National Institute of Fashion Technology has a centralised placement process across all its campuses. Companies can employ NIFT students from any course or campus through On-campus placement and Pre-placement offers. In On-campus placement process, companies register for campus placement on a respective date as mentioned in the campus placement schedule. NIFT entrance examination is Institutional based examination which will only help you to get into NIFT whereas UCEED is a common Entrance Examination which is accepted by many design colleges and universities. National Institute of Fashion Technology, Delhi gives various infrastructure facilities for the convenience of the students. Fully equipped labs, three seminar/ conference halls, a resource centre with more than 15,000 books, and a hostel with 200 beds etc. are some of the facilities.

The National Institute of Fashion Technology offers B.Des and B.FTech courses at the undergraduate level. NIFT Delhi offers M.Des, MFM and M.FTech courses at the postgraduate level. The National Instituite of Fashion Technology will release the NIFT 2026 at the time of seat allotment and counseling.

The cut-offs will be prepared by considering factors like the seat intake, the merit rank of candidates, admission category, etc. Note that if the seat intake is increase the cut-off would likely go down and vice versa.

National Institute of Fashion Technology admit candidates to MDes programme based on merit in the national-level design entrance test conducted by the institute. Candidates seeking admission to this PG course need to take part NIFT exam (CAT), which is conducted in offline mode. Candidate should check NIFT Entrance Exam pattern, preparation tips, and more.

The faculty at NIFT Delhi is well-educated and goal-oriented. Each of them hold a PhD degree in their respective field and is really helpful. National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) Delhi offers seat reservations to candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/GEN and PWD categories. Thus, these category candidates can apply for admission under these categories. The relevant category certificate has to be submitted for verification purposes. The seats are confirmed only after verification. Moreover, there are a total of 43 seats for the MDes programme. This seat count is as per the official website/sanctioning body. For NIFT Delhi B.Des admission, candidates must have passed Class 12 from any recognised Central/State Board of Secondary Examination, such as Central Board of Secondary Education/ State Board New Delhi/ Council for Indian School of Certificate Examination, New Delhi. A passing grade in the Senior Secondary School examination conducted by the National Open School with a minimum of five subjects is also eligible to apply for the National Institute of Fashion Technology Delhi. 

Aspirants have to pay a non-refundable application fees of INR 2,000 for UG and PG courses at NIFT Delhi. There is a relaxation in the fees for SC/ ST/ PwD category. Such candidates need to pay INR 500. Aspirants can pay the application fees via any of the online payment modes.
