Review of NICMAR University, Hyderabad.

Placements: The recruitment is satisfactory, with more than fifty percent of the students being able to secure, and during our time, the highest package was offered for around 15 LPA. Companies like construction firms, infrastructure developers, and real estate companies came.

Infrastructure: The quality of the food is good, and various options and varieties are offered in both veg and non-veg meals. The medical facilities are also good. The college has great modern technology classrooms and access to various online resources and a library, along with Wi-Fi, is there.

Faculty: The professors are various experience holders with a mixture of young and old faculty members. The teaching quality depends on practical subjects, which are more interesting. The curriculum is reviewed regularly, and according updates are happening, and exams depend upon subject to subject.

I would say this is one of the best college for a civil engineer for his or her career growth.

Placements: 99% of the people were placed and the average package is 5.5 Lacs per annum. Companies like L&T, JLL, GREENKO, TATA, PATEL, LIVSPACE, CBRE, HDFC and many more top companies will be hiring Nicmar candidates. Some companies may be international also.

Infrastructure: Both the campus and hostel will be having a very pleasant atmosphere and many facilities like Wi-Fi connection, library, mess, sports area etc.

Faculty: The faculty here are qualified from a top universities in research stream and some of them have experience of min 10 years in the industry. This course if of 2 years where you will also be exposed to the company side. The difficulty of the semister exam is neither hard nor easy.2 years course consists of 7 trimesters.

Dissatisfied with the college, and I suggest not to waste your money joining here.

Placements: Out of 231 students, 131 students got placed. 100 students were left unplaced due to the corona pandemic, and the placements were delayed. Companies like L&T, Afcons, etc., came here. The highest package offered is 6 LPA. Companies like Anarock and some design companies offered 3 LPA.

Infrastructure: NICMAR Hyderabad hostel is not satisfying because the campus is far from the city, like 30 km. Medical facilities are the worst. Only one van is available to take you to the hospital in emergencies. The doctor is not good enough, and you have to go outside for a medical check-up every time.

Faculty: The teachers in NICMAR are very well-qualified and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is very good. The curriculum is interesting, and students are made industry-ready. Exams are simple, and the questions asked in exams are from what is taught in classes. Scoring marks there is easy.

Other: I chose this course because I can get more options in future through this course.

Great placement statistics.

Placements: The placement statistics has been always very good. There has always been an exponential growth. Top recruitment are from l&t, spcl, megha etc. The course offered makes the students industry ready and gives a good link between industry and theoretical study.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is very good. All the students will have a nice time out here. LAN facilities are available. Computer labs for software learning are there. The quality of food and hygiene maintained is commendable. Sports like cricket, badminton and various indoor games are there.

Faculty: Teachers are well qualified and experienced. They try their best to mould students into professionals. The course is very much relevant and makes the students industry ready. They come to know real time experience from the faculty members which helps them to learn better.

A friendly and decent atmosphere for learning more.

Placements: It always stands out even in the toughest times. Mostly it offers 100% placement every year. Better option for every civil engineering student. Top recruitment from L&t, megha, spcl and Tata etc. Internships are also offered them. Pre placement offers are also offered.

Infrastructure: All the facilities available. And it takes into account students comfort always. LAN connection available, computer labs for various programs available. Library and mess are also there. Gymnasium is also available. Sports facilities for cricket, basketball, carrom etc. Are there.

Faculty: Course are linked with real time experience and show a mini preview of the construction sector projects. Teachers are well qualified and experienced. The course is very much relevant as we come to know about the industry and connect to it in a more defined level.

Other: I chose this as it bridges the civil and MBA life. I would not like to change anything in the course. Fests and studies happen at their own times. Scholarship is available in many forms. Scope for extra curricular activities are also there.

It is a value for money college.

Placements: About 60% of the students in our course got placed. The highest salary package is 10 LPA, and the average salary package offered is 6 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 3.75 LPA. Top recruiting companies like L&T, Tata, SPCL and CBRE visit our campus for placements. A top role offered in our course is an assistant project manager. Almost 100% of the students got an internship in companies like L&T, Tata, SPCL, CBRE, Prestige, Brigade, Synergy, Soma, etc.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is the best. Lab quality is simply awesome. They provide double sharing rooms in the hostel. Pure vegetarian food is served to the students, and it is average. Classrooms are very comfortable, good, air-conditioned and benches were cushioned. In the library, we get all types of books which are required along with magazines. The college does not provide Wi-Fi facility on the campus. Only LAN connections are provided for each individual. A doctor is available every day. Sports are awesome. There is full of encouragement and permission will be given to attend matches.

Faculty: Faculty members in our college are highly qualified, and everyone must do M.Tech. They should have a minimum of 5 years of teaching experience. Their teaching quality is good. The course curriculum makes students industry-ready. It is fully practical related to the current working culture. Our college has good value in the industry. The course provides good knowledge.

Placements: NICMAR is currently a leading Indian Institute in the field of construction management which caters 100% placement both pan India and across. The placement companies comprises of the construction giants in real estate, infrastructure and consultancy sector.

Infrastructure: The campus is well-equipped with basic eminities like late night canteen,24 hours Wi-Fi and LAN connection, fitness area and recreational area. Surrounded in the Siksha Vihar area, the campus provides a lush and healthy environment. The new campus has been shifted to Jaganguda, Shamirpet, Hyderabad.

Faculty: The faculty is highly experienced from the construction sector and the curriculum is bit dynamic in the sense that new course can be added as per the development in construction sector and their requirements. Also, the research area is where NICMAR has been recently added to promote ease of doing business by ministry of industry and commerce.

The college has good placements, infrastructure and faculty.

Placements: The placements here are good. They will give you ample opportunities, after that it totally depends upon your calibre and scores. The average package is currently Rs. 6 Lakhs. Also, some foreign companies do visit the campus and offer you a package of around fifteen lakhs.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good, and the classrooms are quite learning friendly. They have LAN connection at every room in the hostels. A library is also there with all the books available for the course. As it is a residential campus, the hostel facilities are good. Also, a college canteen is available which will provide you good food.

Faculty: The staff here is very qualified and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is also good. They give almost all the practical knowledge, whichever may be the latest things and requirements of the industry they will impart it to the students. The curriculum is framed according to the requirement of the construction industry.

Entrance Test
Eligible candidates need to appear for the NICMAR Common Admission Test conducted by the National Institute of Construction Management and Research. Candidates who have appeared for CAT/ GATE/ GMAT/ CMAT and have valid scores need not to appear for NICMAR Common Admission Test.

Shortlisted candidates will be called for Personal Interview based on score/ marks obtained in NICMAR Common Admission Test (NCAT)/ CAT/ GATE/ GMAT/ CMAT. Rating of Application (RA) is calculated on the basis of weighted scores of the cumulative academic performance along with work experience (wherever applicable) obtained from the documents submitted to NICMAR by the candidates.
