This is budget friendly college.
Placements: As of now, 60% of the students have been placed with an average package of 4.5 LPA, while the lowest package offered was 1.5 LPA in my department. Companies like Wipro and other smaller firms have visited our campus for recruitment. Additionally, 90% of the students have secured internships in their 5th semester. The top job offers have been in the fields of database management and website design, which are the most sought-after roles in my course.
Infrastructure: This college boasts excellent infrastructure with Wi-Fi-enabled classrooms. Each department has its own lab, including the BMLT lab, two computer labs, and two hotel management labs. Additionally, the college provides a well-stocked library with a good selection of books. The hostel facilities are quite nice, offering accommodation at an affordable price. However, it is important to note that only lunch, dinner, and breakfast are available exclusively for hostel residents.
Faculty: Teachers are not only good supporters but also highly qualified. Some of the best faculties from around the city come here for a period of six months. They possess extensive knowledge and provide excellent teaching quality. Moreover, they prepare students for the industry, making them ready for the semester exams. The faculty is extremely helpful, resulting in a remarkable 98% pass rate.

Top recruiting companies are Apollo, Lal Pathology, etc. Around 100% of students got internships in this course. Infrastructure: All facilities are available in this college. Hostels are very good. The food served in the canteen is better. Medical facilities are available. Playground is available for sports like badminton, cricket, etc.
Faculty: The teaching quality is very good. Faculty members are excellent. They are knowledgeable, well-qualified, and helpful. The course curriculum makes students ready for the industry. Semester exams are easy. The pass percentage is 98%.
Other: The course is very good. It helps to provide a good career. The best thing about this course is that it helps students to know about physical complications and helps the doctor treat illnesses. There is no need for any improvement. Extracurricular activities are very good in this college.

Good learning experience in the BCA course. Supportive faculty and overall positive BCA journey.
Placements: Around 10%-20% of students from our BCA batch got placed through the college assistant. The highest package is around 5 LPA, the lowest package is around 1.8 LPA- 2 LPA. The average package is around 2.5 LPA -3LPA. Web development & IT companies, BPO/KPO companies visit college. Around 40%-50% of students from our BCA course got an internship opportunity. Web development, IT support, data entry, and digital marketing are roles offered.
Infrastructure: Our BCA department has all the basic facilities required for learning. The college provides Wi-Fi access, computer labs with internet, and well-equipped classrooms with projectors for presentations. The library has a decent collection of academic books. Our hostel is good for staying, and the food here isn't good for your health.
Faculty: The teachers in our BCA course are helpful, qualified, and have good subject knowledge. They support us during practical, theory classes, and project work. The teaching quality is decent, and the curriculum is mostly relevant to current IT trends, covering key topics like programming, web development, and database systems.

Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) - Batch of 2022

I am dissatisfied because of every single thing in the college.
Placements: None of the students get placed in our college. There are no placements in our course. Not a single company came to our college for placements. There is no management system and proper faculty. I cannot even imagine how I gave my 3 years to this college just because my money was already paid. I did not have any other option, so I continued it in a very difficult condition.
Infrastructure: There is only one lab, 2-3 classrooms, and 1 library in the college. The hostel facility is average, and middle-class students can manage it. Or else go for some clean and spacious place like paying guests or any other flats. It will be more good for students with a good environment.
Faculty: Some teachers are knowledgeable, but some do not even know English. They can only talk to us in Bengal. I am not from Kolkata. It was quite tough for me. But I can't say all teachers are not good. Some of them are so precious and talented for me. There is no fault of any teacher regarding the college. They are good at their place.
Other: I have chosen this course because I do not want to do a normal BBA. I want to do BBA in Global Business as it gives me enough knowledge to understand what is management and administration.

If you want a value for money course from MAKAUT, then it's great.
Placements: For us BBA students of 2020 pass out didn't get any placement neither they informed us after the lockdown ends. Seniors were bit happy compared to us as they got some placement and get some great companies. BHM placements and Internships were great among all.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure, college, hostel, library, books, canteen distance all are favorable for a student. The area is also great for studying as it's a peaceful area with nature around you. Only thing is the distance from the city or nearby market and that was far away. Hostel facility ware good for 1year after that we shifted to other hostel and it was far away from college. The cook was terrible that time, college used to provide all kinds of requirements but she was not a cook at all. Great if they changed her.
Faculty: Teachers were so good they took some great lectures, they were very helpful. They were like your elder brother and sister, they try to become friends with the students who are away from home and staying in the hostel. Had a great experience with teachers.
Other: Good for studying environment as it's far from city chaos.

NIMAS is relatively easy admission, especially if it happens to be the concerned programme for which the admission is sought. The institute normally prefers those candidates who have a minimum eligibility criterion with respect to their academic background and acceptable scores in the entrance exams
