There is no tension about ragging because staff is supportive. Placements are excellent.

Placements: I don't personally know much about placements, but according to my seniors, the average package is around 12–14 LPA. Many students also get internship opportunities because we have an in-built hospital, so there is no need to go elsewhere. There are 27 students in my D.Pharm first-year class.

Infrastructure: Facilities at my college are top-notch. There is a lift for students, but no Wi-Fi. The classrooms are air-conditioned, and we have a basketball court and a big football ground with goalposts. Food is not provided free of cost, so we have to buy it, but there is no compromise on quality and hygiene.

Faculty: Teachers have been very helpful so far. As I am in my first year, I can say that they give students full attention and are well-qualified. The course also helps make students industry-ready. My college is autonomous, so the question papers are a little tough, but the passing marks are low. Since the papers contain questions with different mark distributions, I cannot mention the exact passing marks.

Other: I chose this course because I am weak in Mathematics and good at Chemistry, so I avoided engineering. The crowd in our department is gradually decreasing, while other departments have more students. There are not many fests and events at this college. One negative point is that we cannot bunk classes because of tight security. There are fewer holidays compared to other colleges.
