Mixed experience at Nxtwave college: Strong placements & infrastructure, but poor faculty support.

Placements: 80% of students are placed in our college. The highest package is 1 lakh, the lowest package is Rs. 50,000 to Rs. 60,000. Amazon and Flipkart are recruiting companies in our college. Almost all students get internships from our course at Amazon, Flipkart, and many other companies.

Infrastructure: Our college has some facilities like Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, a lobby, a playground, and a cafeteria. The food in the mess and canteen is good. The medical facilities are available. We have sports and many games to play. We learn lots of study and extra activities in our college. I am very happy to join this college.

Faculty: The teachers are very helpful to us, and the teaching quality is good. The course curriculum is relevant and makes students industry-ready. 75% is the pass percentage, which is very good in my college. I never saw this college, but the college fee is too high, but the study is good. BITS exams are conducted offline.

Other: I chose this college for coding. All is good for us, no improvement needed. We have events, campus crowd, connectivity, campus surroundings, scholarship, and extracurricular activities.

Industry-relevant curriculum with great placement support.

Placements: At NIAT, around 60%-70% of students have secured an internship. First, they conduct an exam regarding the tech sack. We have learnt, and if we get the required percentage, then we will get qualified for further steps. After qualifying, we have to attend a virtual interview.

Infrastructure: At NIAT, the course is designed to be completely self-paced, making it ideal for flexible learning. High-speed internet is available in college. As of now, they don't have a hostel, so we are staying at PG. We have very few sports facilities. Before, they used to provide us with a ground for 2 hours, but now they aren't providing ground.

Faculty: The teaching is clear, practical, and focused on real-world skills. Concepts are explained with hands-on coding, which makes it easy to understand even for beginners. The faculty and mentors are helpful. The curriculum is very industry-relevant and constantly updated based on current tech trends.

Other: They need to conduct more events for students. From morning to evening, we just work like machines, there is no place for relaxing. They only provide 1 hour for lunch, and that's it. Students need more break to relax themself.

Absolutely satisfied with faculty and internships in 2025.

Placements: I am part of the first graduating batch of B.Sc. (online) from BITS Pilani with NxtWave. Around 150–200 students receive conditional offers from startups, and 10–12 secure paid internships with an average stipend of Rs. 20,000. This is the first batch with real classrooms before the online program. So we can't say much about the package except that it is a good amount and provides hands-on coding skills.

Infrastructure: The college offers excellent classrooms with modern design, dual LED screens, and well-structured classes with 60 students per room. The learning experience is smooth and effective. Unfortunately, the hostel experience is not very good. The hostels are not well-maintained, and the food quality is not very tasty or healthy. I rate it 2/5. Only indoor games are available. There are no outdoor sports or recreational areas, which is a downside for students who enjoy physical activities.

Faculty: We have instructors and mentors to guide us. They explain the approach and encourage us to solve problems ourselves, which really improves our thinking skills. The curriculum is completely updated and industry-focused. In just 11 months, we learn HTML, CSS, Python, JavaScript, Node.js, DSA, and more. Exams are held every month to assess what we’ve recently learned. BITS Online open-book exams are conducted every 3 months.

Other: There are a total of 1000 students. Around 700 students choose the Online Degree at BITS Pilani, and the remaining choose B.Tech at CDU. We have some fests in our college, like the Onam celebration, Dandiya event, and more.

Strong technical exposure with decent internship opportunities.

Placements: We are the first batch to pass out. Many startup companies from Delhi, Bangalore, Kerala, and Hyderabad give conditional offer letters to around 150–200 students, and I am one of them. We are given a certain period for the interview. Recently, 10–12 students cracked the interviews, got offer letters, and joined their respective paid internships. The average stipend we get is Rs. 20,000.

Infrastructure: College has fully modern classrooms with two LED screens in each classroom and around 60 students per class. Everything is excellent. The hostel rating is 1 out of 5. We are given some of the worst hostels in Gowlidoddy, especially in terms of food quality, which is the worst. We also have only indoor games.

Faculty: We have instructors and mentors who help us solve our doubts. They explain the approach and let us solve the problem ourselves. The curriculum is totally updated. We learn HTML, CSS, Python, JavaScript, ReactJS, NodeJS, Java, and Spring. We also explore Bootstrap, Postman, MySQL Workbench, and many other tools, all within just 11 months. We have exams every 20–22 days on the topics we have recently completed.

Other: Out of a total of 1000 students, around 700 choose an online Bachelor's degree in Computer Science at BITS Pilani. The remaining choose B.Tech at CDU. We also have some fests in our college. For example, we celebrate Onam and many more events.

In our college, faculty was good.

Placements: Around 85% of students get placed in our course. The highest package offered in our course is around 12 LPA (offered by Amazon), the average package is around 10 LPA, and the lowest is around 6 LPA. Top companies include Infosys, Wipro, and Amazon. About 40% of students secure internships from our course in companies like Amazon, Microsoft, and Google. Roles include backend and frontend.

Infrastructure: Our department is well-equipped with all facilities for academic and practical learning. The classrooms are spacious. High-speed Wi-Fi is available. The hostel facilities are not good. The mess provides different types of food, but they are not tasty. In my hostel, medical facilities are not there, but sports and games are available.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable in their subjects. My teachers clear my doubts. The teaching quality is good compared to other colleges. The course curriculum is fairly relevant. Students are truly industry-ready. The semester exams are difficult. The pass percentage is between 60% and 70%.

Other: I chose this course because of my strong interest in technology and problem-solving. Working with AI, workshops, AI tools, and encouraging more live projects and internships. In our college, cultural festivals and fests are well-organized. There are many clubs.

This is helpful for the upcoming generation. There is good faculty and advanced technology.

Placements: Our college was separate from other colleges. They encouraged us very well and offered internships from the first year onwards. There were monthly exams. After writing the exams, we had to qualify, and later, they conducted interviews with top companies.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure was fully advanced. Facilities were very good. The classrooms were so clean. A 24-hour Wi-Fi was available, and the staff was knowledgeable. The food was also nice. On Mondays and Tuesdays, games were for girls, and on the remaining days, sports like shuttle and throwball were for boys.

Faculty: Teachers were very knowledgeable and guided us very well. Staff from top companies came. The course was relevant. For us, semester exams were conducted by BITS Pilani, and they only gave us certificates. For B.Tech students, the certificate was from CDU (Chaitanya Deemed University).

Other: From the first year onwards, we built done and video editing. They have different types of workshops and events, like sports, for us.
