Value for money in Nursing.
Placements: The Mittal College of Nursing has good placements. The mittal has maximum placements in Ajmer city. The students who have graduated from Mittal College of Nursing are also selected for AIIMS and many more government positions. Staff selection involves competitive exams like the CHO.
Infrastructure: The college building of Mittal College of Nursing is on three floors and has around 10 lecture halls, 2 auditoriums, a library, 4 practical labs, and a computer lab. The hostel facility in the Mittal College of Nursing is also good, but the food in the hostel is not good.
Faculty: The faculty at Mittal College of Nursing is good enough but not perfect. Some teachers are M.Sc. nursing graduates, but some of them are not M.Sc. graduates. The exams for the B.Sc. nursing course are conducted by RUHS University, Shipra Path, Jaipur.
Other: The rules and regulations are very strict at Mittal College of Nursing. The students are not allowed to keep beards.

B.Sc. in Nursing - Batch of 2025
3.6
5Placements2Infrastructure3Faculty3Crowd & Campus Life5Value for Money
I am absolutely dissatisfied because of faculty members, infrastructure, and rules.
Placements: The percentage of students getting placed after graduation depends on their goals. If you want to be a nurse, there are 100% chances of getting placed. Some pursue other government opportunities after graduation. Honestly, the packages offered are not at all good. As a teacher, you will make approximately Rs. 8000 to Rs. 10,000 per month. It depends on your experience. As a fresher in a hospital, you will get Rs. 7000 to Rs. 12,000 a month. If you choose to leave offers from the college itself, you can get better offers honestly. If it is job security, you are secure. If it's money, then it's not a good choice. If it is your passion for nursing, then go for it. There are no placements from outside hospitals. Mittal College of Nursing has its own hospital, which is one of the biggest hospitals in Ajmer. After graduation, you have three options: teach at the college, work as a nurse at Gheesibai Memorial Mittal Hospital & Research Centre, or go out and find work on your own. Since the internship is part of our course itself, all students can do an internship at Gheesibai Memorial Mittal Hospital & Research Centre. You can only get a job as a nursing assistant at first. You can get better pay and promotions with experience. You can choose to be a teacher. Working conditions will not be as hard as for a nurse, but pay will be comparatively lower. There are other opportunities you can explore.
Infrastructure: Facilities and Infrastructure are not good at all in Mittal College of Nursing. We don't have Wi-Fi. We are not yet allowed to be in the laboratory, and it's already been 3 months. We are informed there will be no nutrition practical. Classrooms are spacious, well-lit, and have the proper seat arrangement. There is a problem with fans, but you can open your windows. For the number of students, washrooms are quite low in numbers. The library is decent. There are common rooms for girls and boys. The girls' common room doesn't have any fans. Hostels are only available for boys. A mess is available for boys. No canteen as of yet. There is no hostel or living accommodation for girls on the college campus. But girls can find PG near the college. There are lots of PGs for girls around the college. There is no medical room. There are very few sports facilities available in college. The college is decent, but the campus is really bad.
Faculty: Faculty members of Anatomy and Physiology, Nutrition, and Practical Nursing are good. They know what they are teaching and doing. One bad thing about them is that they are teaching for marks and not for the sake of learning. They are not enthusiastic about their subjects, and so lectures are boring. Faculty members for the theory of fundamentals of nursing, psychology, and microbiology are not good. They don't know what they are teaching. The college doesn't have permanent biochemistry faculty. The course curriculum is quite relevant. If you work hard in your classes, you will get good marks. You will get industry-ready since there will be lots of practical exposure. Semester exams are decent enough. Study hard and you will get through with flying colors. Many students fail due to hardship in connecting with the English curriculum.
Other: Honestly, I am not interested in medicine anymore, but I like science subjects. My parents wanted me to be here. So I am here. But I am not really biased. The best thing about my course is that if you are someone who is interested in taking care of people, then it's a top-notch opportunity for you. You will get to take care of patients. You will feel satisfied after a long day of work when a mother thanks you for taking care of her and her child. I wish the system of teaching had changed. I don't like studying for marks and assignments. I wish there were more vacations. We hardly get any holidays. There is a campus crowd, and all the seniors are helpful. The campus is quite small, smaller than our last school. The college is in a part of the city that is quite remote. There is no traffic here. There are not a lot of active urban settlements around the college. There are no scholarships. No extracurricular activities. Rules are really strict in college. Some rules are dumb. Girls have to wear only Alwar kurtas, no makeup, and no open hair. Boys have to wear formal wear every day and shave regularly. You can get rusticated for a month if teachers find your mobiles. Taking leave is really hard. You have to tell the college every time you take a leave and give an application. Your parents are contacted every time you take a leave. It is like a school. But they don't have good teachers or facilities. But if you want job security, then don't hesitate to join it.
