NID Vijayawada Admission Process 2025
NID Vijayawada admission 2025 is entrance-based. NID Vijaywada offers a full-time, four-year Bachelor of Design (BDes) with specialisation in Industrial Design, Communication Design, and Textile & Apparel Design. Admission to the BDes programme is granted on the basis of the Design and Aptitude Test (DAT) administered to all NIDs in major cities across the country.
The National Institute of Design (NID) is internationally known as one of the finest educational and research institutions for Industrial, Communication, and Textile Design. NID Vijayawada Admission 2025: Eligibility & Selection
The National Institute of Design, Vijayawada is open for admission 2025-26 to the BDes programme. Interested candidates seeking admission to NID, need to fulfill both age criteria and academic qualifications. For the General and EWS categories, only eligible candidates born on or after July 1, 2004, can apply for admission. NID Vijayawada Fees & Seats 2025

NID Vijayawada Seats Reservation 2025
The total number of seats for the BDes programme is divided into various categories including General Economically Weaker Section (EWS), OBC-Non Creamy Layer, SC, Person with Disability (PWD) etc. Students belonging to the *General category can avail of the seat reservations (10%) only if they belong EWS section and satisfy the conditions as MHRD, India. No, you cannot enrol directly in NID Vijayawada or the National Institute of Design in Andhra Pradesh. NID Vijayawada admits students through a two-stage admission test procedure. NID Vijayawada Application Process 2025
NID Vijayawada follows an online application process for admission. Eligible candidates can apply by filling out an application form on the official website of NID. Candidates need to follow the steps mentioned below:
Step 1: Sign up and log in to apply at the admission site of NID. Candidates need to provide a valid email address and mobile number for registration.
Step 2: Log in with the registered mobile to fill out the application form.
Step 3: Fill out the online application form with all the basic details like name, DOB, address, and gender, and then click on ‘save and proceed’ to proceed.
Step 4: Upload the documents in jpg/jpeg format as mentioned— a recent passport-size colored photograph (60 and 100 KB size), scanned signature (not exceeding 100 KB), caste certificate issued by a competent authority (not exceeding 150 KB).
Step 5: After uploading all documents, click on ‘save and proceed’ to pay the application fee online (debit/credit card) or offline (demand draft). You may also click on ‘save and exit’ to complete the form at a later date or time.
