Review of Microtek Institute of Information Technology.

Placements: Almost 70-75% of students got placed in our course. The lowest salary package offered ranges from 2 LPA to 2.5 LPA. The average salary package offered was 3.5 LPA. The highest salary package offered ranges from 5.5 LPA to 6 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Infosys, Wipro, Utkarsh Finance, and many service-based companies visit our campus for recruitment. Our college does not provide internships for students.

Infrastructure: Our college has two branches i.e, Maladhiya and the other one in Lanka. This college consists of 4 floors in the Maladhiya branch. Most of the classrooms can hold up to 100 students but 150 students can adjust. Our classrooms are well-maintained. Washrooms are also average. There is no physical library available for students but they provide a digital library for students. Around 50-60 computers are available on our campus. Wi-Fi is also available. There is no canteen on campus.

Faculty: Our teachers are average, and they do not explain the subject in depth. They just try to complete the course present in the syllabus, and also our syllabus is outdated. It also does not make students industry-ready. Our college conducts semester exams in the respective affiliated universities, and there are two universities affiliated with Microtek one is Vidyapith and the other one is Purvanchal University. Semester exams are not tough. If students study a week before exams then they can score good marks.

Other: I wanted to switch my stream from commerce to computer science, and my parents did not allow me to study outside my hometown so I chose this college. It is the only college in Varanasi that is affiliated with Purvanchal University.
