Review of Meri College of Engineering and Technology - MERI CET.

Placements: Placements are good in our college. It depends on students. The highest salary package offered for the B.Tech course is 14 LPA. Top roles are offered to B.Tech students.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is average. Wi-Fi is not available on campus. The hostel is only for girls. Boys have to search the hostel themselves. Our canteen is very costly.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful. Semester exams are average. The pass percentage is 35%. The teaching quality is good. Most of the teachers are friendly and well-educated.

Other: Our college offers many courses like B.Tech, M.Tech, BA, MA, MBA, etc. All faculty members are very good.

Not satisfied with the faculty. Good placements in CSE last year.

Placements: The percentage of placed students in civil engineering course is about 10%. The packages range from 7-8 Lacs per annum. The highest package is 12-14 LPA, and companies are also not from the core branch. Either TCS or any other CS company comes for placement.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is average. The place is very big but it is not so safe. The classroom and lab facilities are good as there are very less number of students in the college.

Faculty: The teachers are helpful. Very less teachers are available in our branch, like 2-3 staff members are only available for the whole branch. The teachers are not so qualified as they them have not cleared any of the big exams in their respected field.

Other: There are high chances of well settled life as a civil engineer by working on skills and knowledge. The branch is connected with environment.

Value for money, not good college or campus life.

Placements: Placement for core branches are not so good. If you are from IT or CSE branch, then you will definitely get placed. If you are from any core branch like civil, mechanical, or electrical, you have to suffer a bit to get placed.

Infrastructure: The campus has all the required facilities. There is a library, which is big enough. Wi-Fi is provided all over the campus. Labs with all the required apparatus is available. Hostel facility is not available.

Faculty: Faculties are moderate. There are staffs, who are highly qualified and have good knowledge, and there are also staffs, with zero knowledge on the subject.

Review of academic environment and learning at MERI-CET

Placements: The placement scenario at MERI-CET was moderate. Around 60–70% of eligible students from core branches like CSE, ECE, and Mechanical got placed in our batch. The highest package offered was around 6 LPA, and the average package ranges between 2.5-3.5 LPA. The lowest package was approximately 2 LPA.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure at MERI-CET was decent and functional. The college had a spacious campus with separate buildings for each department. Classrooms were equipped with projectors and whiteboards. There was a well-stocked library with academic and reference materials. Computer labs were available with good internet connectivity.

Faculty: Faculty members at MERI-CET were generally supportive and approachable. Most professors were qualified. They had a good understanding of their subjects, especially in the core engineering branches like CSE and ECE. Some faculty members went beyond textbooks and tried to provide real-world insights. However, other faculty members stuck to a more theoretical approach.

Other: Choosing MERI was one of the best decisions. The interactive classroom sessions, industry-driven curriculum, and skill-based workshops prepared me for real-world challenges. The exposure to guest lectures, seminars, and entrepreneurship programs helped me develop critical thinking and leadership qualities. MERI truly provided a holistic educational environment focused on growth, innovation, and opportunity.
