Nonchalant crowd. Networking would not be so easy here because there is a lot of academic pressure.

Placements: Marketing roles are mainly CMO and HRO. Many finance-related roles are also offered depending on the specialisation you have taken in the 3rd year. Only marketing and finance specialisations are available in 3rd year. The rest two years you have to study basic and core management subjects.

Infrastructure: Our college has average quality. It has very good infrastructure of the hostel and campus.

Faculty: Exams are moderate to difficult. Many people may fail if they do not prepare very well. A dedicated study schedule is important to survive at NMIMS as no D or F is being carried. If you fail, you have to take the year back. Strict checking may be there and thus solving previous year questions and looking through their synoptics becomes a necessity. Professors are quite friendly, and they are basically playing the role of teachers back in high school. 80% of attendance is mandatory for every subject and thus you have to calculate your leaves accordingly.

Other: A variety of events take place here.

Great infrastructure, course, faculty members, crowd, etc. But need to work on placements.

Placements: As of 2024 batch, many companies are present at the university. The highest package offered is 4.5 LPA. The average package is around 3.1 LPA. Companies like DeShaw & Co, Paytm, Grant Thornton, BBT, and Sutherland are present. I would say the placements are average.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure wise there is no complaint. Classes are equipped with Wi-Fi, smart board, etc. There is a library with all course-related texts as well. Canteen is not that good but it's fine. There is a turf ground suitable for football and cricket. Apart from that, they do have a volleyball net, basketball court, and lawn tennis court.

Faculty: The curriculum is well-defined and structured as per the employee market. So you know the syllabus that we are taught aligns with the skills and interests of almost all employers. The course gets updated with changes in the industry. Faculty members are well-qualified and have industry experience. For core subjects like economics, finance, and marketing, most professors bring practical insights along with theory.

NMIMS: A journey to success.

Placements: The recent batch of Bachelor of Business Administration of NMIMS Indore consists of around 120 students. In the last batch of our college, most students got placed in one of the best companies in India. The highest salary package offered was around 6 LPA and the average salary package offered was around 5 LPA. We have some good companies VI, Deloitte, etc.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure of our college is top-notch. Facilities and amenities provided by our college are outstanding. We have a library, smart board fixed classes, computer labs, and Bloomberg computers for additional skill development courses. Free Wi-Fi services are available for students. We have game room, playground cafeteria, mess, canteen, etc.

Faculty: As it is one of the best ranked management college in India, so faculty members here are very well-qualified and knowledgeable. They are very experienced from different competitive colleges and from other real time industry experiences. Course curriculum is also very relevant and useful for the management course. Pass percentage in NMIMS is around 40%-50%.

Other: There is almost everything being provided by our college for the better upliftment of their students. All additional facilities are provided for skill development and extracurricular activities are conducted by our college.

Quality education, infrastructure, and crowd but lacks in placements.

Placements: About 30% of students got placed. The highest salary package offered is 8 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA. The average salary package offered is 5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Deloitte and DE Shaw. Around 2 students got summer internships at DE Shaw. Finance and marketing roles are offered.

Infrastructure: There is high-quality infrastructure in our college with updated technology. We have E-classrooms with generalized air conditioners and Wi-Fi on campus. We have the biggest library which consists of every book of our interest constructed in a duplex. Hostel is something we are the best in the hostel facilities. They are top-notch. We have air-conditioned rooms with ample amenities like indoor sports and a gym. The food quality is average in the hostel.

Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified with degrees like Ph.D. and Dr. There is quality teaching with modern and updated methods. The course is very helpful in real life. It is updated. The course includes topics like digital marketing which are crucial for further generation. Semester exams have a high moderate level as the course is excellent. They assume students to study harder and clear it. The passing percentage is 60%.

Other: Overall, the college is good in the context of education. If you want to study and excel, you should join NMIMS. There are few events in college that are good like Nmotsav which is a 3 day cultural event. Other than that, there aren't many events in comparison to other colleges. The crowd in the college is a cream crowd which is highly qualified and secured their place through entrance exams only. Things I feel the campus should increase are the number of events and collectiveness among students. The connectivity of the campus from Indore is about 30 minutes.

Review of Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies, Indore.

Placements: It was a very good college for placements. The average salary package offered was 3 LPA to 4 LPA. Around 100% of placements were provided in this college. I recommend students not attend placements after BBA.

