I am satisfied with the faculty members but not with placement.
Placements: The placement ratio of our B.Tech course in our college is 50 percent. Placement cell is not active. The highest package is 10 LPA on campus. The lowest is 3 LPA and the average is 4.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Wipro, QSpider, Ecospace, Infosys, HCL, etc.
Infrastructure: There are two academic buildings one is old and one is new. All the facilities are provided by the state government. There is a proper lab, Wi-Fi working properly, and also a central library. There are 3 boys' hostels in our college and two girls' hostels. There are also faculty quarters.
Faculty: Faculty members are well educated and qualified. They have all passed the BPSC examination to join the college. Also they have completed their studies from IITs and NITs. The course curriculum is old. It does not make you industry-ready. Semester exams are not very hard and are easy to pass.

It is the best government college at a low budget. Students can take admission here.
Placements: In this branch, many students got placed. I suggest everyone to take this branch. The top recruiting company in this college is TCS. It is a small company, but many students got placed and started their career from there.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of this college is also well. It has 3 boys' hostels and 2 girls' hostels, along with 2 faculty or staff quarters. It has 2 academic buildings, one is old and another is new. All hostels and the campus are fully Wi-Fi accessed. It has 2 temples also and a green campus.
Faculty: All faculty members are good and well-educated. They have good knowledge about their respective subjects. The course curriculum of this college is good but not excellent. It is hard enough because we should maintain our CGPA to overcome year back. This is the only problem. They teach very well.
Other: Events are conducted from time to time, and they are well-organised. It is also not too much crowded. The college has well-maintained decorum.

Really good infrastructure and facilities with average placements.
Placements: Only placement here is off-campus. Average packages in such cases are 3.5 LPA. The highest they have gone for is around 7 LPA - 9 LPA. On campus ones are companies that only appear to have you selected, with no confirmation about the future like no offer letters.
Infrastructure: Campus is completely Wi-Fi connected. Labs are of high quality with all required resources available. All subject laboratories run daily. Classrooms have proper lighting and ventilation. They have smart boards in all rooms for better teaching. Library access is available to all students. You can carry books home or study in library itself.
Faculty: Faculty members are selected meticulously, so of course they are knowledgeable. Classes are conducted daily and hence syllabus is completed on time. Bihar Engineering University has started updating the syllabus as per modern requirements. Semester exams are conducted very fairly, no cheating during exams. But for copy checking, well amazing.

Good college with negligible fee and decent placement.
Placements: In my college, there simply is no such placement occurring. Some sales companies also mark their presence there and select a few students. The placement ratio is very poor, with only 20% of students getting placed here. The off-campus placement scenario is better; approximately 45% of students in the IT sector got placed last year. The highest package is 9 LPA, and the lowest is 3.5 LPA, with an average of 5.5 LPA. The top companies include TCS, Ecospace Pvt. Ltd., Rinex, and QSpider. Only 5% of students secure internships from here, which is quite poor.
Infrastructure: This college is spread across 48 acres of land. It's not huge, but it's a decent size. There are two academic buildings; one is very old, while the other is quite nice. There are three hostels on campus. The college provides good facilities, and all classrooms, libraries, and labs are fully air-conditioned. Wi-Fi is available throughout the campus. Various sports are played here, including volleyball, table tennis, football, and cricket. In the hostel, almost all facilities are available, including geysers, lifts, and Wi-Fi, covering all basic needs. The mess is decent.
Faculty: All the teachers are well-qualified. The majority of the faculty is helpful, though exceptions do exist. Every teacher tries their best to give 100%, but the TPO here is rude. Regarding the curriculum, it can sometimes feel outdated; however, the syllabus has been changed and will be implemented next year, so the new curriculum looks promising. The semester exams are tough, but I believe future engineers handle them well. Approximately 90% of students pass the exams.
Other: Firstly, it’s a government college, so the fees are negligible. Thus, the return on investment is very good. If placements improve, there wouldn't be any major issues left, in my opinion. There are 2 to 3 festivals organized every year, such as Umang, Prakram, REET, and many others. Connectivity from the main road is an issue, but it’s a minor one. There are no specific scholarships available, but normal scholarships like PMS and the Bihar Student Credit Card are accessible.

My opinion about Motihari Engineering College, Motihari.
Placements: Around 60-70 percent of students got placed in our course. The highest salary package from our college reached around 13 LPA for both our branch and computer science engineering. Top recruiting companies for our course include Godrej, Ashok Leyland, HPCL, BHEL, ACC, and many others. Almost all students in our course have secured internships at various companies such as ACC, working in different roles and on various projects.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure for our course at Motihari Engineering College are quite good. Mechanical Engineering is one of the most popular courses offered here. Our classrooms are well-equipped with smart boards, lighting and fans and some even have air conditioning. Wi-Fi is available throughout the campus and there is a large library on-site. The quality of food served in the hostels is average and hygiene is not well-maintained. Medical facilities are not available on campus. The college has an ambulance for emergencies.
Faculty: Our faculty members are knowledgeable and well-qualified in their respective subjects. They are polite and helpful with both academic and non-academic issues. The teaching quality is generally good. Although some new faculty members may need improvement. The course curriculum is somewhat outdated and lacks relevance for industry readiness, as it misses important topics and knowledge about new technologies primarily focusing on older technologies. Semester exams are quite challenging, with only about 70 - 80 percent of students passing.
Other: I chose this course because I have had an innovative mindset since childhood. I love machines and am eager to learn about new technologies and machinery. Through this course, I have the opportunity to innovate for society and gain insights into new technologies. I believe topics like AI and ML should be integrated into the mechanical engineering curriculum, along with real-life projects to upgrade student learning. Our college organizes various events such as Umang, Prakaram, engineers' day, Saraswati puja and Independence Day in which students actively participate and enjoy. Scholarships are available, including NSP and PMS options.

A genuine review of my college.
Placements: Only 50-60% of students got placements in my course. Companies like Wipro, CDAC, Infosys, TCS, and HCL visit our campus for campus placements. The highest salary package offered in our college is 12.4 LPA, and the average salary package offered is 4 LPA. In our college, placements happen only in upper branches like CSE, AI, and EEE with different job roles. Only 60% of students got internships in companies like TCS, Flipkart, Amazon, and DRDO.
Infrastructure: All facilities are available in our department like Wi-Fi, well-organised lab with all the essential equipment, classrooms with smartboards and some with air-conditioners, a library, etc. In the hostel, all the requirements are being filled like gysers, water coolers, cupboards, beds, study tables, and chairs for each student who stays in the hostel. Sports, indoor game facilities, and a gym are also present in the hostel.
Faculty: Faculty members are very helpful, knowledgeable, and qualified from top colleges like IITs and NITs. They teach us very well and help with non-academic problems also. In my view, the course curriculum is relevant and it makes us industry-ready because in our college they are always changing their curriculum with new technologies and knowledge which helps a lot in making us industry-ready. Semester exams are very tough and to maintain our CGPA we have to study throughout the semesters. About 70% of students pass the exams.
Other: I chose this course because I have a lot of interest in new gadgets and electronic devices. I am always curious about machines that is the main reason behind choosing this branch. In my branch, the course curriculum should have more new technologies and gadgets and their knowledge might be added, so we get more knowledge. It also helps us to get a good placement in our course. There is an annual fest named Umang held in November month every year for around 10 to 12 days in which lots of sports and cultural activities are held.
