Decent infrastructure and placements, but consistent faculty quality requires self-motivation.
Placements: Currently, only 20% of students are placed in good companies. The average package is 4 LPA. Companies include Capgemini and Cognizant. 90% of students have completed internships; some interns worked in software provided by Syboisys, and others in embedded systems, which is a good experience.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure at N. B. Navale Sinhgad College of Engineering, Solapur are quite good and well-maintained. Departments are equipped with spacious classrooms, high-speed Wi-Fi, modern labs with updated equipment, and a central library stocked with academic books, journals, and e-resources. The campus is clean and green, offering a peaceful learning environment. Hostels are located within the campus and provide decent rooms with good ventilation, regular water supply, and security. The mess provides average-quality food with a mix of vegetarian options, and the on-campus canteen offers basic snacks and meals at reasonable prices.
Faculty: Teachers at NBNSCOE are generally helpful and supportive, especially when it comes to guiding students through projects, technical events, and placements. Many of them are qualified with M.Teach or Ph.D. degrees, and some departments (like Computer Science) have more experienced faculty. However, a few students report that not all faculty are equally effective in teaching. Some are newly recruited or lack strong communication skills. This inconsistency leads to mixed teaching quality across departments. The curriculum follows the guidelines set by Solapur University and includes both theoretical and practical components.
Other: After computer engineering, electronic and telecommunication engineering is the best. That's why I chose electronic and telecommunication engineering. The umang is a very big event in our college.

Dissatisfied due to the facilities.
Placements: The placement of students has decreased. The average package is 3-4 LPA, and the highest is 13 LPA. Nearly all students get internships, but many of them are conditional. Many students, especially from non-CS/IT branches, find it difficult to secure core job opportunities through campus placements. While a few companies do visit, the number and variety of recruiters are quite limited, and the packages offered are often on the lower side compared to industry standards. The Training and Placement Cell (TPC) tries to organize placement drives, but the preparation and training provided could be more consistent and personalized.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available but the speed is slow; hostel food is below average, and the store should be closer to the college buildings. The toilets on the second-floor stink, and the canteen food is very bad, with a bad smell sometimes even while eating there; I have seen hostel people complain about the food.
Faculty: The curriculum is not relevant and needs to be changed. It doesn't make students industry-ready. Although some professors are good, some don't know how to teach or behave with students. They said there would be clubs, but they haven't started. Exams are easy, but many fail, and it's hilarious that the same students pass in rechecking.
Other: Fests are held every semester, and I chose this course because I wanted to enter the engineering domain. I wish more practical hours are given instead of theory, and practical sessions are carried out in a fun way.

It is the most amazing college in Solapur. Really good infrastructure, faculties, etc. are there.
Placements: 90% of students are placed at Sinhgad College. INR 13.5 lacs is the highest package, and INR 4.5 lacs is a medium package. INR 1.5 lakh is the lowest package. Wipro, Infosys, Tata, Intel, etc. are the recruiting companies. 40% of students got internships at Jio companies. Overall it is the best.
Infrastructure: The best facilities and infrastructure are available at Sinhgad College in Solapur. At this college, wi-fi is available on all campuses. Reading halls and labs are very big, as are classrooms. The college library is available to students. In the library, various books are available for exam preparation. Hostel facilities are average. In the hostel mess, average-quality foods are available. Last month, sports and games were conducted at the college.
Faculty: In this college, the best teachers are available to teach and guide. In this college, all teachers have Phds in various subjects. Yes, this course curriculum is relevant. And it makes the students industry-ready. A very difficult exam was conducted in the semester exam at this college. Pass percentage is 40%.

Review of N. B. Navale Sinhgad College of Engineering, Solapur.
Placements: In our college, almost 90% of students got placed. Recruiting companies like TCS, Cognizant, and Infosys visit the campus. Almost 40-50% of the students got placed on our campus. The highest salary package offered was around 3.5 LPA, while the lowest salary package offered was about 1.2 LPA. Almost all top companies in the IT field recruit students from our institute. Our institute does not provide internships.
Infrastructure: There are separate hostels for boys and girls. The anti-ragging mechanism is established. Round-the-clock security is available at all necessary places. Students are not allowed to be outside the hostel after 9.00 pm. Students are allowed to study in the library reading hall up to 11.00 pm. Students have easy access to stationery, laundry, and other basic shops available on the campus. Facilities like groceries, fruits, stationery, Xerox, fruit salad, milk, and all daily needs are available in shops.
Faculty: The course curriculum can be rated 8 out of 10 in Sinhgad Institute of Engineering. The course is of 4 years. They also conduct extracurricular activities and other activities. There are a total of 8 semesters, 2 semesters a year. The faculty can be rated 7 out of 10. All the faculty members are good. They co-operate with every student. They are always ready to give proper guidance.
Other: NBNCOE Solapur was established in 1996.

