National Institute of Design, Jorhat admission 2025 is open now. The institute offers BDes courses at the UG PG level. To get admission to NID, Jorhat candidates must meet the eligibility criteria set by the college. The National Institute of Design, Jorhat application process is conducted online. NID Jorhat's application process is online. The step-wise process to fill out the NID application form for admission 2025 is given below.
- Registration - Click on the registration link https://admissions.nid.edu/NIDA2024/Default.aspx. Select the program of study, and then fill in details like your name, email ID, mobile number, date of birth, etc. On successful registration, a unique applicant account will be created.
- Log in to fill out the form - You can log in to the account using your email ID and date of birth. Fill in all the required fields in the application form, including educational qualifications, contact details, and personal information.
- Upload documents - In the penultimate step, upload scanned copies of your signature, photograph, and category documents as per the specified format.

The application fee of NID DAT 2025 for the BDes for General, General-EWS, OBC-NCL candidates is INR 3,000. SC, ST, PwD candidates only ned to pay INR 1,500. However note that the application fees for overseas candidates seeking admission to supernumerary seats is INR 5000. In case of the M.Des programme, the application fees for General, General-EWS, OBC-NCL candidates applying for one discipline is INR 3,000. If two disciplines are chosen, the application fee is INR 6000. Meanwhile, SC, ST, PwD candidate need to pay INR 1,500 for one discipline, and INR 3000 for two disciplines.

There is no cap on the number of candidates who can appear for th NID DAT.
For 2025 admission, candidates can apply for admission and NID DAT. NID DAT was held in the month of January.

For the Bachelor of Design (B.Des) program, the National Institute of Design (NID) Jorhat has a thorough admissions procedure that is based on the NID Entrance Test (DAT). An essential assessment tool for determining an applicant's level of creativity, problem-solving, design thinking, and visual communication is the DAT. Exam content is divided into two sections:
- The timed multiple-choice DAT Prelims
- The written and practical DAT Mains, which include tasks involving drawing, modeling, and visualization.
Entry into NID Jorhat is through a multi-phase process. Candidates take part in DAT Prelims after registering online, and those who pass move on to DAT Mains. The DAT Mains shortlisted candidates move on to a studio exam where their design abilities, conceptual thinking, and capacity for both solo and group work are assessed.
