NIFT entrance examination is Institutional based examination which will only help you to get into NIFT whereas UCEED is a common Entrance Examination which is accepted by many design colleges and universities. So if you plan to get into only NIFT then you do have to give NIFT Entrance Exam but if you plan to apply in many universities then UCEED is a better option as you'll have many university choices and you can get admission on the basis of UCEED score.

The National Institute of Fashion Technology offers B.Des and B.FTech courses at the undergraduate level. NIFT Delhi offers M.Des, MFM and M.FTech courses at the postgraduate level. NIFT Delhi is one of the top Design institutes in India. It is the only institute in India to be ranked on the list of top 20 Design colleges, internationally. Getting admission to NIFT Delhi is every aspirant's dream. However, only a few are able to get admission to NIFTs, as the NIFT entrance exam it is not very easy to crack it.
