NIELIT Ropar Course Admissions 2025: Eligibility, Application Process, Fee

NIELIT Ropar admissions are conducted in online mode. Candidates need to visit the website of the institute to apply for admissions (student.nielit.gov.in). The step-wise application process is elaborated below:

1. Click on 'new user' and create an account with candidate's email ID and contact number
2. Enter personal details such as the candidate's name, gender, nationality, date of birth, etc.
3. Enter the correspondence address of the candidate
4. Update the academic details such as qualifications achieved, year of passing, name of the board/ university, etc.
5. Enter Aadhaar card number. In the absence of Aadhar, the candidate may submit the details of other official IDs such as PAN card, passport, driving license, etc.
6. Pay the application fee of Rs 500 and click on 'submit'

Documents required to be submitted with the NIELIT Ropar application form

Once the application number is generated, candidates need to log in again with their credentials and upload the following scanned documents:

• Passport-size photograph
• Class 10 certificate bearing date of birth
• Mark sheets and certificates of educational qualifications
• Adhaar card/ photo ID card

NIELIT Ropar offers Protsahan Puraskar Scheme for SC/ST/physically handicapped and female students pursuing NIELIT O/A/B/C level courses.

Eligibility for the scholarship:

• Candidates must clear the papers in the first attempt
• The income of the parents of the student from all sources should not be more than INR 1 LPA

A candidate has to apply for the Scholarship along with the following documents:

• Proof of registration/op-gradation
• Proof of passing the examination of the relevant level
• Proof of pursuing O/A/B/C level as full-time courses
• Proof of income
