NIFT Delhi BDes admission dates are aligned with NIFTEE dates and following counselling rounds. NIFTEE registrations begin in December of previous year and remain open until February of admission year. Thus, candidates should consider February as NIFT Delhi BDes deadline. For admission to BDes at NIFT Delhi, aspirants are required to take the NIFT entrance exam. The eligible students can visit the NIFT official website to register and apply. Yes, the National Institute of Fashion Technology will allow candidates with late fees. The late fee application window will open once the deadline to fill out the NIFT 2024 application form with regular fee closes. The start and last date to fill out the NIFT 2024 application form with late fee will be notified by the institute before the regular application form closes or sometime thereabout. The late fee for NIFT 2024 will be INR 5,000. The late fee has to be paid in addition to the application fee, which is INR 3000 for open category candidates.

The National Institute of Fashion Technology offers B.Des and B.FTech courses at the undergraduate level. NIFT Delhi offers M.Des, MFM and M.FTech courses at the postgraduate level. The NIFT CAT exam will be administered in an offline mode and will be a drawing-based exam. During the course of the exam, the candidate is not allowed to write any personal details and place identification marks. The CAT exam will evaluate the candidate on parameters like intuitive ability, power of observation in concept development, and design ability. To prepare for the CAT the candidate needs to work on geometrical shapes, product drawing, line quality, shading, human figures, principles of composition, etc. To improve ones figure drawing skills, one may stick drawing, before moving on to block drawing, and then evolving to add clothes and other items.
No, each aspirant can only submit 1 application for each category for NIFT Delhi admission. Submission of multiple applications is treated as violation of NTA guidelines. NTA cancels candidature entirely in case of multiple form submission.

BDes admissions at NIFT Delhi are still ongoing for academic year 2026.
However, fresh applications to BDes courses have been closed for this year. Currently, admissions are in spot round allotment phase which is scheduled to continue until last week of July.

Yes, BDes fees increases on annual basis at NIFT Delhi. However, the increase is not done on a fixed rate. Each year's BDes tuition fees is charged in two semesterly installments which will have the same cost.

No processing charges will be deducted from BDes fees by NIFT Delhi before refunds are credited to candidates.