Infrastructure: Our campus was the best. There were fully air-conditioned hostels. The food served in the canteen was good. Our campus was clean and spacious. There were four bedrooms in the hostel with two common washrooms and a bathroom on every floor.

Faculty: Faculty members in our college were not good but were supportive. Exams were challenging, but the teaching pattern didn't meet the requirements. Some of them were very good, but some were average. Faculty members were not good in every department.

Good college for Indore, but can find better institutes in metro cities.

Placements: Placement is decent, the companies that came to our placement were average and also offered some basic packages of around 5LPA. If we compare that to the fees charged by them, that is 7.5 Lacs, the placements are not that attractive, I expected a little more than what is offered.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure of our college is extraordinary, No other institute in central India must be having such good Infrastructure. Just the campus is still under construction, so hostel is not yet ready, but other than that its great. Canteen and other places are good.

Faculty: The curriculum is controlled by NMIMS Bombay, and the Indore campus does not possess much autonomy, hence its very centralised in the bombay campus. Papers and tests comes from there too, and also the coordination between campuses is not that great.

It is fun to be in college.

Placements: I have just heard about placements, but I have never seen them because I am in the first year now. I heard that placements are pretty well. The highest salary package offered in the last year was 8 LPA, which seems quite good. I think more than 90% of the students got internships.

Infrastructure: Our college has one of the best infrastructures in Indore. It has high-speed Wi-Fi for both faculty members as well as students, and the classrooms are comfortable and highly technical. Hostels are still under construction, but I suggest opting for PG or other hostels. The food in the canteen is good, but there is a lack of sports facilities. The cricket and football ground is quite good and well-maintained. Table tennis, badminton, and pool snooker are also in service, but sports like basketball and volleyball are not available.

Faculty: The most annoying thing about this college is you need 80% of attendance per semester to give semester exams, and there are only 12 holidays per semester. Semester exams are not that difficult, but it is difficult to study for that exam. The passing percentage is 50%, and the rest is complicated.

Other: The campus is not that gigantic as it is still under control, but once you enter it, it feels like heaven.

The true definition of college.

Placements: I am not quite sure about placements since I am in 1st Year, but as far as I know,70% of students from BBA have got placements in good companies, and the average salary for the BBA batch was 8.6 Lacs per year in the year 2021 and the highest salary going up to 14 Lacs per annum. The total companies participating in the placements were around 30 and some industries in which students have been placed include consulting automobiles industries, NBFC, ICICI Bank, Tech Mahindra, etc. I am not so sure about internships but after 1st year we are supposed to work for an NGO as a social cause as an internship, and after 2nd year there is an internship related to Industry meant for gaining experience and training of a student. Management consulting was one of the top roles offered by our college.

Infrastructure: NMIMS Indore campus has an amazing Library, a football court, an area where we can play cricket, a music room,2 TT tables, a huge auditorium and for the engineering section, there are labs of different subjects also. There is also a multipurpose hall with indoor games such as carrom and Pool also. The classrooms are amazingly equipped with AC and smart boards. The tables and chairs are also of good quality. As far as the hostel is concerned, I did not stay there but heard from my friends about it. It is a little costly as the rent is 30k per month for AC and 20k without AC. The location of the hostel is 5km far from the college and is not a very good area. But it is lots of fun and the food there is decent. The college provides bus facilities at 3k per month. The NMIMS campus is also equipped with Wi-Fi all over the campus. The campus has a good canteen with different dishes available.

Faculty: The teachers here are extremely knowledgeable and qualified and in fact, NMIMS is known for its quality of education. The teachers are really good and understanding. The course is designed to provide students with all knowledge of management and skills required for the outside world for the future generation of managers. Yes, it makes students industry-ready. I recently wrote my 1st sem exams and I would rate them between average to difficult examination. And the pass percentage is 40% including different pass marks for internals and Final examination.

Other: I chose this course cause I had believed in the university that its education would make me the best version of myself in terms of management and leadership. The best thing about this course is the quality of education that the faculty provides and also various internships. There are different clubs meant for students to showcase their talents and to organize various events. They frequently engage students in extra-curricular activities. The friends you get on the campus are really friendly. Fests do take place here. Campus surroundings are not really good as it is located in the outskirts of the city but is connected by good roads.
