IIT Gandhinagar BTech Courses & Fees 2026: Fees, Admission, Courses, Placements, Rankings, Cutoff

To apply for JEE Advanced, candidates need JEE Main application number and password. This means only the candidates who qualify JEE Main for JEE Advanced, cand apply. Candidates have to login on the JEE Advanced application portal with JEE Main application number and password. Candidates have to furnish some details in the registration form. JEE Main details in the form will be prefilled from the JEE Main database. Next candidates need to enter the scanned documents as per the specifications. IIT Gandhinagar - Indian Institute of Technology will release 6 rounds of JEE Advanced cutoffs for admission to B.Tech. The cutoffs will be released on a rolling basis, and the seats will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. The cutoffs will be based on the following factors:

Unless the candidate belongs to some other category or domicile, one can not afford to score less than this. The modes of IIT Gandhinagar admissions are online and offline. Admission to various postgraduate and undergraduate courses is based on merit and entrance exam scores. Accepted entrance exams are GATE, JEE Main, and JEE Advanced. Candidates must study GATE exam pattern, keep an eye on GATE exam date and GATE result. At the undergraduate level, the college offers four-year BTech courses to students in seven specialisations. At the postgraduate level, the college offers two-year MSc, MTech, M.A. And various other courses to students. Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar (IIT Gandhinagar) also provides Ph.D. and several online courses to students.

IIT Gandhinagar conducts the application process online. The step-wise application process is mentioned below:

1. Open the official website and register.
2. Fill in the required info and complete the registration.
3. Fill the detailed application form by providing information around educational qualifications, parents' details, address of communication and permanent address, and exam center preference.
4. Upload scanned images of passport-size photographs and signature.
5. Pay the application fee.
6. The application will be automatically submitted after the successful application amount payment.

Admission criteria to IIT Gandhinagar is both, merit and entrance based and is different for all UG and PG programmes. To get into UG programmes, the eligibility criteria is the minimum aggregate in Class 12 or equivalent, along with entrance exams. Similarly, the eligibility criteria to get into PG programmes is graduation in any discipline (this may vary from course to course), along with entrance exams for a few courses.

If any candidate is unable to receive the OTP while applying at IIT Gandhinagar, they should try resending or reloading the sent OTP.
