We don’t sell degrees. We build careers.
Placements: Honestly speaking, I do not know the exact number of students placed in my course, but it is very low. Top companies that come to our college are TCS, Odoo, Wipro, etc. The highest package offered in our course is 15 LPA, the lowest package is 4 LPA, and the average package is approximately 3 LPA. The top roles offered in my course are Software Developer, Full-Stack Developer, Web Developer, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is decent but not as good as other colleges like Nirma and DAIICT. There is no Wi-Fi in the college. Classrooms are good and have air conditioning in both classrooms and labs, which is a good thing. The library is also very good. I am not living in the hostel, so I do not know much about it. The quality of food in the college canteen is good enough. Sports are promoted in other branches except the B.Tech branches.
Faculty: All faculty members are very good and friendly to students. They are well qualified and knowledgeable. The course curriculum is relevant, but you need to study more for advanced knowledge. They provide basic to moderate knowledge about the subject. Then you have to carry it forward yourself. A total of four exams, T1, T2, T3, and T4. The first three are of 25 marks each. The last one is of 50 marks. The passing marks are 35 out of 100.
Other: Honestly speaking, all B.Tech courses in this college follow the same curriculum till Sem 4. After the subjects change according to the selected course. There is a sports event every year and a fest every year, which allows students to enjoy college life along with their studies. There are no extracurricular activities in this college like other colleges.

Good placements in 2026 and a better option than other tier-3 colleges in terms of placements.
Placements: LJ Institute focuses a lot on academics. This year, about 71% of students get placed, and around 610 students secure placements. The highest package is 48 LPA, and the average package is 4 LPA. However, if you are above average (somewhere among the top 200 out of 900 students), the average package is around 6.5 LPA. For the top 100 students, it is around 8.2 LPA. Companies like TCS Prime, Odoo India, and Clear Quant recruit from the campus.
Infrastructure: LJ does not have a hostel for students. Students have to stay in PGs around the college, and many PGs are available nearby. The college does not have fascinating classrooms. They are average and more like school classrooms. All classrooms have basic air conditioning. There are enough computers in labs for students. The library is also average. The canteen is not that bad.
Faculty: Faculty members are experienced, and the curriculum is updated regularly. They focus on continuously improving the curriculum. They take feedback seriously and change faculty members if students request it. College does not have only mid-semester and end-semester exams. Instead, there are four exams in each semester. Every exam carries equal weightage for calculating CGPA/SPI. This helps students gain a better understanding of the curriculum. The pass percentage in each semester is around 85–90 percent. They are very strict regarding academics.
Other: The best thing about this college and course is the curriculum and academics. I wish they would improve the college infrastructure. They do not have many events and fests, and the crowd is average. The college is situated in Ahmedabad, so the connectivity is not bad. The nearest local bus station (BRTS/AMTS) is 1 km away, and the metro station is 7 km away. However, Uber services are easily available and quite good here. The college conducts one sports event every year, but it is usually held during vacations.

Read This Before You Take Admission in LJ University.
Placements: So, in this college, they say 99% placement. In reality, they consider an internship as a placement. The highest placement is 14 LPA, the lowest placement is 2.2 LPA, and the average package is 3.4 to 4.2 LPA. Top recruiters include TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Bosch, and Odoo. 98 percent of students get internships, but it is mostly unpaid and come with a bond of 1 to 2 years. Top roles offered are Software Developer, Java Developer, and Full Stack Developer.
Infrastructure: So first, there is no hostel in LJ University. You can find PG nearby. Now, the labs were good, the condition of computers was also pretty decent; in some classrooms, the air conditioning is poor, and the library is decent. There are no medical facilities. But they conduct events like sports, such as the LJ Cup.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful. They solve doubts within 24 hours. The way of teaching is good in LJ as compared to other tier-3 and tier-2 colleges. Their motto is to complete major courses within two years, and at the start of the third year, companies start to come for internship hiring. The semester exam is difficult as there are no theory questions in the exam. All questions are application-based, and you have to use your brain to get the answers.
Other: I chose this course because I want to explore computer and coding-related work. The best thing about my course is that there are no unnecessary subjects. One thing they can improve is to provide information about the value of teaching a subject at the start of the semester. Events were decent but not regular. Events were decent but not regular .

