Some companies that visit the college for placements are Accenture, EY, LEK, Dr. Reddy's Laboratories, and GSK. Roles offered are analyst, product manager, and business development. 100% of students get internships.
Placements: This college is one of the most reputed for the pharmacy course. Here, around 50–60% of students get placements every year. The highest offered package was 15 lpa, and the lowest package was 4 lpa. The average package offered was 3–8 lpa. The top recruiters were from pharmaceutical firms. The top roles offered were pharmacists, chemists, etc.

Hi.
It is an informal designation. People call NIPER the "IIT of Pharmacy" because the National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research institutes occupy a position in pharmaceutical education somewhat similar to what the IITs occupy in engineering.

No, admission to the National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research, Guwahati is based on entrance exam scores such as NIPER JEE for most courses however the PhD admissions are based on Online application+ Personal Interview rounds.
