This branch stands out in placements with good opportunities.
Placements: I am in the ECAM branch, with a strength of 150–160 students. The placement percentage is 67.23% this year. The lowest package is below 10 LPA, the highest is 30 LPA+, and the average is 14 LPA. There are several companies that come for placements, such as Texas Instruments, NXP Semiconductors, and more for core, and Google, etc. for tech. However, the percentage of people getting internships is lower. Roughly 8–10 out of 150 students get an on-campus paid internship, while the rest are off-campus. Roles like Embedded Engineer, Analog Engineer, and Computer Architecture are offered.
Infrastructure: There is no such thing as a hostel at the East Campus of NSUT, so you have to find PGs nearby. Wi-Fi is not available across the whole campus, only in labs. A few classrooms have smartboards, and a few have normal whiteboards. The library is big, and you can study there in your gaps between lectures. For sports, there is a badminton court, a basketball court, and a football ground.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful. However, you have to study by yourself. Being attentive in the lectures is appreciated. The course curriculum is relevant too and makes students industry-ready. While scoring a CG in the CSE branch is easy, it is going to be a little tough in ECE, but the pass percentage is higher than expected. More than 85% of students pass the exams very easily.
Other: There are small events that are arranged in the East Campus, but campus life is much better on the main campus. However, big fests are held on the main campus, so we attend them. It would have been better if we had Wi-Fi around the whole campus. There is not much to be improved in the course, however. The crowd is good. A decent crowd can help you grow much faster. There are societies which are linked to the main campus only, and you are given equal opportunities once you pass their interview round.

B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering - Batch of 2029

Poor infrastructure, the CS branch is easily available.
Placements: As I am a first-year student, my batch is not getting placements, but the 4th-year students have around an 80% placement rate. The average package is around 15 LPA. I am not sure about the highest and lowest packages. Some of the companies I have heard about are Apribklr, Qualcomm, and Amazon. I have no idea about internships. The roles offered include IoT Engineer and SDE.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is very poor. There is no Wi-Fi, and even the internet does not work properly. Labs are good. The library is also decent. There is no hostel. The canteen is bad. Sports and games facilities are also poor. There are absolutely no medical services available.
Faculty: Some teachers are helpful, but most are not. Most of them are qualified and knowledgeable, but the teaching quality is poor for many teachers. The course curriculum is relevant, but includes a few subjects related to the Electrical department in the first year. It helps make students industry-ready. Semester exams are of an intermediate level. The pass percentage is usually 43%, including internals.
Other: I chose this course because I am interested in Computer Science. The course is good, but the infrastructure is poor. Events are rare, maybe once or twice a year, and even those are not very good. For fests, we go to the main campus. There are almost no extracurricular activities.

Review of Netaji Subhas University of Technology.
Placements: In the current year, the placements are going very well. The placement percentage is about 60%, which is even higher than the Core ECE, which is on the main campus. The highest package is around 60-65 LPA, and the average placement is 16 LPA, with a median of 17 LPA, which is very good.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is quite bad. Labs and all are good, but the campus life is very bad, actually. Only the people make things interesting. Otherwise, it's very dead. Wi-Fi is not there in the whole campus. The library is very good. There is no hostel. The canteen is there, but it has very few options.
Faculty: Teachers are good and supportive, well qualified, and knowledgeable. They are very frank and honest, which helps the students to talk freely to them. Semester exams are easy. You can score pretty well if you study 2-3 days before the exam. Attendance is strict here. Teachers give the attendance at the last to all the students. Internal marks are also sorted, as they are in the hands of teachers.
Other: I chose this because of the ECAM branch. I think colleges should improve their campus and infrastructure, as it has a very dead vibe. Events are held on the main campus, so nothing is done here.

