Nist is a collection not for study for life .
Placements: Placement is good in our college. Packages ranging from 7 LPA to 20 LPA are being offered. Companies like TCS, Accenture, IBM, and Hitachi are interested in our campus placements. Recently, TCS came for placements, and 22 students were selected for the final round of interviews.
Infrastructure: The college environment is very good. The atmosphere is peaceful. You can sit in the library during your free periods and do your work there as well. Classrooms are good, with proper visualization and projector facilities. You can explore it and come to love it. It's literally good.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful by nature. They assist you at any time you need. Semesters are a little tough, so you have to study properly. A 36% pass percentile is required. You must submit your assignments properly and complete your lab work on time. A 75% attendance is required.
Other: MCA is a good course. It helps a lot in getting a job if you are not eligible for a teaching job. It’s a 2-year course, but you need to make friends, build good bonds, and secure a good job.

NIST College: The future of our new generation.
Placements: Most of the students are placed in good and well-established companies and MNCs all around India, and this also includes internships. Full stack development is offered, which has given me confidence in myself. Some top recruitment companies are Accenture.
Infrastructure: It's great that we have access to facilities like borrowing books and submitting them later at our convenience. The labs and classrooms are excellent, providing a conducive environment for studying. We also participate in various sports, enhancing our teamwork skills, which keeps us motivated all the time.
Faculty: Although it's challenging, the teaching quality of our faculty members helps us understand and succeed easily. This prepares students to be industry-ready and excel in their careers, reflected in their SGPA in semester exams.
Other: I chose this course to secure a job in the IT sector and develop myself as a tech-savvy individual. College events also support me in extracurricular activities.

The college management takes steps for students' growth and Placement scenarios.
Placements: Talking about placement, they did not provide any placement. In 2022, 127 students were admitted to the college. After the completion of the course, only 1 to 2 students got jobs by applying on their own. In MCA, there was no placement for the 2024 pass-out batch. So there were no high or low packages. Zero students got internships.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure was good, but the systems provided in labs were not so good, as some of them were not working. Classrooms were average. Some classrooms had AC, but most were non-AC. The library was good. The hostel was good. They provided Wi-Fi, and both AC and non-AC rooms were available. The food quality was also up to the mark. A small medical facility was available on the campus for student emergencies. For sports, there was an indoor stadium, but students did not always get time to use it due to their class timetables.
Faculty: Some teachers were good and had graduated from reputed institutes like IIT and NIT, but in the current situation, there were fewer knowledgeable faculty members in the college. However, most faculty did not have much ability. The curriculum was completely outdated and did not help students become industry-ready. The exams were strict, and you had to maintain 75 percent attendance to sit for the exam. The pass percentage was 37, but 40 was considered safe.
