NMIMS School of Law at par with NLUs.
Placements: The college has a very efficient placement cell that works hard to place students. The packages received by students range from 4-20 LPA each year. The college also provides internship opportunities in law firms that practice in a wide range of areas, from pharmaceutical to project finance and corporate law. Students can apply for internships and paralegalships starting in their second year. Many tier 1 law firms, such as Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas, Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas, and Stratage Law, hire students from NMIMS law school as associates.
Infrastructure: The college has recently moved to a new building. The building has been upgraded with new interiors, better classrooms, smart TVs, Wi-Fi, a library, and student conference and meeting rooms. The college also has a canteen that serves amazing meals throughout the day and provides a delivery service so that students living nearby can get their meals from the college.
Faculty: The faculty are very supportive and always willing to help me with my studies. They're highly qualified and provide students with excellent resources to prepare for their subjects. The teachers also try to create communication channels to help students interact for field-related queries and publication/internship/academic research opportunities. The course curriculum is at par with the National Law University colleges in India. The exams may be a little difficult, but that just motivates the students to perform better.
Other: I chose NMIMS for my degree because of its excellent management course and its reputation for student interaction. I contacted several people to learn more about the faculty and student interaction. Although the college timings and days can be improved, I believe that NMIMS provides one of the best management courses in the country. The college has a lot of committees formed by students themselves with the support of college that organize annual events such at Moot Court Competitions, ADR and Mediation events, cultural and sports event organized by Navrang the Fest, Frontiers welfare society doing social impact activities, Legal Aid committee etc. Students can participate and join these fests or events as per their interests and there is always a place for everyone to participate.

Decent college, no infrastructure as such, and good curriculum.
Placements: Most people get placed at our college. Generally, placements start in 4th year but we also have internship opportunities from our college. So there are always PPO chances for sole students. Most top law firms, like Khaitan, AZB, Trilegal, etc., come for campus placements.
Infrastructure: The course is amazing and is in demand these days. The only problem is the infrastructure. Our college is in the Mithibai building so there's many other colleges there as well. It becomes very crowded. Other than that, it's decent at best. The canteens are great.
Faculty: The faculty is decent. There are really good professors and there are okay ones as well. But the course outline is really good. It's very extensive and we'll structure it. It's planned well and ahead of time. The faculty tries hard to keep up with it. It's good overall.
Other: I took up law because I had no other option left (long story) but I definitely don't regret taking admission to Kirit P. Mehta School of Law.

It’s good but not great. If you have no other choice than NMIMS, only pursue law here.
Placements: Placements scenario at KPMSOL is highly disappointing. The college admits over 400 students in each batch, but only 5-8 students manage secure placements through the placement cell. Most students find jobs through personal connections, networking, or independent applications.
Infrastructure: The college was earlier on the first floor of the Mithibai building, but fortunately, they have shifted to the old Mukesh Patel building, where the infrastructure is better than Mithibai. The construction is still underway in the next few months. Talking about the hostel facilities, they do have a hostel for students, but nobody prefers those because it's away from the college and it seems expensive for the price they demand a B.ED.
Faculty: I would say that the course curriculum is excellent in KPMSOL, and the exams are moderately difficult, but it is not that difficult to pass the exams. We have 50 marks in the term exam is out of 50 marks, with 20 marks being the passing mark. The faculty of a few subjects such as CRPC, IPR, Family Law, Company Law, Constitution, and IOS are amazing all are very helpful. However, some faculties, apart from these, lack basic knowledge.
Other: I think coming to NMIMS was a good decision because I came to Bombay and got so many opportunities to build my connections and do internships alongside my college. Certain things, such as a proper campus and better placement cells in college, still need to be improved. At NMIMS, there are festivals every day, so it's fun to attend the fests.

Review of Kirit P. Mehta School of Law, NMIMS, Mumbai.
Placements: The placement cell isn't good at KPMSOL. Only the top 10% of students are placed with an average package. However, since NMIMS has a good brand name, getting internships is quite easier. But the package is as low as 8-9 LPA, which isn't worth it to spend here at NMIMS.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is great, fully air-conditioned. The library is decent. The canteen is above average. Only veg food is available, prices are a little on the higher end but it's value for money. They have an amazing variety. Classrooms are top-notch. Hostel isn't recommended.
Faculty: Teachers are great, major teachers are good, few are okay. Course outline is relevant. Yeah, it makes students industry-ready if internships are taken seriously. 50 marks - ICA (20 marks midsems - 10 GD, 10 Test MCQ, 10 class participation) 50 marks - Final exams.
Other: Fests are amazing. If it's NMIMS, take part in as many committees and fests as you can; it's the best part about them. Crowd is decent. Infra is great (Navi Mumbai Campus). No moot culture. Faculty have improved with time. Placement is a red flag.

Average college, below-average facilities, mixed faculty, and little to no opportunities.
Placements: Terrible placements after COVID, but the placement cell is working hard, at least to get themselves placed first. Internship opportunities are provided but only to a selected 2-3 out of a batch of 400 people. If you are interested in litigation or the judiciary, then this college is not for you.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is terrible; it does not even provide access to YouTube videos, which are required to learn because of competent teachers. The library is full during exams, with no place to sit. There are not enough classrooms to accommodate all the batches so timing is compromised for the same; sometimes 12 p.m.–6 p.m., sometimes 7 a.m., according to the whims of administration.
Faculty: Mixed kind of faculty members, permanent faculty members are worse than the temporary ones. Teachers like Twinkle Maheshwary are there who barely teach and are absent most of the time. But college compensates for that with some good ones too. Some of the faculty are experts in their niche, whereas others are just newbies who read word-for-word from PowerPoints and won't be able to answer questions on their own subject.

NMIMS is a decent college .
Placements: As per the latest records, the highest package offered was 18 LPA (2023) including 2 years of lockdown which somehow impacted the growth. Average package was 9 LPA for B.A. LLB and 6-7 LPA for BBA LLB. I would say that by the time I will graduate from this college, placements will be good enough. But there are so many drawbacks of being in nmims like daily expenses are way too high, infra is compromised, and 80% strict attendance.
Infrastructure: KPMSOL (Kirit P. Mehta School of law) plays a very unique marketing strategy where they'll always show you the glass building when you search nmims but in reality you'll have to attend all your lectures in mithibai building which is not upto the mark. They are planning to shift us to a new building, Let us hope for the best.
Faculty: The faculty is pretty good and let me be very clear you won't have a Bollywood college life. You'll have to attend lectures regularly because they are very rigid towards the attendance policy. Most importantly you'll have to be academically active here .
Other: Nmims have various committees where you'll learn a lot of things so don't worry you'll have a college life too and events like intra mediation, Intra Moot court, MUN and much more. The fees is much more than any other law college. I mean it is 3.2 LPA and it's just the tuition fees excluding the expenses in Mumbai city.
