Both sides of Odisha University of Technology and Research (Formerly CET), Bhubaneswar.

Infrastructure: No doubt, its infrastructure is developing. Like-new furnished centralised AC rooms are made for the digital manufacturing department and other departments, and we are getting AC rooms for regular lectures as well. But there are limited seats in the university hostel, which are available to the students who secure the top CGPA rank. For those who will not be able to join a university hostel, they can be admitted to nearby private hostels whose rent is approximately 40,000 per year without your f...

A solid government college for Architecture with great exposure and faculty members.

Infrastructure: Architecture department has its own dedicated block. The best part is the spacious and well-lit design studios, which are essential for our work. The department also has its own library with a decent collection of architecture books and journals, though some are a bit dated. The central library is, of course, huge. Hostel facilities are good for the price. The rooms are standard, and Wi-Fi is available, though it can be slow at times. Mess food is average, like any government hostel, but it is h...

Genuine experience after joining Odisha University of Technology and Research.

Infrastructure: You can't say university has a good infrastructure because it's still a developing campus, as some of the buildings are under construction and will be completed within a year. Wi-Fi is installed all over the academic building but its range does not cover all the places in each building. In campus hostel, you will get a very bad internet speed of Wi-Fi along with your personal internet as there is heavy traffic and no telecom tower near university. You will get a much more options in games as man...

This is a government college.

Infrastructure: Hostel rooms have 2 (APJ boys hostel) or 3 (RHR boys hostel) beds per room with 1 ceiling fan and 1 tubelight. Meal menu is versatile with good quality tasty food in hostel. Students can play badminton and basketball in respective courts and cricket on grounds. Academic environment and overall environment is quite silent to have self-study. Classrooms are good. Labs are spacious and have all apparatus.

The university for students who dare.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good, but the hostel facilities can be better for the students willing to stay in the hostel. It has a separate hostel for freshers so they can be away from the seniors. There is no ragging. It has sufficient rooms and provides free Wi-Fi.

Good placements this year.

Infrastructure: Decent campus of 100 acres. Don't expect a good college life, but the canteen food tastes good. The hostel and classrooms are decent. Some smart rooms have AC, and food quality is also 7 out of 10. Clubs, fests, and cultural activities exist, but sometimes feel limited in scale. Some students feel there should be more student engagement outside academics. Industrial exposure (site visits, real-world projects) in core branches seems less consistent.

This university is very good and provides full of knowledge, I recommend to take seat here.

Infrastructure: The facility and infrastructure at OUTR are very good and well-maintained. All labs are well-equipped and clean, and classrooms are also well-maintained. The hostels have a good Wi-Fi facility, a good mess, and 24/7 medical facilities. The mess food is also very good.

OUTR Bhubaneswar: A growing tech hub with strong placements, evolving infrastructure.

Infrastructure: OUTR spans over 100 acres with departmental blocks, labs, canteens, sports courts, still expanding, classrooms, and basic facilities. Wi-Fi is spotty. Hostels offer beds, wardrobes, purifiers, a TV in the mess, and decent mess food, but capacity is limited, allotted by rank. Some buildings need renovation, but new construction is underway.

Review of Odisha University of Technology and Research.

Infrastructure: Facilities available in our hostel included Wi-Fi, drinking water, light, fans, and beds. Fully air-conditioned classrooms were available in our college. A central library was available on our campus, and books could be issued to students. The quality of food in the mess was average. There were three canteens on our campus. The fast food was good. We had a small ground to play different sports like volleyball, football, and cricket.

College of Engineering and Technology Review.

Infrastructure: The college lacks proper instructors. The classrooms were very basic, and the canteen served only limited items like samosas and tea. Essentially, the college functions more as a place to write exams rather than attend classes. Medical facilities were absent. Hostel facilities were not up to that mark, but they ensured comfort for students. The mess serves hygienic food, and the water supply was well managed.

It is a decent college with a high return.

Infrastructure: Above-average facilities are available here. The quality of food is very good. Sport facilities are average. Mess and canteen quality is good, but not excellent. Medical facilities are very good. Our college owns a personal ambulance for emergencies. The library is excellent in our college. From the 2nd year, classrooms are attached to AC. But in 1st year, there is no AC.

A brief introduction of OUTR, Bhubaneswar.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available, but sometimes it doesn't work, so they get it fixed. Classrooms aren't nice. Labs are mid and library is under construction, it's going to be a nice one. Sports aren't much encouraged among students. Mess food in girls hostel is trash.

Good and decent placements.

Infrastructure: The entire 100+ acre residential campus is covered by 24/7 Wi-Fi, accessible to students, faculty, and staff. Each department has dedicated labs fitted with up-to-date equipment and software for practical sessions and research purposes, and the central computer center hosts around 300 computers with licensed technical/software tools. The central library holds over 41,000 books, and shuttle services are provided for students and faculty, with banking and ATM facilities available on campus. OUTR h...
