College offers decent academics with good placements. The infrastructure needs to be modified.
Placements: On our campus around 70 percent of students of mechanical engineering students got placed. The highest package is 8 LPA, the lowest is 3 LPA, while the average package remains 4.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Tata Advanced Systems, Infosys, Amazon, etc. Around 50 percent of students got internships in the steel plant and Hindustan Shipyard. Roles offered as Design Engineer, Quality Control, and Graduate Trainee Engineer.
Infrastructure: Drinking water is provided on campus and Wi-Fi is only available in computer labs. Labs are provided with machinery for the respective branches. Classrooms are limited so one of the sections of the class should rotate while the other section goes to the lab. The library is provided with all kinds of books belonging to all branches. The hostel is decent with 3 meals a day and snacks in the evening and the quality of food in the mess is good. There are no major medical facilities on campus and good facilities for conducting sports and games on campus.
Faculty: The teachers on campus are well-qualified and helpful. The teaching quality is good. The course curriculum is relevant with the industry and it makes students ready for the industrial exposure. Our semester exams are moderate because our college is autonomous. The pass percentage is about 70 percent.
Other: I chose this course because I wanted to become a Mechanical Engineer. The best thing is that the college is in an industrial hub like Visakhapatnam. Machinery in labs should be improved and the tuition fees should be decreased.

Good infrastructure and campus environment but limited core placements.
Placements: I'm from B.Tech Civil Engineering VIIT Visakhapatnam. Around 15 percent of students got placed. The highest package is 5.4 LPA, the lowest is 2.4 LPA, and the average package is 2.6 LPA. Recruiters include Milekal, Berger, NCC and Indian. Roles offered are mainly site engineer and GET positions.
Infrastructure: Civil Engineering classrooms and basic facilities are good but the lab equipment needs improvement. Wi-Fi works well on upper floors but is weak in labs and some ground-floor areas. The library is decent but it needs more authors' textbooks. Hostels, mess, canteen, medical facilities, sports, and games are satisfactory.
Faculty: Teaching quality is mixed. Many faculty members are knowledgeable, supportive, and help with GATE projects, seminars, and placements while a few lack clarity. The curriculum is relevant but needs more industry exposure. Semester exams are moderate and most students pass with regular preparation.
Other: I am a B.Tech Civil Engineering student from VIIT Visakhapatnam. I chose this course due to my interest in construction and infrastructure development. The course provides strong fundamentals in core civil engineering subjects. Technical events, cultural fests, sports, and extracurricular activities contribute to overall student development. The campus has good connectivity and a friendly environment. The department can improve by upgrading lab equipment, increasing industry exposure, offering more internships, and attracting more core Civil Engineering companies for placements.

I am satisfied with joining this college.
Placements: More than 80 percent of students get placed in our college every year. This year, a student got placed in Amazon with a package of 50 LPA. The lowest package is 3.8 LPA. The average package in our college is about 10 LPA. Many companies come to our college for recruiting, such as Amazon, Wipro, TCS, Accenture, and many more. I am studying in the Cybersecurity branch. Various roles like manager and web security are offered.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure available in our course and department are very good. Labs are neat and clean. Classrooms are well-maintained every day. The library is great. The quality of hostels are good, sometimes not perfect, but not bad.
Faculty: College teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Teaching is very good in many ways. Teachers act as invigilators during exam times and are very strict. Sometimes teachers give a chance for cheating in exams. Faculty members are good.
Other: I got the Cybersecurity branch through the EAMCET exam, and I was interested in that branch previously. By God’s grace, I got into this college, which is very near to my house. For sure, our college is great in fests and extracurricular activities, and scholarships are available in our college. Fests are conducted every year, and game tournaments are also conducted. Overall, it is a good college for students, and I am enjoying it.

Vignan VIIT Visakhapatnam - I'm satisfied with faculty and good placements.
Placements: About 65 percent of students from our batch got placed through campus drives which is decent if you've kept your skills and communication sharp. TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant, Accenture, and Capgemini are among the companies that visited our campus. The highest package is around 9 LPA while most offers landed between 3.5 LPA and 4 LPA.
Infrastructure: The department has well-equipped computer labs, digital classrooms, Wi-Fi, seminar halls, and a central library. Labs are accessible enough for practical work and project building. The hostel is decent security and maintenance is taken care of. Mess food is average not great but manageable.
Faculty: Most faculty members are experienced and approachable. They explain things clearly and stay involved during lab sessions and project work. The curriculum mixes theory with practical content and the college runs training programs and workshops fairly regularly. Semester exams are manageable if you prepare consistently. Pass rates are solid across most departments.
Other: I'm a lateral entry student, so I joined directly in the second year. I chose Information Technology because it felt like the safest bet for placements in this region and Vignan's reputation in Visakhapatnam made it an easy pick over some other private colleges. We spent a lot of time on theory that never showed up in any interview while topics like DSA, system design, and competitive programming were mostly self taught.

The Top roles offered in our course are software developer, data analytics, and technical support roles. Around 40-50 percent of students also received internship opportunities in companies related to software development, data analytics, software engineering, and technical support roles.
Infrastructure: The college provides good infrastructure facilities for students. Our department has labs with internet access, facilities, projectors in classrooms, seminar halls, and a library. Hostel facilities are average to good. Rooms are maintained regularly and basic facilities like water, electricity, and security are available. The quality of food in the mess is decent and manageable for students.
Faculty: The faculty members are helpful, qualified, and supportive towards students. Most of the teachers explain concepts clearly and encourage students during practical sessions and projects.
Other: I want to grow in IT and also to improve my technical skills. So i chose thisc ousre. The events are more exciting to participate, organise, and learn things from.

  1. 10th and 12th marks card.
  2. Transfer certificate.
  3. Id proof.
  4. Caste certificate (some colleges ask.)
  5. Birth certificate (some ask, makes no sense ik)
  6. Your alloted seat certificate if you're joining through an exam.

That's pretty much what I had to have for the admission process.
