This is a government college.

Faculty: The faculty to student ratio is 1:16, the student-faculty relationship is really understanding and cooperative. In total, there are 5 exams: 2 midterms, 2 end semester, 1 special exam. The course curriculum is firmly based on Electrical Engineering core fundamentals which helps to build the concept of Electrical Machines and Devices, power electronics devices along with transmission lines and control system. Real world application will be based on most of the theories we are learning now.

The university for students who dare.

Faculty: Teachers and professors are highly qualified. Most of them have done their M.Tech from top universities of India. All of them are very supportive and helpful to the students. The semester exams help you improve, and a minimum of 75% attendance is required to appear in the exams.

Good placements this year.

Faculty: Faculty is good, but college life is entirely dependent on yourself. You have to study for a good CGPA. Exams are also held every two months. Many students report that semester exams are moderate to somewhat difficult, especially in higher semesters. It's not super easy, but not extremely harsh either. If you've studied regularly, you have a good chance. Some say studying a week before is sufficient to get a good SGPA, more than 8 in many branches. That suggests the exam format is somewhat predi...

This university is very good and provides full of knowledge, I recommend to take seat here.

Faculty: The faculty members at the university are well-qualified and have very good knowledge of their course. They are very helpful, and their teaching techniques are very satisfactory. The semester exams are a little bit hard and strict. The pass percentage is almost 100%.

OUTR Bhubaneswar: A growing tech hub with strong placements, evolving infrastructure.

Faculty: OUTR has mostly well-qualified, PhD-holding faculty from IITs, NITs, and IIITs, helpful yet occasionally rigid. Curriculum is strong, featuring coding, spoken English, and industry-relevant modules. Exams include two class tests and end-semester paper. The passing required 75% attendance.

Review of Odisha University of Technology and Research.

Faculty: Faculty members are experienced and talented, and they are good at teaching. There is no special care given to any student; everyone is treated equally. As the years proceed, students will find their studies more interesting. The difficulty of the examinations is quite high, and probably around 80% of students will pass.

Review of Odisha University of Technology and Research.

Faculty: Faculty members were approachable and assisted with concept clarification and doubt-solving, preparing students for real-world industry. However, due to a general lack of student focus, the pass percentage remained just above 50%. Still, teachers were supportive.

College of Engineering and Technology Review.

Faculty: Faculty members were caring and supportive, treating students with individual attention. However, a few teachers were strict and maintained a rigid, traditional mindset, which sometimes leads to gender bias and disciplinary conflicts. Overall, the faculty members were good and approachable.

It is a decent college with a high return.

Faculty: Some teachers are helpful and qualified. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are moderate tough. About 97% of students pass semester exams. Some teachers are very rude, but they help a lot with studies. The course curriculum is also tough, but not like IITs.

Odisha University of Technology and Research review.

Faculty: Teaching staff is well-qualified and knowledgeable. They use engaging methods such as storytelling and presentations to explain topics. The curriculum is appropriate and relevant. If students understand the concepts well, they usually find it easy to pass the exams.

A brief introduction of OUTR, Bhubaneswar.

Faculty: Teachers aren't much of a help, although they are qualified but it doesn't seem like they want to teach or are even interested in doing so. They just like to boss around and show off their position. Semester exams are moderate but the marking is tough. Passing CGPA for the 1st year is 4.5, for second year is 5, and for 3rd and 4th years is 5.5.

The college has really very good facilities.

Faculty: All the teachers are very helpful, knowledgeable, and they help us a lot. A 5 CGPA is the passing grade. It's not that difficult to pass the semester. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes the students industry-ready because we are doing a lot of projects in this.

Reality check you need to have before joining OUTR.

Faculty: Semester exams are not that difficult if you have studied. The professors do provide the notes, but in teaching, some are not up to mark. Studying for just a week before the exam is enough to score 8+ SGPA. Moreover, the curriculum is the same as NITs, but somewhere I feel it has not been renewed and follows the old system, and lacks the ability to deal with real-world problems.

In short, I can say that buildings need renovation, and placements are decent.

Faculty: Semester exams are not always that difficult if you have studied. Teachers in college just provide notes. Some don't even do that. It all depends on you. Never depend on the faculty members to complete the syllabus. You should make your own study plans.

For students aiming for good placements in B.Tech is a nice choice.

Faculty: Teachers in our branch are well-qualified with great knowledge. They are helpful. Curriculum of this course is average. Around 5th and 6th semesters, they make students industry-ready. Semester exams are average, and pass percentage is around 37%.
