Q: What is the eligibility to get admission in Nimra Institute of Science and Technology for UG/PG courses?

Nimra Institute of Science and Technology has below criteria for taking admissions to it's various courses: Courses Eligibility B.E. / B.Tech Candidates who have passed Diploma in Engineering or any other examination recognized as equivalent there to, from a recognized Institute/ University, Andhra Pradesh/ Telangana are also eligible. Candidates who have appeared in Diploma in Engineering and who are awaiting their results can also apply on provisional basis. Candidates should belong to the state of Andhra Pradesh/ Telangana. Candidate should have completed 16 years of age as of 31st December of the year of admission (2023). There is no upper age limit. MBA/PGDM Candidate must have completed bachelor degree of 3/4 years duration with above mentioned marks from any recognised University/Institute. 45% marks for BC categories. Candidate who are appearing for the final year degree examination are also be eligible. Degree obtained by Distance Mode Program should have recognition by Joint Committee of UGC, AICTE and DEC/DEB. Candidate who passed all the subjects of the three years of any Degree course in one sitting is not eligible for admission. M.E./M.Tech Candidate must have passed B.E./B.Tech. in relevant stream and obtained with the above mentioned marks (45% in case of reserved category candidates) from an AICTE/UGC approved institution recognised by the Government of Andhra Pradesh as equivalent thereto. Final year appearing students may also apply on provisional basis.

Dissatisfied because there are no placements.

Placements: There is no guarantee for placements in my college because we, students, have many backlogs because of lack of perfect and quality education. Due to this, companies do not give chances to us. We are trying to clear our backlogs to attend placements.

Infrastructure: Nimra has great infrastructure I believe that our college would get the first rank if there exists any contest in infrastructure. Gardens, mango trees, grounds, cement road, and Sadhan block are more attractive in this college. The campus has a very cool climate. When you look around, you can see a lot of mountains, it would be more attractive.

Faculty: There are no quality faculty members, all are junior lecturers. They studied in Nimra and became faculty here. One or two members are senior faculty. The teaching methods are not much good. The teaching quality is low. Some teachers are helpful and knowledgeable, and some are not helpful.

Other: The fests are conducted in our college every year. Founder's day is conducted, sports week and a lot more events are conducted.

It is an excellent college because of the placements, care and help they provide.

Placements: In our college, the placements are increasing each year. Every year, on an average, 50% of the students were placing. The highest salary offered was 6.0 LPA. The average salary offered was 3.0 LPA. The lowest salary offered was 1.2 LPA. All MNC companies are visiting our college. Mostly, they offered the developers roles. There are no internships in our college. There is a placement cell in our college, which is very useful for placing the students in MNC company.

Infrastructure: We have a good Wi-Fi facility. The classrooms are good. All kinds of books are available for each department students. We have a sports cell. Also, we participated in all sports events. Good food is available in our college canteen. We have separate hostel facilities for both girls and boys. Up to now, I never faced any problems with our college infrastructure.

Faculty: The teachers are well-educated and highly trained. They are always available in our college. The teaching quality is excellent. They used different types of methods based on the type of student. We won't get any industry exposure. The course curriculum was very useful.

High structural and equipment infrastructure with vast garden.

Placements: 20 placements happen in that year in the stream of computer Science and engineering. In regards to the placements, they have tied up with NIIT for the consulting in programming languages, communication skills and interview ability with real time scenarios.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure in Nimra has high excellence with Wi-Fi, full equipment of computer lab, mechanical workshop lab, electrical and electronics labs. It has seminar halls for communicating the students and halls. Especially, sports infrastructure is up to the mark.

Faculty: Faculty has very good experience, students have to utilize it. Library has large volumes of books in all categories. Teaching methodology was similar. Faculty ratio was good and has sections in different courses. Faculty helps in communication skills.

Other: Every year freshers, farewell, festivals, perceptions and University events. Scholarship available.

It is a good college to study.

Placements: Whenever hard work gives success, the college will definitely have a part in it. I got good placement. The companies like BHEL, Infosys, and all MNC companies visit the campus for placements. Everything will be good if you get 65%-70% of marks. The students who get distinction will join MNCs.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good. The four large poles are teaching, lovely atmosphere, good labs, etc. If you see the outlook of the college, you will not believe it, and it looks like IIT and Bits Pilani. The communication is the main key role for our generation, which can be improved here.

Faculty: The teachers are well qualified and teach well. They teach on how to generate all the new things for the future generation. Electrical branch has a good facility to develop their analysis based on the future acceptances. An annual income of 5 LPA can be earned.

The waste of money and the future of the student.

Placements: There is no chance of the placements, better don't think about that. You can hardly see not even one company per year for the campus placements. In many MNCs, Nimra college is on the black list, so you cant get a job in MNCs. So, better not to think about the campus placements and the jobs.

Infrastructure: It is one of the most outstanding infrastructures in Vijayawada. They will maintain excellent outlook to attract the people. They will pay gardener a monthly package of 50K to keep the premises clean and green. No faculty will be paid that regular except the gardener.

Faculty: There will be 2-4 professors for a branch. They will manage all the subjects for all the semesters. They are the senior students of the same college. The administration will not pay the proper salaries to them. So, they are also not interested in taking classes and do jobs.

Other: There is a library, but there are only 3 or 4 books for an author, and the first four people will get those books, and the remaining students have to beg from them. There is a huge generator, but they never use that for the students, it is only at the time of question paper printing. There are big labs, but the faculty members to teach that lab will no longer appear.

However, the placements are good in every year except in 2017. I am satisfied with the faculty.

Placements: In our college, our senior batch had many placements, but our batch doesn't have much because our batch has less pass percentage that's the reason our batch do not have placements as a previous batch. As our senior batch students have offered the highest salary and that senior batch has high pass percentage compare with the juniors. The students with the high pass percentage demand a high salary. As per internship from our college, some branch will have less internship compared with the other batches.

Infrastructure: Our college has the best infrastructure compare with any other colleges. The college provides the Wi-Fi, medical facilities, sports. The labs are free to the students. The college has the good and excellent quality of labs and the classrooms. They provide an excellent quality of food with the less amount and provide more varieties of food compared with the other colleges. There is no hostel facility. I didn't face any issues with the infrastructure during my tenure.

Faculty: As per my experience, the faculty members are the good, student-friendly, highly qualified, and well-experienced. Most of the faculty members have PhDs with the high experience. We get some of the industry exposures better than comparing with our senior batch students. The course curriculum given the faculty members is useful to the students.

Other: Our college will have the best infrastructure and the pleasant environment with the green garden. The college provides the Wi-Fi facility. It has high security compared to any other colleges. The college has bus facility, and it should be an affordable price. The college fee structure has the reasonable structure with the less amount.
