NIFT Kannur Certificate Highlights 2025
The institute offers five Continuing Education (CE) short-term programmes in various specialisations, including Photo Journalism, Basic Calligraphy, Home Furnishing Production & Fashion Technology, Fashion Fundamentals and Apparel Export Merchandising and Apparel Costing with a course duration ranging from 24 days to 4 months. Candidate must have passed Class 12 from a recognised board/ university for admission to Continuing Education (CE) short-term programmes. For the current academic year (2022–2023), the hostel price is Rs. 46000, excluding mess fees. In addition to the foregoing, new participants must pay a non-refundable security deposit of Rs. 3000 and a refundable security deposit of Rs. 3000, for a total of Rs. 52000 for non-AC rooms with triple occupancy. Charges for triple occupancy AC rooms will be Rs. 90,000 plus Rs. 6,000 in refundable security, for a total of Rs. 99,000 (subject to construction completion). It could vary in accordance with authority decisions, and any changes would be announced separately.
In addition, one month's worth of Mess fees may be applied for Mess Security.

NIFT Kannur Cutoff 2024 Round 3 was released for different M.Des, MFM and B.Des courses. The Cutoff was released for different categories under the AI quota. For the General AI category candidates, the Cutoff ranks ranged between 206 and 2229. The most competitive course was Master of Design (M.Des)
