I am not happy with the faculty members and placements are the worst.

Placements: Despite coming from a finance background we were informed that there's no job related to finance so you'll be sitting for sales job marketing and some BPO jobs. Students like me coming from a mediocre background can't say no. Students from my batch were sitting and giving interviews for the sales job. Till now only 2 students have been placed so placement here in this college is more than the worst and the highest package now provided is around 5.5 LPA.

Infrastructure: Classrooms and library are good but can be better. The canteen is more like a fish market. The college is not interested in other sports and always gives priority to cricket and football and sometimes badminton. Can't say anything about the hostel till now because I've never been there.

Faculty: Improve the techniques of conducting exams. They always give priority to their local students who speak the local language of that state (Bengal). Being a non-Bengal you suffer a lot. Semester exams are not tough the questions are very basic.

Other: It is the best college. Everything can improve.

Placements: NSHM provides 100% placement to their students. The average salary package offered by this college is above 5 LPA. Internship opportunities are available for all students related to their field. Manager, branch manager, and officer in charge are some of the roles which are offered by them in our course.

Infrastructure: Facilities like Wi-Fi and other technology needs are available for the respective branches. Books are well-explained and useful for studies. Hostel is well-maintained sometimes we may face some discomfort in the food section but most of the time they maintain good hygiene. Indoor games are available like carrom board, table tennis, chess, etc. Medical facilities are also available for students who need.

Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified and well trained also they interact very well with the students. Course curriculum is relevant, and it helps to be industry-ready at every point. Semester exams are not difficult if we study for them, the questions are easy not very hard. Pass percentage is above 50%.

Other: Overall experience of our course is good and I'm satisfied enough.

Totally satisfied because of facilities, faculty, and good opportunities and placements.

Placements: The lowest package is around Rs 1,00,000 and the highest is around Rs 5,00,000-6,00,000. Recruiting companies are Calvin Klein, Amazon, Google, etc. Around 20-40% of students get internships in companies like Calvin Klein. The top roles offered by our college are MBA, Maharashtra, etc.

Infrastructure: There are many labs, and the entire campus has Wi-Fi facilities. There are 2 libraries on the campus. The canteen is divided into two parts: one part is managed by in-house hotel management students, and the other by handicapped people who are given the opportunity to work and earn money.

Faculty: The teachers and faculty are really helpful and help the students understand concepts, encourage them, and boost their confidence. The life skill and personality development classes and communication skills make students industry-ready. There are 8 continuous assessments and 2 final semesters in a year.

Other: There are many unique courses offered by NSHM, like BBA in Sports Management, and BBA in Auditing, Taxation, and Accounting. I chose Global Business because it helps me understand business on a broader and international scale.

Overall satisfied with NSHM, Kolkata.

Placements: 90% of students get placed, with the highest package being 6.50 LPA, the lowest, and the average around 4.50 LPA. Companies like HDFC Bank, PWC, TCS, and KPMG recruit from the college. Additionally, 98% get placed in companies such as TCS, KPMG, Deloitte, HDFC Bank, Capgemini, Axis Bank, Bandhan Bank, PwC, Amul, and Berger Paints, offering positions like finance manager, risk and insurance manager, treasurer, accounting manager, chief finance controller, and finance director. .

Infrastructure: Well-equipped classrooms, libraries with a vast collection of books, and computer labs with the latest technology. Facilities are satisfactory to good, particularly in terms of hostel infrastructure and sports/games. While the mess food is often described as decent, some students express concerns about monotony. Medical facilities are also available.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful; they really help to understand things and also give real-life examples. This college also prefers practical things which will help us to get industry ready. The semesters are quite difficult, and the pass percentage is 70-80%.

Other: Optometry has many opportunities in the medical, retail, and corporate fields, so personal research is mandatory. NSHM hosts its own optometry conference every year and has many fests and extracurricular clubs that students can join. The fests are no doubt good.

Looks good outside but is dirty inside, no AC, bad food, poor faculty, not worth the fees.

Placements: Around 78% of students get placement. It is not guaranteed. I am not sure because I am still in my 2nd year and have not gotten an internship yet. Fortis, Narayan Memorial Hospital, Apollo, and many well-known hospitals are connected with NSHM for internships. Internships are offered in many well-known hospitals. Roles offered include floor manager, management, job accountant, and dean.

Infrastructure: There is no Wi-Fi in the college except when we need to take exams on our laptops. Classrooms are old and outdated. The benches are not comfortable, and most importantly, there is no AC. All the rooms are very hot. There are no proper games or sports facilities. In fact, there is no playground. Canteen food is just overpriced.

Faculty: Teachers are good and knowledgeable, but the teaching quality is not the best. They just show a presentation and read from it. It does make students a bit knowledgeable about the corporate industry because of all the seminars they conduct. The semesters are very tough, and many people get back papers.

Other: There are always some extracurricular activities. Login is one of the best fests in Kolkata.

It has a bad campus infrastructure, no good amenities, and average placements.

Placements: I pursued a BBA from 2022-25. Placements are initially assured. The training and placement cell was introduced during the final year, which created challenges for securing jobs. It is crucial to review T and C beforehand. Companies like Planet Spark, Corizo, Merlin, etc., participated in placement sessions but promised ones like Amazon, Google, Nestled, and Paytm are offbeat. Roles offered are sales development, HR, and telecalling with 70% of placements. The salary package ranges from 1.55-6 LPA. All students received mandatory internships under ITC for their project reports.

Infrastructure: The college promised us AC classrooms and very good amenities which none is fulfilled. There are no proper Wi-Fi and AC facilities. Labs and library are well with computer labs having AC. There is no such proper hostel facility as of my knowledge because mostly all my classmates from out of town used to rent and stay. The canteen food is nice and the initiative of building the Mitti cafe is for physically challenging people, which is really a very good initiative. No proper medical amenities are available. It just has a basic sick room and no playground for sports.

Faculty: Few teachers are really very talented and knowledgeable and came out more than their way to help us with various things by providing notes, PDFs, materials, mock tests, and regular monition. I strongly feel the course curriculum is very relevant and will make students industry-ready. Semester exams are conducted by MAKAUT in college with invigilators who are very strict and very concerned with high security so there is no leniency. Whereas, writing long answers can fetch good marks. The pass percentage is 40%.

Other: I chose this course because I am highly interested in the HR field and this course actually helped me a lot to boost my knowledge. Betterments like more regular classes, proper timing, and more classes would actually build more improvisation to the course. There are plenty of events going on like a lot, which I cannot recall all the names but the best one is the Login fest of BBA students which is top-notch.
