college campus is free Wi-Fi zone. MBA department campus is in saltlake Sec V area which is also very good location. Campus buildings are like corporate office.

Other: MSIT is located just by the HIT College and is at a convenient location of Kolkata. The faculty members of this college are very helpful and hardworking. Campus life is awesome, and the infrastructure is very good. Fees structure is moderate but it provides a quality education to all its students. Moreover MSIT is also one of the best colleges of Bengal in terms of placement.

Other: College campus is well maintained. Lab and equipments are sufficient for quality learning. One of the major problem is that it does not have any playground. Last year campus placement percentage was approximately 75%. Recruiting companies are Tcs, infosys, ibs, idea cellular, zycus.

Other: MSIT is best known to be the second best college of TI group and they had to earn it . With the number of high quality students passing out every year it has made a huge name in the area of placements .The only thing lacking is the administration and the faculty . Administration is as poor as it could be and faculty is only present for people who are in their good books which is only a very few .Get into msit if you want to be part of the IT giants like TCS,Infosys .If you have other dreams work hard for your JEE exams.

Other: It's a good college, excellent infrastructure. Teachers are especially able to give us good knowledge. They are helpful. They review our points of views. They are friendly. The college has excellent placement records, it falls under techno group. The college has seven departments, most of the faculty are PhD, and some are highly educated. They also have field experience. The college provides excellent canteen facility.

Other: This college is good for few streams only. If you're looking for infrastructures and facilities, you should look somewhere else. The library is good though. The faculty members are helpful. Placements are good for few streams. The roads to the college are not good at all and you need to get on motor vans to reach the college. Everything else is fine.

Other: Meghnad saha institute of technology is located near ruby more, south Kolkata. The location of this college is pretty much odd and students comes from district like howrah Hooghly or north Kolkata faces problem reaching there. You have to go to the college by van and no other option is available right now from ruby. Many students get in there because of techno India banner of this college. This college is known mainly by civil engineering students. Mechanical department 1st batch will pass out this year so, we don't know how will be the campus placements. In terms of money the college charges more than any other college of its category. And the most important part faculty members. Some are good and some are bad. Requires 75 percent attendance for sitting in semester exams. By the way faculty members are above average slightly. Here is the big disadvantage is campus is very small, only buildings are there no playground. For social development it takes students about 10k rank holders in wbjee and civil, however for other engineering streams rank goes much higher. Overall it's a good college but you can't enjoy your college life if you choose here.