If you are looking for a branch and placements come here.
Placements: In my course CSDA approximately 50 percent of students got placed with the average package of around 22 LPA and the median is about 18 LPA. The highest package for my specific branch is 48 LPA but overall NSUT has the highest package this year which is 120 LPA. The top recruiters are Amazon, LinkedIn, Microsoft, etc. The percentage of Students getting on-campus internship opportunities is like 10 percent.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of NSUT East Campus is only adjustable. A small campus offering the most in-demand tech branches. The classrooms are good but the problem is that there is no Wi-Fi on my campus. The campus contains a library with sufficient space for students. For sports the ground is small and the equipment is also very tough to get. If you want to play something you have to get the equipment from home.
Faculty: Teachers are gems here, well-educated, too supportive, understandable, and their teaching experience says it all. The course curriculum is also too relevant and if I talk about semester exams the exams are not that tough if you focus on academics a week before exams, you can easily score well. I don't mean that exams are that easy but the quality of students here is unmatchable.
Other: I chose this course as it matches my interests and has a good career scope. Best thing about this is relevant curriculum and practical learning. They can work on more hands-on projects and gain industry exposure. Campus life is decent, the crowd is good, and the fests are unmatchable.

Absolutely satisfied with placements, infrastructure and facilities do not matter after 4 years.
Placements: Placement is the best thing in this college. Almost 75 percent of people are placed in the CSDA branch. The highest package is 65 LPA for our branch, the average is 18.25 LPA, the median is 15+ LPA, and the lowest is 6 LPA. Top recruiters are Google, DeShaw, Apple, Microsoft, etc. Internships are quite low compared to placements, as few companies visit for internships. Almost 10–20 percent of students got on-campus internships, but the highest stipend is 2 LPA by DeShaw. Top roles offered are SDE, SWE, consultant, web development, AI/ML development, prompt engineers, etc.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is the most disappointing part of this college. Wi-Fi facilities are not available throughout the campus and are only present in a few computer labs. Phone networks also do not work properly on campus. There is one canteen that offers pasta, momo, samosas, cold drinks, and around 10–12 items in total. The campus size is small, around 8 acres, and the overall infrastructure is okay. There are two libraries, one on the ground floor and one on the first floor. Sports facilities are available, with cricket, badminton, javelin throw, kabaddi, volleyball, athletics, etc.
Faculty: The faculty and curriculum are good. The faculty are highly qualified and knowledgeable. Math's faculty Shantanu Sir and EE faculty Avinash Sir are the best. Only 5–7 students fail out of 72. Semester exams are not very tough, and one can easily get a good SGPA by studying 1–2 weeks before the exams. Although the syllabus is good, it does not make students industry-ready. Students should focus on DSA and web development themselves.
Other: Fests happen on the main campus and are really good. Scholarships are given, but mainly for OBC, SC, ST, PWD, etc. If you belong to these categories, getting a scholarship is easy. MCN is also available for the general category.

A very underrated college.
Placements: Placements are better here compared here as compared to the main campus. In 2025 average package was 21 LPA in CSDA, with 70 percent placed. The companies like De Shaw, Google, Uber, etc., visit the campus for placements. Placements happen with all main campus branches.
Infrastructure: All classrooms here are centrally air-conditioned, and all labs are equipped with Intel i7 PCs by HP. But network connectivity is not great here, only Airtel sims works fine here. The canteen here is also good, we have 2 grounds, 1 badminton court, and 1 open gym, and close gym is currently under construction. Almost all facilities are present here.
Faculty: Faculty members here are goated. They teach every concept in detail and give good marks except for a few faculty members, and scoring CGPA here is easier compared to the main campus. The attendance criteria are also chill here, as almost all faculty members provide attendance at the end of the semester.
Other: Take the CSDA east campus over the main campus MAC, ITNS, IT any day.

Placements for the east campus and the main campus were taken together, so the average package of INR 12 LPA - INR 13 LPA is average for both the main and the east.

A decent CGPA around 8-8.5 and good coding efforts including DSA and Competitive Programming with extra skills like Webdev and Some projects can easily lead you to over 20LPA. maybe 30.

NSUT does not release seperate list for EAST campus. it's combined for EAST and MAIN.

Yes, if you have a decent coding practice and decent CGPA in all 4 years, cracking placement wouldn't be hard, but it won't offer you a dream package as IIT's. average package will range around 12-13 LPA, with little efforts one can crack placement over 20LPA.
