Good placements and helpful faculty members.
Placements: Still, my friends are placed, approximately 25% of students got placed. The highest salary is Rs. 10,000, the lowest is Rs. 4,000, and the average is Rs. 5,000. The top companies are like TCS, Red Hat, Infosys, Wipro, Hitachi, and many more companies are coming to our college, and again, there are still companies waiting for students to respond. Basic coders and developers.
Infrastructure: In the campus hostel, the mess and library facilities are available. The library is open and available for 24 hours for hostel students. Wi-Fi facilities are available in the hostel in campus. Also, Wi-Fi is 10 GB per day per student user ID, and a password is allocated during admission.
Faculty: The teachers are qualified and supportive, with good subject knowledge. The curriculum is mostly industry-relevant, though extra skills help. Exams are moderate in difficulty, and the pass percentage is high. Overall, the college provides solid learning and career preparation.
Other: I'm from the 2023-27 CSE batch. I chose this course for my interest in coding and career scope. The best part is the supportive faculty, labs, and placements. Needs more focus on AI & the latest tech. The campus has good fests, crowd, scholarships, and extracurricular activities.

Low budget having opportunity but have to be selfmade .
Placements: There are opportunities for placement, and companies are available in the college. So far, lots of companies come and go. But the reason is the level of companies to pass, getting into the company is a bit difficult. Those who have trained themselves very well might get placed.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available in both the college and hostel, and the hostel infrastructure is good. In one room, there are 4 persons, with washrooms and toilets attached to that room. It is great to have unlimited Wi-Fi in the hostel room, as well as having good infrastructure, which may bring benefits.
Faculty: Teacher faculty is somehow mid-level; some are good, while some are just understandable. You have to do it by yourself, but they may guide you in studies, exam difficulties, etc. To pass the exam, you have to get at least 28 out of 70 marks in the written exam, and the POE is different, it depends on the subject.

Dissatisfied due to the facilities.
Placements: The placement of students has decreased. The average package is 3-4 LPA, and the highest is 13 LPA. Nearly all students get internships, but many of them are conditional. Many students, especially from non-CS/IT branches, find it difficult to secure core job opportunities through campus placements. While a few companies do visit, the number and variety of recruiters are quite limited, and the packages offered are often on the lower side compared to industry standards. The Training and Placement Cell (TPC) tries to organize placement drives, but the preparation and training provided could be more consistent and personalized.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available but the speed is slow; hostel food is below average, and the store should be closer to the college buildings. The toilets on the second-floor stink, and the canteen food is very bad, with a bad smell sometimes even while eating there; I have seen hostel people complain about the food.
Faculty: The curriculum is not relevant and needs to be changed. It doesn't make students industry-ready. Although some professors are good, some don't know how to teach or behave with students. They said there would be clubs, but they haven't started. Exams are easy, but many fail, and it's hilarious that the same students pass in rechecking.
Other: Fests are held every semester, and I chose this course because I wanted to enter the engineering domain. I wish more practical hours are given instead of theory, and practical sessions are carried out in a fun way.

Decent infrastructure and placements, but consistent faculty quality requires self-motivation.
Placements: Currently, only 20% of students are placed in good companies. The average package is 4 LPA. Companies include Capgemini and Cognizant. 90% of students have completed internships; some interns worked in software provided by Syboisys, and others in embedded systems, which is a good experience.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure at N. B. Navale Sinhgad College of Engineering, Solapur are quite good and well-maintained. Departments are equipped with spacious classrooms, high-speed Wi-Fi, modern labs with updated equipment, and a central library stocked with academic books, journals, and e-resources. The campus is clean and green, offering a peaceful learning environment. Hostels are located within the campus and provide decent rooms with good ventilation, regular water supply, and security. The mess provides average-quality food with a mix of vegetarian options, and the on-campus canteen offers basic snacks and meals at reasonable prices.
Faculty: Teachers at NBNSCOE are generally helpful and supportive, especially when it comes to guiding students through projects, technical events, and placements. Many of them are qualified with M.Teach or Ph.D. degrees, and some departments (like Computer Science) have more experienced faculty. However, a few students report that not all faculty are equally effective in teaching. Some are newly recruited or lack strong communication skills. This inconsistency leads to mixed teaching quality across departments. The curriculum follows the guidelines set by Solapur University and includes both theoretical and practical components.
Other: After computer engineering, electronic and telecommunication engineering is the best. That's why I chose electronic and telecommunication engineering. The umang is a very big event in our college.

It is a tier 3 college.
Placements: There are centralised placements in all the Sinhgad College of Engineering. There are nice placement opportunities and students get placements in various companies like Infosys, Tech Mahindra, Amazon, Capgemini, TCS, HSBS, Tata Steel, Accenture, Flipkart, etc.
Infrastructure: I had a generally positive experience. The overall quality met my expectations, and there were several standout aspects that made it enjoyable. There were a few minor issues that could be improved. It didn't significantly affect the experience. It is clear that effort was put into making this a worthwhile option.
Faculty: Faculty members are not highly qualified but good at their subject. They provide technical knowledge. Our college has well-qualified HOD and staff members. Practical sessions are conducted regularly. They are friendly in college. It is a tier 3 college.
Other: The campus is not yet all developed. The college just has big building but most of them are under construction. If students want to join the college, then they can join as it is not that bad.

The college is average and has average placements.
Placements: About 70-80% of students get placed every year. There is a slight decrease. The highest salary is 15 LPA. The average salary is 4 LPA - 5 LPA. There are various opportunities and you get central placements by Sinhgad Institution in Pune. There are many companies like Infosys, Tata, Cognizant, Melon, and many more.
Infrastructure: The campus is good and it very big campus. We have every facility on the campus. The hostel is also average but do not like the food in the mess. But the hostel and mess fee is combined so you can't do anything about it. The campus is very far from Solapur city like 10 KM away.
Faculty: Teachers are good and qualified. They provide very good teaching and guidance. They are very interactive. To get industry ready we need to improve our skills. Solapur University exams are not that difficult to pass but you can score marks easily. The passing percentage I think is above 90-95%.
