NMIMS LAT application form 2026 has released. As part of the registration process, the candidates have to schedule their exam that will be conducted in an online, center-based mode within said dates as per the exam slots booked by candidates.  Candidates can fill NMIMS LAT Application Form 2026 in online mode only.

The application process of NMIMS LAT will br considered complete once candidates pay the fee and submit the form. NMIMS LAT stands for Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies Law Aptitude Test. This law admission is conducted for admission to BA LLB (Hons) and BBA LLB (Hons) courses offered by NMIMS Mumbai and affiliated colleges of NMIMS Deemed-to-be University.  

Candidates need to fulfil the below-mentioned eligibility criteria in order to appear for NMIMS LAT 2026:

• Candidates should pass Class 12 or equivalent from a recognised board in any stream with at least 50 per cent aggregate
• Candidates who have passed Class 12 from International Baccalaureate (IB) board should be either IB certificate/ & DP awarded with minimum 24 total credits having passed 3 HL and 3 SL mandatorily from any stream
• In case, the marksheet issued by the relevant board is in percentile, the actual aggregate percentage of all the subjects in which the candidate has appeared will be taken into consideration
• Candidates who are ungraded/failed in any subject mentioned in the marksheet are not eligible to apply for the exam
• Candidates appearing for the final Class 12 exams are also eligible to apply. However, such candidates will need to fulfil the above criteria within the given stipulated time.

NMIMS LAT is conducted once a year in online mode. Candidates who score above the cut-off marks can get admission to the 5-year integrated BA LLB and BBA LLB programme.

The level can change on the basis of the individual preparation. While some find the exam find it easy others may struggle with certain sections. In comparison to other law entrance this is easier.

No, the candidates cannot change their exam centres after the NMIMS LAT admit card has been released. They cannot appear for the exam at any other test centre other than the one mentioned on their admit card either. If they try to do so, they will be disqualified. So, candidates should download the admit card as soon as it is released and check the exam centre location. They must make prior arrangements of travel and reaching exam centre on time on the exam day.

When filling the NMIMS LAT application form, they must take utmost care in choosing test city preferences. They must choose their city of residence as the first option so that they are alloted a test centre in the same city. Filling the NMIMS LAT application form at the earliest will put them in a better position of getting the centre in the test city of their choice. 

The NMIMS LAT Admission Process includes the release of the NMIMS LAT 2026 Admission form, then the Admit Card of NMIMS LAT exam will be released. After this, the NMIMS LAT exam 2026 will be conducted. Later, NMIMS LAT result will be announced.

NMIMS LAT exam centre will be allotted along with the admit card. Candidates are advised to check the admit card to know about the exam centre and other crucial details. Apart from name and address of allotted NMIMS LAT exam centre, the admit card comprises details such as exam date, timing, exam day guidelines etc. Date for admit card release is published along with the information brochure on the official website. Candidates have to download the admit card for NMIMS LAT after logging and providing details such as application ID, password and others. 

Candidates must note that there is no negative marking in the NMIMS LAT exam. Candidates get 1 mark for each correct answer.
