A detailed review of Narasaraopet Institute of Technology.

Placements: There have been no companies coming to my college in the past 5 years. I had no information about my college when I joined. The highest package is 5 LPA. The lowest is 3 LPA. The average is 2.5 LPA. Presently, no companies are coming to my college to hire students. The internship will not be provided; we will study on our own and try to get internships.

Infrastructure: Facilities in my course were average, with the same old computer labs; there was no required software installed on our computers; there was no Wi-Fi facility; classrooms were average; and the library did not have new edition books. If we needed a subject book, we needed to take a minimum of three books on that particular subject. The hostel in our college was above average. The hostel is equipped with Wi-Fi, and the food in the hostel was good but the hostel fee was very high: 70,000 rupees for non-AC rooms and 75,000 rupees for AC rooms. The electricity bill for AC rooms should be paid by us.

Faculty: The faculty in our college was helpful in clearing queries during classes and they are qualified, but they don't have full knowledge about what they are teaching. No, this course is not relevant to the curriculum; it doesn't make students industry-ready. As it was affiliated with JNTUC, the semester exams were so difficult.

Other: Due to the future of this course, I chose it, but this college completely ripped me off. All things I wish to improve in our college.

It is the best college in Palanadu district.

Placements: Nearly 80 percentage of students have been placed in Narasaraopeta engineering college. Main companies are TCS, Cognizant, Infosys, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, etc. The highest package is 10 LPA and the lowest is 3.5 LPA. Placement training starts from 2nd year onwards.

Infrastructure: There is Wi-Fi in non-college hours at the hostel. Hostel's food is also good. Wi-Fi is available in the college. Nearly 9 volleyball courts are there, a big cricket ground, gym, basketball court, separate indoor stadium for both boys and girls are also available. Classrooms and labs are good.

Faculty: Faculty members are good. Many of the faculty members have Ph.D. and they have made many publications. Course curriculum is somewhat relevant. Semester exams are a bit difficult. Pass percentage is around 80 percentage. Teachers are helpful in solving our doubts. Teaching is the best.

Other: Many events and fests are conducting regularly.

I am satisfied with campus infrastructure, labs, good placements, and good faculty.

Placements: Around 120 students of our batch are in their 3rd year. There are some top MNCs that recruited our seniors. Around 40 to 50 students got selected with an average salary package of 3 LPA. The top recruiting company is Wipro. Internships were offered by some companies. Around 20% of students got internships. The top role offered is Junior system developer.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good. There is a central library with thousands of books. There are labs with better infrastructure and a good internet connection. Classrooms are quite good. Hostel has a good infrastructure. Hostel food is very good and hygienic. There is a medical room and medical kits in our labs. College has good grounds for sports but only one period for sports per week. There is a canteen with good food and good infrastructure.

Faculty: Our college is accredited by NBA for CSE and ECE. Faculty is very friendly with good teaching skills. All the teachers are well qualified with minimum M.Tech qualification. They are well knowledgeable in their perspective subject. The curriculum is made by JNTUK and the course is updated every year with the new technologies. Exams are not very tough to pass. Students need to focus on studies to pass as they were evaluated by JNTU. The pass percentage is around 75%.

Other: I chose this course because of my passion. The best thing is it is the future and it is the main thing in this world that changes technology. There should be the inclusion of new technologies that are new to the technological industry. Events like freshers and farewells are celebrated in a good environment. Fests are conducted regularly with the main inclusion of students ideas. Scholarships are provided by the government and if we need other scholarships then our college updates about scholarships on the notice board to check regularly. Students participate in many extracurricular activities.

If you have confidence in yourself, it would be the best college. Else it is worst than ever.

Placements: Some of our seniors got placed in well-known companies like Tek and Infosys with a salary package of around 4 LPA. It depends upon you and not completely on the college, either to get a job or to get placed on the campus.

Infrastructure: Our college has 4 computer labs for our CSE department with around 250 computers. There is a big library in our college with a decent book count, and it is large enough to accommodate around 150 people at a time. There is a formal Wi-Fi service which won't be that helpful.

Faculty: All staff members are not that efficient. If you don't understand any subject, then you have a lot of ways to get clarified, like YouTube videos and NPTEL courses. We have a decent number of well-experienced and teaching staff members.

For an average student, it is a decent college.

Placements: After Covid, Narasaraopeta Institute of Technology has a tremendous change in its infrastructure and academic plans for placements. They provide average guidance about campus recruitment training, internships and also workshops.

Infrastructure: Narasaraopeta Institute of Technology has a canteen with decent food, Xerox point, juice point, library with internet facility. Labs are large and have a lot of computers and air-conditioners. There are two drawing labs, 4-5 computer labs, and 2-3 embedded systems labs, and each lab has highly knowledgeable technicians.

Faculty: There are excellent teaching staff for the first-year students. The HODs have PhDs and all other teaching faculty have a minimum experience of their core subjects. Books available in the library will help you gain more knowledge of subjects and other areas.

Other: The college life at Narasaraopeta Institute of Technology is good.
