NIFT Delhi, established in 1986, is the first government-backed design institute in India. The campus features well-equipped classrooms, vibrant campus life, and excellent industry connections. It also includes well-equipped labs, an extensive resource centre, and centralised air-conditioned hostels. NIFT Delhi Hostel and Residential Facilities
NIFT Delhi offers fully air-conditioned hostels to the girl students. The hostels at NIFT Delhi have a capacity of 200 beds. The hostel is equipped with the latest firefighting system, 24/7 power backup, security, hot water facility and water coolers fitted with ROs. There is a medical room, which is open during all working hours of the institute. Apart from the medical room, a doctor on call is always present at the hostel. At the common utility area, there is a refrigerator, microwaves, induction heaters, steam irons and electric kettles for the use of students. Each balcony has a drying stand for clothes, and students have a facility for getting the laundry done through an outsourced service. In each hostel room, there is a bed, an inbuilt cupboard, a study table and a chair. TV and indoor games are there for recreational purposes. There are elevators and toilets for students with special needs.
Each student is provided with a single cot, a writing table, and an inbuilt almirah. However, they are required to bring their mattress, pillow, blanket, linen, curtains and other personal belongings. For the students residing in the hostel, the food will be available on payment in the NIFT canteen.
NIFT Delhi Hostel Fee
NIFT Delhi offers hostel facilities for female students. It is to be noted that students are required to pay the hostel charges before joining the hostel. Hostel facility is available for UG, PG and PhD courses only. The hostel fee breakup has been given in the table below:

The hostel at NIFT Delhi offers a safe and comfortable atmosphere to the students. The hostels offer round-the-clock professional security to ensure the safety of the students. There are sports clubs at NIFT Delhi that promote activities related to sports. The various sports available at NIFT Delhi include Table Tennis, Volleyball, Basketball, Badminton, Throwball and Cricket. The Sports Club promotes all activities related to Sports. The activities are divided into leagues according to the sport. Throughout the year, the leagues promote participation among the student community through on-campus tournaments. The core teams across campuses compete in the main annual meet, Converge. Some teams also get opportunities to compete in sports events hosted by other colleges.

NIFT Delhi is situated in the southern part of Delhi. In their free time, students can explore a lot of places nearby, such as Hauz Khas village, which is known for its blend of historical and contemporary attractions. Hauz Khas Village is also famous for its nightlife, trendy cafes, restaurants, art galleries, boutiques and historical monuments. There is a deer park in this area for recreational purposes. Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college was good. Smart classrooms were available. The library was also present. Wi-Fi facilities were good. Hostel facilities were also good. A vast playground was present in the hostel. Mess and canteen food was decent. Medical facilities were available.
Infrastructure: Facilities provided during the course were exceptional, as a design college should offer. Labs, classrooms, you name it. The library in the college was top-notch, one of the very best I had experienced. Campus life was pretty chill. But, the certificate course students were highly segregated from the regular courses, which created a sense of disconnection.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is good, with stone walls and AC labs. There are two divisions of the college, new and old. The new one has better classrooms, while the old one needs a bit of refurbishing. The canteen and water supply aren't great, and there's only a girls' hostel, no boys' hostel available.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure available are all in good condition. Labs are top-notch. Canteen food is okayish, cold coffee is the best. Labs stay open as late as 9:00 PM depending on the workload. Basketball court is available. Hostel facilities are good.