The college is good along with its infrastructure.
Placements: It is the best college not only in Maharashtra but in the entire nation. It is better than ICT, COEP, and VJTI. Students need more than 198 marks in MHT and CET to get admission. The average salary package offered is 87LPA which is better than any other college in India. average students do not get admission to this college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good in our college. The campus is very big there are several buildings each allotted for different departments. Some of the areas are closed due to pandemics. The college is taking care of Covid-19 things strictly. They are checking temperature, providing masks to the students who do not have them, use sanitizer whenever and wherever required. The laboratories, reading rooms, and classrooms are big and comfortable. Everything is systematically organised in this college, students will love the experience.
Faculty: Faculty members are highly qualified, and many teachers are M.tech and Ph.D. holders from good colleges. They provide an excellent teaching environment to the students, and also help in solving any problems face by the students. I would rate faculty members 7 out of 10. They are co-operating with every student and near about every faculty is present in this college. They are always ready to give proper guidance.
Other: I opted for this course, because of my interest in it. The course curriculum is good. I would rate 8 out of 10. In this college, the course is available for 4 years. They also provide extra curriculum activities and other activities. There is a total of 8 semesters, 2 semesters each year. The various events are celebrated like Engineering Day, DISTA, Teachers Day, Annual function, etc. All the events are very grand and most of the students participate in the events and everyone has a good memory.

Our college is located in a good place.
Placements: In our college, almost 90% of the students got placed. Recruiting companies like TCS, Cognizant, and Infosys visit the campus. Almost 40%-50% of the students got placed from our campus. The highest salary package offered was around 3.5 LPA, while the lowest salary package offered was about 1.2 LPA. Almost all top companies in the IT field recruit students from our institute. Our institute does not provide internships. The problem here is the central campus system where all students from all branches participate in on-campus placements.
Infrastructure: Our college has good hostels, labs, and workshops. The staff is good and supportive. Labs, reading rooms, and classrooms are big and comfortable. Everything is systematically organised. Loved the experience of being here.
Faculty: It is a good college and has all the best faculty members. our teachers are helpful. Popular exams, colleges, programs & specialisations are identified using the student visits on Shiksha in the last 3 months. Scoring is on a relative scale from 0 to 100, where 100 signifies most visits to the respective colleges, courses, or exams and 50 signifies half as many visits. Teaching faculty overall experience is quite good. I would give 4/5. Practical orientation is excellent.
Other: In our college, events like Dista and Prayog are held.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of the faculty, placements, and teaching in 2016-2019 batch.
Placements: Only 2-4% of the students are placed. The highest salary package offered is 4 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 2.2 LPA. The average salary package offered is 2.4 LPA. Accenture and Cognizant are the top recruiters. Role of an associate software engineer is offered. The highest salary package offered in our course is 4 LPA. The lowest salary package offered in our course is 2.2 LPA. The average salary package offered in our course is 2.5 LPA. Only 3-4% of the students got internships. Actually something else has happened at college. Almost 80% of the students got an offer letter for their jobs, but we didn't get the joining letter when students inquired for these issues, and it is found that those companies were fake. It was not a direct placement from the company, and it was from a third-party consultancy. They wasted our 2-3 months after the exam because we were waiting for our join, and that was the worst ever happened in my life. This college has given low internal marks due to some students and teacher issues.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure was quite good, and labs were provided properly. Everything was good about the infrastructure. But there was an issue with the library. They keep doors closed during the lectures, but some of us don't have our lectures, so it was hard to complete our assignments and all things. I didn't opt for the college hostel.
Faculty: Not all the teachers were helpful, and some of them had ego problems. If they had some issues with students in the past, they don't even talk to you when you have a problem. It was the main reason to hate college because of faculty. Only some of them were knowledgeable. They didn't make our batch industry-ready, and that's why we are still searching for jobs even after 6 months.
Other: I was interested in working in E&TC field, and that's why I have chosen this course. The best thing about the course is that you get new things to learn every day because it's a growing field. There is always something new every day. I think it's perfect, and they should add industry-related things in the syllabus. Events, fest, campus crowd, all things are good. This college focused on these things mainly.

It is the good and best college.
Placements: My college will provide the best placements from MNCs. Many students got placed in my college. It is a great college for placements, but the companies do not come to our college, we have to go Pune Sinhgad College and Pandhrpur for every company placement.
Infrastructure: My college has great speed of Wi-Fi facility. The labs are fully utilised, and developed infrastructure is very beautiful, I have not seen in past. The college has a great infrastructure. Many books are there in the library, and the hostels are also good. In our college, the hostel rooms are great.
Faculty: The faculty are very brilliant. They provide good, deep knowledge and good for basic knowledge. Our teachers will give very basic knowledge. They will teach extra classes, and they take many numbers of tests.
Other: They organise many numbers of events.
