Decent college, no infrastructure as such, and good curriculum.
Placements: Most people get placed at our college. Generally, placements start in 4th year but we also have internship opportunities from our college. So there are always PPO chances for sole students. Most top law firms, like Khaitan, AZB, Trilegal, etc., come for campus placements.
Infrastructure: The course is amazing and is in demand these days. The only problem is the infrastructure. Our college is in the Mithibai building so there's many other colleges there as well. It becomes very crowded. Other than that, it's decent at best. The canteens are great.
Faculty: The faculty is decent. There are really good professors and there are okay ones as well. But the course outline is really good. It's very extensive and we'll structure it. It's planned well and ahead of time. The faculty tries hard to keep up with it. It's good overall.
Other: I took up law because I had no other option left (long story) but I definitely don't regret taking admission to Kirit P. Mehta School of Law.

NMIMS is a decent college .
Placements: As per the latest records, the highest package offered was 18 LPA (2023) including 2 years of lockdown which somehow impacted the growth. Average package was 9 LPA for B.A. LLB and 6-7 LPA for BBA LLB. I would say that by the time I will graduate from this college, placements will be good enough. But there are so many drawbacks of being in nmims like daily expenses are way too high, infra is compromised, and 80% strict attendance.
Infrastructure: KPMSOL (Kirit P. Mehta School of law) plays a very unique marketing strategy where they'll always show you the glass building when you search nmims but in reality you'll have to attend all your lectures in mithibai building which is not upto the mark. They are planning to shift us to a new building, Let us hope for the best.
Faculty: The faculty is pretty good and let me be very clear you won't have a Bollywood college life. You'll have to attend lectures regularly because they are very rigid towards the attendance policy. Most importantly you'll have to be academically active here .
Other: Nmims have various committees where you'll learn a lot of things so don't worry you'll have a college life too and events like intra mediation, Intra Moot court, MUN and much more. The fees is much more than any other law college. I mean it is 3.2 LPA and it's just the tuition fees excluding the expenses in Mumbai city.

It’s good but not great. If you have no other choice than NMIMS, only pursue law here.
Placements: Placements scenario at KPMSOL is highly disappointing. The college admits over 400 students in each batch, but only 5-8 students manage secure placements through the placement cell. Most students find jobs through personal connections, networking, or independent applications.
Infrastructure: The college was earlier on the first floor of the Mithibai building, but fortunately, they have shifted to the old Mukesh Patel building, where the infrastructure is better than Mithibai. The construction is still underway in the next few months. Talking about the hostel facilities, they do have a hostel for students, but nobody prefers those because it's away from the college and it seems expensive for the price they demand a B.ED.
Faculty: I would say that the course curriculum is excellent in KPMSOL, and the exams are moderately difficult, but it is not that difficult to pass the exams. We have 50 marks in the term exam is out of 50 marks, with 20 marks being the passing mark. The faculty of a few subjects such as CRPC, IPR, Family Law, Company Law, Constitution, and IOS are amazing all are very helpful. However, some faculties, apart from these, lack basic knowledge.
Other: I think coming to NMIMS was a good decision because I came to Bombay and got so many opportunities to build my connections and do internships alongside my college. Certain things, such as a proper campus and better placement cells in college, still need to be improved. At NMIMS, there are festivals every day, so it's fun to attend the fests.

It was an extremely disappointing experience.
Placements: Placement is extremely low. Last year, due to COVID, there was zero placement, and currently as well, the placement is extremely poor. Poor-quality internships are offered by the institute as well. I would not recommend it if placement is your main objective.
Infrastructure: Classes are good as they are air-conditioned and neat and clean. However, the college is situated on just one floor of Mithibai College, which does not have good infrastructure, and there are no grounds or sports facilities. The college does not even have its own canteen.
Faculty: The course is pretty updated, but the teaching methods are still very old-school, and the teachers are also biassed towards their favourite students. Exams are also very stressful, as no preparatory leave is given by the college for the exams, making it very difficult to study.

It is the best college for top law firms.
Placements: Around 70% of students get placed in our college. The lowest salary package offered is 2.8 LPA and the highest salary package is 18 LPA. The recruiting companies are AZB, SAM, CAM, and many other corporate companies. Every student gets good internships. The roles offered are legal advisor, associate at a law firm, etc.
Infrastructure: Classes are now conducted on the 9th floor or the Mithibai building but from the next academic session, they may shift to a new building. Wi-Fi is always provided in our college. It has 2 libraries, one on the 8th floor, and the other on the 2nd floor. Our college has affiliated expensive hostels. It has a table tennis room.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are helpful. Majority of them are very good but some of them are not good. The course curriculum is good. Semester exams are moderate. Students can pass exams if they study regularly. Students have to do internships to get practical court experience to be ready for industries.
Other: Events organised in our college are good. Campus crowd is huge. I'm not aware of any scholarships.

    Busy yet, rewarding life.
Placements: Placements are fairly limited with about 15% of students getting placed via campus drives. While there are opportunities, they are limited and competitive, often depending on the student's individual performance. Mostly students rely on internships and off-campus opportunities.
Infrastructure: The course overall is hectic, and while the infrastructure is impressive, the campus life does not fully meet expectations. The canteen is great, but the Wi-Fi is restricted to college-related work only. There are plenty of committee opportunities and events to get involved in.
Faculty: Professors are great but the college timings are extremely tiring. The course curriculum is vast and is the marking system is divided into internals and external which makes it very difficult to cope up with other things. 100% attendance criteria is expected.
Other: The events at NMIMS are vibrant and well-organized, with over 13 active committees offering students ample opportunities to explore their interests and leadership skills. I chose NMIMS because I am primarily based in Mumbai. One of the best aspects of this college is the knowledgeable and approachable professors. Likewise, the strict attendance policy makes it difficult to manage personal life.
