The eligibility criteria for the admission to MIT SICS MA- Administration course is as mentioned below:
- Graduate in any discipline from any recognised / statutory University or Institute with minimum 50% for candidates belonging to the General/open category.
- 5% relaxation in case of backward class categories and a person with disability belonging to Maharashtra state candidates only.
- For Foreign students the Maharashtra State Government rules will be applicable.
- A candidate who has completed a qualifying degree from any Foreign University must obtain an equivalence certificate from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) and need to be verified from AIU by the candidate before seeking admission for the programme.

MITSICS studying in batch AY 2023-24 has not appeared for exams yet. Apart from this MIT has started the guidance centre for UPSC before establishing the School. Several students of MIT qualified for UPSC. Some of them are Shri Varun Kumar Baranwal (IAS), Rohan Botre (IPS), Madhuri Garud (IRS).
