It is a nice place to discover yourself.

Placements: Almost 90% of the students got placed in our course. The highest salary package offered was 24 LPA, and the lowest package offered was 12 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Amrapali, Arvind Lifestyles Brand Limited, Admit Aggarwal, Crazy Denim industry LLP, More magazine visited the campus.

Infrastructure: The college has very basic infrastructure, and we have equipment's that are as old as 10 years. Labs did not have air-conditioned facility till last year, the library seems a little insufficient and not so updated, Wi-Fi is available in the college but does not have a nice speed.

Faculty: Teachers are qualified and knowledgeable, and there are only some helpful teachers, The course is focused on a few basic things. The course does feel like it is making students industry-ready, but there is also a lot of stuff to be done by students on their portfolio.

Other: I have chosen this course because of my leaning interest. The good things in our course are I am learning new things, and I am able to do a lot of stuff that I wouldn't have done before like talking to a group and being able to explain my ideas and thoughts. I wish that the course was a little more planned and updated from time to time. The campus is located near two markets on both sides and has good connectivity.

Placements: Placement depends on how you perform in the interview. You should be perfect and confident about the work you have done. Placements range from the lowest to the highest standards. As Gandhinagar comes in the top 5 NIFTs, it has a higher placement percentage.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is available as per the requirement. The advanced machinery is available. Classrooms have smart class facilities. Amphitheatre and auditorium are available. Students of different disciplines are accommodated in different floors of the building so that the other classes do not get disturbed.

Faculty: Faculty members are all well versed and very cooperative. They guide you to follow the right path. At last, you have to study on your own as designing is all about exploring and learning everything on your own. You will be rewarded if the given tasks are done correctly.

Absolutely satisfied with the faculty members and course curriculum.

Placements: The placements in our college are good enough. It's not about how much you get, but it's all about how much you gain. The starting salary could be around Rs. 20,000 per month to Rs. 30,000 per month, but a good increment can be expected. NIFT placements are not based on the campus, but it is based on your talent. The highest package goes up to 12 lakhs per annum, and the average is around 3.5 lacs per annum.

Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is good enough, but it is not perfect. The campus is very small. There is no facility of AC in any of the classrooms except for the FC building. The library and the lab facilities are very good. Each and everything is provided on the campus. Our mess provides the food of best quality to the students. Hostel rooms are charged more than the facilities they provide.

Faculty: NIFT, Gandhinagar provides the best faculty members with a lot of experience and teaching skills so that they provide us with great knowledge. Visuals are given more importance than theory part which helps us to understand things much better. We do get industrial exposure. We all get a chance of an industrial visit for gaining more valuable and practical knowledge.

Faculty members of nift Gandhinagar is good.

Placements: Placement is not so good in nift Gandhinagar. Last year almost 4-5 companies came and placed the students and companies like Sabyasachi, artex, Arvind Ahmedabad, awdat came to hire the students. The average package went to 2-3 Lacs, overall Gandhinagar placement is not so good.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is good. Lab facilities is also nice, the lab assistant are good and helpful, the only problem is that there is no AC in the classroom and it is to difficult to survive in the hot climate of Ahmedabad without AC. Medical facilities is good, doctor is provided by the college.

Faculty: Faculty members are knowledgeable and helpful. Nift Gandhinagar centre is known for its faculty members. Personally I believe that all the faculty members are very good and guide you very nicely. The course curriculum is vast but you will enjoy while studying here.

Basically a good college with lots of exposure and fashion awareness. It grooms your personality.

Placements: Average package:- 5.5 Lacs On campus placement companies:- 27+ On-campus students selected:- 100+ Major recruiters:- Lifestyle, Snapdeal, Raymond, Reliance, Anita Dongre Highest annual pay:- 11.5 Lacs Major recruiters:- Reliance Trends (50) Lifestyle (45), Snapdeal (35) & Future Group (33). Roles like a fashion designer, fashion stylist, fashion journalist, fashion forecasters, graphic designer, logo designers, visual merchandiser, manager, etc. are offered. Internships at various firms like above are arranged every year.

Infrastructure: The campus is very small yet well-equipped. There's Wi-Fi facility 24*7. Some of the classes have ACs. As per the no. of students, labs and studios are enough to learn and understand. The library is named as resource centre which posses every book you need in a fashion college with outside material too. There's a mess cum canteen in the campus named fuel station which provides good food. There are volleyball, basketball, table tennis and badminton courts. Dance and music room is also there inside the amphitheater area. There are two small hostels for girls only named Tapti and Narbada which have quite well facilities. The hostel is a 2-floor building. There's an auditorium also. Overall, it's a little sufficient campus area.

Faculty: Mostly teachers here are artists, designers or some professionals. They are highly qualified but due to their tight schedule they sometimes get little time to focus on students. Some of the teachers here are highly devoted and others are just opposite. Mostly here faculty members prefer letting students explore the horizons on their own. Teaching methods are lectures, PPT and videos, presentations, field studies and craft work, etc. Industry exposure is widely available. The course curriculum is vital in shaping a good professional worker and designer. It develops the overall personality of the college students.

Other: Annual fest named spectrum is held with all extra curricular activities and fashion show being the major event. Converge being the annual sports event for all NIFT campuses. Janmashtami and Navratri are well celebrated. Campus crowd is less due to less exposure of the field. Campus is surrounded by TCS company and is adjacent to DAIICT college and near NID college.

You do have a medium chance to get admission in Kolkata. Attend the counselling and hope for the best. In 2017, the last merit rank admitted at Kolkata for KD was 3484. But don't be disappointed, just appear for the counselling.
