I am satisfied with this college because of its facilities.
Placements: Around 30-40% of students got placed in our course. The highest salary package offered is 6 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Syska, Mahindra, Tata, and Infosys. Almost 100% of students got internships in Mahindra, Bajaj, and Railway. Top roles offered are assistant engineer, inspection engineer, executive engineer, and junior engineer.
Infrastructure: Our college provides good facilities. Labs are well-maintained. Our college is Wi-Fi enabled. Our college buildings are well-maintained. Classrooms are smart. The hostel facilities are not good. The food served in the hostel is not good. Medical facilities are not available in our college. Sports and games are conducted by seniors.
Faculty: All teachers are well-qualified. They are Ph.D. holders, but they don't teach us well. Semester exams are difficult. The pass percentage is 30%. Many students fail because semester exams are difficult. Internal marks are very important, but our faculty members don't give us internal marks. It is a government college.

A Review of Motihari College of Engineering.
Placements: Around 70-90% of students got placed in our college. Placements depend on students' skills. The highest salary package offered is 6.89 LPA by NPCI. The lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA. The average salary package offered varies between 3.5 LPA - 4 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Hexaware, Wipro, Infosys, etc. Around 98% of students got internships in this course as it is in the syllabus also. Our college provides a better interface for internships and training of students.
Infrastructure: This college is in developing mode, so we have many facilities like labs. Classrooms have digital smart boards. We have labs, but this college needs to improve by adding modern machines in the laboratory like CNC machines. The condition of the library is not satisfactory, and there are limited books. The reading room is not available for day scholars. Many equipment and machines are not in good condition. The maintenance of the hostel is not satisfactory, and many washrooms need maintenance. They do not provide general medicines. Washrooms are average. The food served in the hostel is average. Medical facilities are not good. We don't have enough sports equipment, though we can play many games. A canteen is not available in this college.
Faculty: Semester exams are tough. The questions are difficult, so many students score average marks. The schedule is hectic, so we cannot prepare ourselves for the semester and industry. Many teachers are not interested in taking classes. They do not conduct laboratory classes.
Other: I want to become a DRDO scientist, so I chose this course. Funds are very low for events and fests. Faculty members, principals, and higher authorities should organize events like technical fests and extracurricular activities such as sports and cultural events. They should appreciate students for their achievements.

A genuine review of Motihari Engineering College.
Placements: Let’s begin with the main thing of any college, which is PLACEMENT. Yes, we have a placement cell in our college, which is helpful for students to get opportunities for placement or internships. But it can’t provide as many placements as students require because the number of companies visiting our college for placement drives is less. Only Infosys, Wipro, ACC, TCS, and a few other companies visit our college. They also have limited offers with somewhat low packages. That’s why the highest placement from our college is 13 LPA and the average is 3.2 LPA with different types of roles.
Infrastructure: The facilities in our mechanical department are better than in other branches because mechanical is the oldest branch being operated in our college. There is a huge workshop lab for the mechanical department and also many different types of core subject labs. Classrooms are well organized with smartboards, and fans, and some classrooms have air conditioning. There are average facilities in the hostel, but basic needs are being fulfilled. In the hostel, we have water coolers, geysers, almirahs, fans, etc., and they are working properly. The food given by our college mess is good.
Faculty: Our college faculty members are good enough because they are well-educated (some are Ph.D. holders from IITs or NITs) and have good knowledge of their subjects. They teach us very well. They help us with academic and non-academic problems as well. Currently, the course curriculum of our college is getting old and is not sufficient to make us ready for industries. Lots of improvements are required for better placements for students. Our semester exams are tough enough because only 70 percent of students pass their semester examinations.
Other: I chose this course because I have much interest in physical machines and automobiles. The best thing about our course is that it is totally based on real-life problems and their solutions. In our department, there is a lack of new technologies, and we are using old instruments for every task. New machines and technologies should be provided to us. There are many fests like UMANG (annual fest), Independence Day, Engineers Day, and many more sports and cultural fests organized in our college. There are lots of clubs available, but PRAKARAM (the sports club) is very active in our college. Scholarships like PMS and NSP are available for different students.

Best college of Bihar for engineering.
Placements: Placement is almost 100% in top branches like CSE. In the core branches like mechanical, civil, EEE has decent placement and result in competitive exams like GATE ESE, PSU etc. Is also satisfying. Even students of core branches are looking for the job in IT sector and they are good at this.
Infrastructure: College campus has good speed of free Wi-Fi. Labs are also very good infact this college has the biggest workshop for mechanical department among the Bihar engineering colleges. Classrooms are well maintained and clean. Library is also free for all students and it has good quality of books.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful. They are also well qualified some of them are Ph.D. from some good IITs and they have quite good knowledge of their field. Course curriculum is relevant and it makes students industry ready. Level of the semester exam is quite good. Pass percentage is almost 100%. .
Other: This college is just emerging. So the number of events, fests, extracurricular activities are also increasing.

My opinion about Motihari Engineering College, Motihari.
Placements: Around 60-70% of students got placed in our course. The highest salary package from our college reached around 13 LPA for both our branch and computer science engineering. Top recruiting companies for our course include Godrej, Ashok Leyland, HPCL, BHEL, ACC, and many others. Almost all students in our course have secured internships at various companies, such as ACC, working in different roles and on various projects.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure for our course at Motihari Engineering College are quite good. Mechanical Engineering is one of the most popular courses offered here. Our classrooms are well-equipped with smart boards, lighting, and fans, and some even have air conditioning. Wi-Fi is available throughout the campus, and there is a large library on-site. The quality of food served in the hostels is average, and hygiene is not well-maintained. Medical facilities are not available on campus. The college has an ambulance for emergencies.
Faculty: Our faculty members are knowledgeable and well-qualified in their respective subjects. They are polite and helpful with both academic and non-academic issues. The teaching quality is generally good. Although some new faculty members may need improvement. The course curriculum is somewhat outdated and lacks relevance for industry readiness, as it misses important topics and knowledge about new technologies, primarily focusing on older technologies. Semester exams are quite challenging, with only about 70 - 80% of students passing.
Other: I chose this course because I have had an innovative mindset since childhood. I love machines and am eager to learn about new technologies and machinery. Through this course, I have the opportunity to innovate for society and gain insights into new technologies. I believe topics like AI and ML should be integrated into the mechanical engineering curriculum, along with real-life projects to enhance student learning. Our college organizes various events such as Umang, Prakaram, engineers' day, Saraswati puja, and independence day, in which students actively participate and enjoy. Scholarships are available, including NSP and PMS options.