We don't sell degrees, we make careers.
Placements: The companies that come to our college for recruiting are TCS, Reliance, Cognizant, Wipro, etc. The percentage of students placed in our college is 85 percent as per online websites but it is actually lower than 85 percent. The highest package is 15 LPA, the lowest package is 1 LPA, and the average package is 3 LPA. The number of students who get internships from my course is less but the actual number is not known. Roles offered are Web development, Software engineer, Support Engineer, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is not as good as that of other colleges but it is better than that of Indus. There is no Wi-Fi available for students. Classrooms and labs are good enough to study and I have visited the library only once since admission. I am not staying in a hostel or PG so I don't have much idea about it but some of my friends are in a hostel and they said it is not that bad. The food in our canteen is good. Sports are given importance in other branches in our college but not in our branch.
Faculty: After completing two years of college I can say that the faculty is good and friendly and some faculty members also have knowledge about the real industry. The curriculum is good enough to get an internship. It makes students industry-ready to some extent. Instead of semester exams there are a total of 4 exams which come every month having 2 or 3 chapters per subject only. The first 3 exams are of 25 marks and the 4th one is of 50 marks. It makes it easy for students to pass the exams as there are not many chapters.
Other: I chose this course in this college because I was not getting my course in any other top colleges. The things that can be improved are the curriculum which should include AI as AI is booming all over the world. Escaype is the cultural fest in our college and Carpediem is the sports fest in our college.

Practical learning feel like school for first 4 semesters, but provide good knowledge for this tier.
Placements: Placements are average but acceptable for a college at this level. Around 65-70% of students get placed each year. Companies like WebOccult, Tatvasoft, Codefox, and some local startups regularly recruit students. Many students also get internships through the college or on their own. Roles offered include software development, web development, QA tester, and support engineer.
Infrastructure: Some labs are good, but due to the high student count and limited space, it often feels crowded. Though faculty manage it well. Classroom teaching is mostly traditional with whiteboards and markers, no projectors. There is no public Wi-Fi, and the library is average with basic resources. There is no hostel, but nearby PGs are easily available. The canteen is okay. I am not sure about medical support.
Faculty: The curriculum is designed by the college's university and is well-structured with a focus on practical knowledge and projects instead of theory or regular assignments. Faculty are average not too great, but not bad either. Some teach well, while others are average in communication or clarity. At the end of every semester, students give anonymous feedback on faculty performance through a form. One issue is that students get reshuffled every semester based on marks, so your classmates and group keep changing, which can be a bit convenient. Exams are mostly practical and manageable with regular study.
Other: I'm from the 2022-2026 computer science engineering batch. The best part of the course is the practical-based learning and project submissions instead of theory. It can be improved by avoiding student reshuffling every semester and organizing more technical events, workshops, and industry sessions. The college organizes some teaching events, cultural fests, and sports activities, but there is scope for more teach-focused events. One drawback is that daily attendance is sent to parents, which feels a bit like school and unnecessary at the college level. The campus is well-connected, the student crowd is decent, and scholarships are available for eligible students.

    The best college for studies.
Placements: 90% of students after the filter who appear for the interview get placed. They are filtered as per the requirements pre-defined by the college, and then they can apply to the companies as per the company's requirements. The minimum package is 3.2 LPA, the maximum is 11 LPA, and the average is 4.5 LPA.
Infrastructure: No hostel facilities are provided by the college, but the infrastructure is good, with quick responses to problems faced by the students. The labs are good, with all the essential things required. Wi-fi is provided on every PC in the college by Ethernet with a maximum speed, resulting in no obstructions. In case of an electricity cutoff, generators are always ready to be instantly activated, with no disturbance for students.
Faculty: The course is customized according to the latest market requirements, along with top-notch faculty members. Students learn the maximum in the minimum time period, which gives them a greater time for internships before graduation. Every student can apply to a limited number of companies that satisfy their choice.
Other: The college is student-entered rather than culture-entered, so the count of events is particularly rare. But, there are events related to study, like fests for projects, etc. The constant monitoring of my study results makes me feel pressure to perform more, which makes me perform better.
