The minimum eligibility criteria for MIT SICS BA course is as follows:
- Class 12 passed out students in any discipline and from any recognised board or Diploma (10 + 3) passed students from any recognised technical board with a minimum of 50% for general /open category candidates.

MITSICS studying in batch AY 2023-24 has not appeared for exams yet. Apart from this MIT has started the guidance centre for UPSC before establishing the School. Several students of MIT qualified for UPSC. Some of them are Shri Varun Kumar Baranwal (IAS), Rohan Botre (IPS), Madhuri Garud (IRS).
